Abstract

L'emballage en carton, notamment en carton ondulé comportant une partie formant contenant (2) et une partie formant couvercle abattant (3) avec un volet de fermeture (31), et un moyen de verrouillage du volet sur une paroi (22) du contenant constitué d'un ruban (27) adhésif double face, est caractérisé en ce que ledit volet comporte une languette (32) formant amorce de rupture disposée sur un bord latéral au niveau du ruban adhésif lorsque le volet est verrouillé permettant l'arrachement du carton le long dudit ruban. <IMAGE>

Description

L'invention se rapporte aux emballages en carton notamment en carton ondulé comprenant un contenant et un couvercle solidaire de celui-ci.
Pour rendre le couvercle solidaire de son contenant on peut utiliser divers moyens tels que par exemple la colle, les agrafes, des clips. La présente invention concerne le moyen de fermeture par adhésif.
Il existe des emballages en carton pour envoi postal de paquet, dont le couvercle est pourvu d'une bande adhésive revêtue d'une pellicule de protection que l'on retire au moment de la fermeture du paquet. En retirant la pellicule de protection, qui est un papier siliconé par exemple, on met à nu la substance adhésive par contact. On rabat le couvercle sur la paroi correspondante du contenant et on y applique la surface adhésivée pour assurer la liaison. L'adhésif assure ainsi le verrouillage du couvercle en position. Dans des applications du type emballage postal par exemple, on souhaite que le collage soit permanent : toute réouverture du paquet entraíne la détérioration de la liaison, et l'adhésif n'est pas réutilisable. On dit que la fermeture est «inviolable ».
Au lieu du couvercle, on peut prévoir de ménager la surface adhésivée avec sa pellicule de protection, sur la paroi du contenant sur laquelle on applique le volet de fermeture du couvercle.
Le fabricant de ce type d'emballages réalise par exemple un moyen de verrouillage par adhésif, en déposant sur le carton ondulé un ruban adhésif double face pourvu de sa pellicule de protection sur une face. Ce type de ruban est communément disponible dans le commerce auprès des fournisseurs d'adhésif, et l'opération est en outre aisément mise en oeuvre sur onduleuse par exemple au moyen d'un galet applicateur.
Pour faciliter l'ouverture du paquet, il est connu de prévoir un moyen, tel qu'une bande d'arrachement, par lequel on déchire l'enveloppe en carton sur une longueur suffisante pour libérer le couvercle ou bien ménager une ouverture. Dans le cas d'une bande d'arrachement, un mode de réalisation consiste à coller un ruban étroit sur la face interne du couvercle, parallèlement et à distance de son axe d'articulation, avec aménagement d'un moyen de préhension accessible de l'extérieur par l'utilisateur. Un autre moyen d'ouverture simple consiste en un pointillé avec des perforations disposées selon un trait discontinu.
L'invention se propose de réaliser un emballage combinant les deux fonctions par un moyen simple.
Conformément à l'invention, un emballage en carton, notamment en carton ondulé comportant une partie formant contenant et une partie formant couvercle abattant avec un volet de fermeture, et un moyen de verrouillage du volet sur une paroi du contenant constitué d'un ruban adhésif double face, est caractérisé en ce que ledit volet comporte une languette formant amorce de rupture disposée sur un bord latéral au niveau du ruban adhésif lorsque le volet est verrouillé permettant l'arrachement du carton le long dudit ruban.
Grâce à cette disposition, on évite la mise en place d'une bande d'arrachement séparée.
Conformément à une autre caractéristique le ruban adhésif double face est appliqué sur ladite paroi du contenant, parallèlement à l'axe d'articulation du couvercle, de façon à assurer le verrouillage du volet.
Conformément à une autre caractéristique ladite languette est obtenue par découpe dudit volet parallèlement à la direction du ruban adhésif à une distance du bord de telle façon que lorsque le volet est verrouillé, la découpe soit disposée entre le ruban adhésif et l'articulation du couvercle. Ainsi la languette est formée par une portion du volet située au niveau du ruban adhésif que l'on peut tirer parallèlement à la direction de ce dernier. On déchire ainsi le carton le long de cette ligne, et il se produit un délaminage du carton le long du ruban adhésif.
On décrit ci-après un mode de réalisation de l'invention.
La figure représente un emballage en carton conforme à l'invention.
On a représenté un emballage qui, de façon courante, est obtenu par mise en volume d'un flan de carton convenablement rainé et découpé. La réalisation de l'emballage ne fait pas partie de l'invention. Celui-ci peut être obtenu de toute façon connue de l'homme du métier.
L'emballage 1 comprend un contenant 2 et un couvercle, auquel il est solidaire, articulé au contenant 1 le long d'un bord transversal 23 Le couvercle comprend un volet transversal 31 articulé sur le couvercle 3 parallèlement à l'articulation 23.
La face avant 22 du contenant 2 comprend un moyen adhésif constitué par un ruban adhésif double face 21 que l'on a appliqué parallèlement au fond. Avant fermeture l'adhésif est protégé par une pellicule du type papier siliconé qui est aisément pellable.
On a ménagé un moyen formant languette 32 sur le volet 31 avec une entaille réalisée parallèlement au bord libre du volet à une distance de celui-ci au moins égale à la largeur du ruban 21 suffisante pour former une languette chevauchant le ruban 21.
Pour fermer et verrouiller l'emballage on rabat le couvercle sur le contenant 2, et on applique le volet 31 sur le ruban adhésif préalablement mis à nu. Ensuite, on ne peut ouvrir l'emballage sans détruire la liaison puisqu'il s'agit d'un emballage du type « inviolable ». Pour ouvrir on tire sur la languette dans une direction parallèle à celle du ruban 21 ce qui entraíne la déchirure du carton du volet 31 le long de la ligne 21 et le délaminage entre le ruban 21 et une couverture du carton.

Claims (3)

  1. Emballage en carton, notamment en carton ondulé comportant une partie formant contenant (2) et une partie formant couvercle abattant (3) avec un volet (31) de fermeture, et un moyen de verrouillage du volet sur une paroi (22) du contenant constitué d'un ruban (21) adhésif double face, caractérisé en ce que ledit volet comporte une languette (32) formant amorce de rupture disposée sur un bord latéral au niveau du ruban adhésif lorsque le volet est verrouillé permettant l'arrachement du carton le long dudit ruban.
  2. Emballage selon la revendication 1 caractérisé en ce que le ruban adhésif double face est appliqué sur ladite paroi (22) du contenant, parallèlement à l'axe d'articulation du couvercle, de façon à assurer le verrouillage du volet.
  3. Emballage selon la revendication 1 ou 2 caractérisé en ce que ladite languette est obtenue par découpe dudit volet parallèlement à la direction du ruban adhésif à une distance du bord de façon que lorsque le volet est verrouillé, la découpe soit disposée entre le ruban adhésif et l'articulation du couvercle.
