Die auf das Datenträgernaterial durch Bedrucken aufgebrachte Codierung, beispielsweise in Form eines EAN-Codes, durchläuft den entsprechenden Temperaturprozeß bis zu 550 °C und läßt sich anschließend automatisch mit den bekannten Erfassungsmethoden, beispielsweise Scannern, lesen und zuordnen.
