Definitions
- the present invention relates to a roofing membrane used as moisture protection installed in the roof area and on elements of the roof can be attached.
- Such a roofing membrane has become known from German utility model 297 00 987 .
- roofing membranes are Underlays as well as all kinds of underlays understood. It is common today for roof coverings made of clay roof tiles or concrete roof slabs to be used. Due to local Conditions of climatic, structural or usage-related Art is a roof made of various combinations of functional Layers built up, which are necessary through thermal protection measures become.
- the use of roofing membranes also serves as a preventive measure Measure of constructive wood protection of the roof structure.
- roofing membranes (roofing membranes) or roofing becomes effective and permanently safe measure against damage caused by secondary thawing constructively possible.
- By training one roofing membrane or a sub-roof over a layer of thermal insulation Material will be two ventilation zones in the roof area (above and below the roofing membrane). Because of the thermal Conditions within such a roof result in different Ventilation room temperatures in these two zones and consequently also different ventilation flow rates.
- the use of roofing membranes has a positive effect on ventilation behavior the roof.
- the roofing membrane can be constructed from several individual layers be. Due to its flexibility, the roofing membrane can be used in different ways Roof contours well adjusted and by the craftsman be relocated. As a rule, the large-area roofing membrane is rolled up or made folded so that they are in the roof area can be easily spread out. Then the roofing membrane fastened by the craftsman.
- the attachment of the well-known roofing membrane turns out however difficult because separate fastening means for their fastening must be used.
- the roofing membrane is through Pins or nails attached to the rafters.
- double-sided adhesive strips can also be used for fastening the roofing membrane. It must be noted that the adhesives are heat-resistant because the roofing membrane especially in the summer months due to sun exposure can heat up strongly.
- the attachment of the known roofing membrane is particularly problematic in cases where the artisan has poor access Places in the roof area must work. If the attachment the roofing membrane is not sufficient, it can be attached to this later Places where there is an undesirable ingress of moisture. The The protective effect of the roofing membrane is impaired.
- the present invention is therefore based on the technical problem of simplifying the attachment of a roofing membrane of the type mentioned and of being able to carry it out more easily.
- the adhesive layer can be targeted after installation be activated where there is a connection with elements of the roof should be achieved.
- the adhesive layer one installed roofing membrane from its opposite back surface activate through the thin-walled roofing membrane material. Also after laying and fastening the roofing membrane easily create new attachment points this way. If against the known roofing membrane has already been at least partially fixed is, for example, the double-sided adhesive tape on some Locations are no longer appropriate, even if this is desirable would. In these cases, the roofing membrane must again partially be removed, so that the entire fastening process difficult is.
- roofing membranes are made up of interconnected individual Continuous filaments built up.
- the adhesive layer in the surface of the roofing membrane can be a better connection opposite the adhesive layer with the individual continuous filaments a double-sided adhesive strip of the prior art can be achieved.
- By activating the adhesive layer so to speak every single filament is surrounded by an adhesive layer be and glued to elements of the roof. Clear the efficiency of this attachment compared to an attachment using double-sided adhesive tape to improve the is only placed on the outer surface of the roofing membrane.
- the adhesive layer partially at edge areas and / or central areas of the roofing membrane is formed.
- the adhesive layer in the roofing membrane will save achieved by adhesives that are beneficial to manufacturing in itself and the manufacturing costs. It is ensured, that the adhesive layer properly on all sides of the roofing membrane according to the invention is attached.
- the in marginal areas The adhesive layer provided on the roofing membrane enables quick connection to each other individual roofing membrane sections, some of them overlapping in the roof area can be arranged to a larger Cover the area of the sloping roof.
- the adhesive layer is can be activated thermally.
- heat radiation can be excite individual molecules of the adhesive layer so that a connection the roofing membrane can be created with elements of the roof.
- Corresponding areas of the adhesive layer could, for example be blown with hot air, so that a kind of welding process comes about in this area.
- adhesive components can also be used with increasing and / or decreasing Ambient temperature increase the adhesive effect.
- the adhesive layer is through one Moisture contact can be activated.
- the artisan can single Moisten the roofing membrane with moisture, which reduces the adhesive effect is started. The roofing membrane is fastened then particularly easy to carry out.
- the adhesive layer is covered by a removable protective film the accidental activation of the adhesive layer can be avoided become.
- the removable protective film also identifies those places of the roofing membrane where the adhesive layer is formed is or can be activated.
- the attachment according to the invention can in particular with a roofing membrane can be combined, made of polyethylene film or PVC film is made. Also in such high quality roofing membranes
- the adhesive layer according to the invention can have a high tear strength to get integrated. Through the gluing process can be done In addition, a hydrophobic layer can be created on the roofing membrane. In addition, care must be taken to ensure that the adhesive layer is as possible is flame retardant.
- the adhesive layer can also be applied to the roofing membrane. Make sure that the adhesive layer permanently connects to the roofing membrane.
- a roof 10 is shown that is composed of individual elements. Thermal protection measures also affect several function-related layers.
- an inner cladding 12 is followed by a moisture-impermeable roof membrane 13.
- a moisture-impermeable roof membrane 13 Between the rafters 14 and roof membrane 13 there are two layers 15 and 16 made of thermal insulation material.
- Another roofing membrane 17 is provided over the rafters 14. Counter battens 18 are fastened over the roofing membrane 17, on which the supporting battens 19 are fixed in order to be able to hold a final layer of roof tiles 20.
- the roofing membranes 13 and 17 have an integrated surface Adhesive layer, which is used to attach the roofing membranes 13 and 17 can be activated. For this reason, the roofing membrane is 17th by gluing their underside 21 to tops 22 of the rafters 14 attachable. Neither on the underside 21 of the roofing membrane 17 nor a separate adhesive must be on the top 22 of the rafters 14 be applied.
- the underside can also be used in a corresponding manner 23 of the roofing membrane 13 on the layer 16 made of thermal insulation material be fixed. Additional fasteners such as Nails, that could damage the roofing membranes are no longer necessary.
- roofing membrane does not depend on the arrangement or combination of different Elements of the roof 10 is limited, but also between other layers of a roof can be laid and fastened.
- the roofing membrane 13, as shown enlarged in FIG. 2 is composed of individual roofing membrane sections 13 'to 13'''.
- the roofing membrane sections 13 'to 13''' are arranged such that their edge areas overlap.
- the activatable adhesive layers 24 to 27 provided in the edge areas make it possible to permanently connect the roofing membrane sections 13 'to 13''' to one another, so that the roofing membrane 13 can reliably seal roof areas throughout.
- adhesive layers 24 to 27 are formed in both superimposed sides of the roofing sheets 13 'to 13'''. For fastening the roofing membrane sections 13 'to 13''' it may also be sufficient under certain circumstances if only one side has an adhesive layer 24 to 27.
- a roofing membrane 30 is made of a flexible plastic film which can be adapted to different contours.
- An adhesive layer 32 is integrated in the surface 31 of the roofing membrane 30 and can be activated by the craftsman as required.
- the adhesive layer 32 is embossed in the roofing membrane 30 only in the edge regions 33 and 34 of the roofing membrane 30.
- the adhesive layer 32 can also fill the entire surface 31. Due to the contact with moisture, the adhesive layer 32 becomes reactive, so that an adhesive connection with a corresponding counter surface can occur. To avoid undesired occurrence of this effect, it is also possible to cover the areas of the adhesive layer 32 with a protective film. In the state before laying, the roofing membrane 30 is rolled up or folded up.
- the roofing membrane 40 is composed of three different layers. However, it is also conceivable to select a different number of layers, for example two or more, the number being able to be matched to the use and the local conditions.
- the top layer 41 is followed by a diffusion membrane 42 which is covered by a protective layer 43.
- An adhesive layer (self-adhesive film) 44 is covered by a thin protective film 45, so that the protective film 45 must be removed before the adhesive process.
- the adhesive layer 44 and the protective film 45 should be designed such that these layers 44, 45 are perfectly integrated into the roofing membrane 40 and the adhesive layer 44 is integrated as level as possible to the layers 41 to 43 in order to carry out later laying and bonding of the roofing membrane 40 smoothly to be able to.
