Definitions
- the invention is based on a shower head, for example with an overhead shower, a side shower or a hand shower can be used.
- the shower head contains a water channel connected to a supply line can be and which leads to a spray disc.
- a jet disc is a multitude of jet outlet openings arranged.
- a shower head of this type is already known, in which in axial extension of the jet outlet openings cleaning pins are arranged using an actuator inserted into the beam outlet openings can be. This allows for the edges of the beam outlet openings adhering impurities, calcifications or eliminate the like.
- the invention has for its object to a shower head create a possibility of change with a simple structure the one emerging from the beam outlet openings Allows water jet.
- the invention proposes a shower head with the features mentioned in claim 1. Training the invention are the subject of dependent claims, their wording by reference to the content of the description is made.
- the pins are moved to the active position in which they are not yet the cross section of the beam outlet openings close but reduce. This creates a beam outlet with a reduced cross section, the not only changed the beam pattern of the beam, but the Water jet also makes harder. It is therefore with little Effort possible to change the hardness of the jet without this would require two different water channels.
- a third position of the movement device is provided in of the pins the cross section of the beam exit opening reduce it even further, even close it.
- the pins in the third position with a front section in the jet outlet openings are arranged.
- they can with this front section the jet outlet openings close completely.
- the invention proposes that the pins have an axial shoulder may have, the outer diameter of the inner diameter the beam exit openings are substantially the same and that when moving from the active position to the third position moved into the beam outlet openings becomes.
- This axial shoulder can, for example, from the front End face of the pins are formed. When moving in those sticking there are in the beam outlet openings Calcifications removed and removed.
- this shoulder not only in the Beam outlet openings into it, but through it to the opposite end of the jet outlet openings is moved.
- the movement device the pens moved, preferably all pens. It is but also possible that only groups of pens at a time be moved.
- the movement device can be a manual one for its movement
- actuating element for example a rotary handle, by twisting a slide guide to move it the pins and / or the spray disc actuated.
- the movement device is driven directly by the flowing water, for example with the help of a turbine.
- the pins have a front section of reduced diameter have in the active position in the beam outlet openings is arranged.
- jet outlet openings on the inside of the spray disc from a recess Enlarged diameter are surrounded in which the front End of the pins in the active position of the movement device is arranged. This way there will be a reduction of the cross section immediately before the start of the beam exit openings causes.
- Both the recesses on the inside of the spray disc as well as the front sections of reduced diameter the pins can be designed so that in the active Position of the movement device for each beam outlet opening an annular channel between it and the associated pin is formed.
- Fig. 1 shows the front end of a hand shower 1.
- a shower head 2 which has a spray disc 3 has.
- a flat cylindrical Ring 4 arranged between the handle and the spray disc 3 lies.
- the ring 4 can be perpendicular to the jet disc 3 extending axis are rotated.
- On the inside of the ring 4 are two radially inward Pin 5 fastened in a groove 6 of a ring member 7 intervene.
- the ring element 7 is non-rotatable, however slidable in the direction of the jet disc 3 and away from it stored in the shower head.
- On the spray disc 3 facing end face of the ring member 7 are over the Distributed circumferentially several pins 8, for example in one piece.
- Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 show only two such Pins 8, the rest are for the sake of simplicity omitted.
- the jet disc 3 has a plurality along its circumference of jet outlet openings 9, which extend the Pins 8 are arranged.
- the inner ring member 7 can be moved so that the Pins 8 approach the jet outlet openings 9 and in penetrate this.
- On the right in Fig. 1 is a position of the inner ring member 7 shown in the cross section the beam outlet openings 9 practically not affected is. This position is called the inactive or rest position.
- the inner ring element can be moved from this position move to the position shown on the left in FIG. 1, in which the pin 8 completely exits the jet outlet opening 9 closes, being arranged in this outlet opening is.
- Fig. 2 shows the ring member 7 in a side view also shows the groove 6.
- the outer ring 4 then also has three such pins 5.
- Each pin 5 then engages a groove 6 a.
- the diameter of the engaging in the groove 6 Part of the pin 5 corresponds approximately to the distance of the two side edges 10 of each groove.
- These grooves 6 run obliquely, in the example shown first in one and then in the other direction. A rotation of the ring 4 in a direction of rotation therefore initially leads to a shift of the ring element 7 in one direction and then to a shift in the opposite direction back to the starting position.
- the pins 8 are shaped so that they have a section 8a have a larger diameter that the inner diameter of the Beam outlet openings 9 is essentially the same, at most slightly smaller.
- a second section 8b arranged with a smaller diameter, whereby also this part 8b is cylindrical.
- An axial shoulder 11 is formed in diameter runs around the pin 8 around.
- FIG. 3 shows a representation corresponding to FIG. 1 a second embodiment. While in the embodiment 1 with the help of the outer ring 4 the inside Pins 8 having ring element 7 is moved are at 3, the pins 8 are part of an immovable Part of the housing, while the the beam outlet openings 9 having jet disc 3 is displaceable.
- the Jet disc 3 has an approximately in this embodiment cylindrical jacket 12, see Fig. 4, in which the oblique extending grooves 6 are formed. Again it is Inside of the outer ring 4, a pin 5 is arranged, the engages in the grooves 6 and when the ring element is rotated 4 moves the spray disc 3. This also allows Represent positions in which the pins 8 in front of the Beam exit openings 9, see left in Fig. 3, or in these are arranged, see on the right in FIG. 3.
- Fig. 5 now shows in greater detail the assignment between the pins 8 and the beam outlet opening 9.
- the jet disc 3 so far outwards, i.e. in Fig. 5 down, shifted that the front portion 8b of the pin with its end face 13 still in front of the beam outlet opening 9 lies.
- the cross section through the beam outlet opening 9 is practically not affected, so that the water from the jet outlet opening in a soft Beam emerges.
- the jet disc 3 is shifted so far that the Front portion 8b of pin 8 is substantially complete is arranged in the beam outlet opening 9.
- the face 13 runs flush with the outside of the spray disc in the area of the beam outlet opening 9.
- the axial Length of the front section 8b with reduced diameter corresponds approximately to the axial length of the jet outlet opening 9.
- a narrow annular gap is formed, leading to a reduction the effective cross section of the beam outlet opening leads. This creates a hard jet.
- Fig. 7 shows the third possible position between the Spray disc and the pins 8.
- the shoulder formed at the transition between parts 8a and 8b 11 pushed completely through the beam outlet opening 9, so that they are on the outside of the spray disc Area of the beam outlet opening 9 is.
- the shoulder 11 through the beam outlet pushed through so that during this movement adhering to the edges of the beam outlet opening 9 Can remove calcifications and transport them outside.
- the front Section 8b is cylindrical. It could also be conical.
- FIGS. 5 to 7 for the embodiment of FIG. 3rd is shown applies equally to the embodiment 1 and 2, in which the pins 8 are displaceable are and not the spray disc 3.
- a manual Control element used to the different positions to manufacture.
- the arrangement of a turbine inside the showerhead could also serve as a constant back and forth To reach the pins 8 or the jet disc 3, to constantly be between a soft beam, a hard one Switch beam and a cleaning position.
- FIGS. 11 to 14 show further embodiments of FIG Pins as proposed by the invention for the shower head become. Only the pens themselves are in the figures shown so that a movement device for their movement is used as it is with reference to Figures 1 to 7 was illustrated and explained.
- the pins 8 from a front cylindrical section 8b of reduced diameter and a subsequent one Passed section 8a with an enlarged diameter are distinguished by that the larger diameter section of the cylindrical shape and thus also from the shape of the beam exit hole, into the into which it can be moved.
- the pin 18 contains a front portion 8b forming its free end where the pin 18 has a constant diameter with a smooth Surface. In this respect, this corresponds to the embodiments according to FIGS. 1 to 7.
- the adjoining section 18a has in its cylindrical surface, the diameter of which is the diameter corresponds to the beam exit hole, several over the full length extending grooves 19. These grooves 19 have one of the free end of the pin 18 facing Starting from decreasing cross-section, so that at further moving the pin 18 into the beam exit hole the amount of water flowing through is reduced.
- FIG. 12 shows a view of the pin 18 from below in FIG. 11. It can be seen that the grooves 19, for example with a triangular cross section both a decreasing width as well as a decreasing depth.
- Fig. 13 shows the side view of a pin 28, in which in one or more grooves 20 in the cylindrical part 28a are arranged, the cross-section does not change exhibit.
- the grooves 20 run obliquely with respect to Longitudinal axis or along a helix with very big slope. This does not change the Amount of water escaping while moving the Part 28a causes, however, a certain change in the beam pattern.
- Fig. 14 shows an embodiment of a pin 38, in which in the Surface of the cylindrical part 38a in the longitudinal direction extending recesses 21 are formed, which are not extend over the entire length of the cylindrical part 38a.
