Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine als Abschottung dienende Raumtrennwand (1) mit wenigstens zwei doppelwandigen Trennwandelementen, von denen ein erstes Trennwandelement (10) von der Decke abgehängt und ein zweites Trennwandelement aufgestellt ist und wobei an dem ersten Trennwandelement ein Dichtungselement (30) befestigt ist, das in eine Ausnehmung am oberen Ende (37) des zweiten Trennwandelements vorsteht.
Die Erfindung schafft eine bezüglich des Brandschutzes wesentlich verbesserte Raumtrennwand mit erhöhtem Wärmeübergangswiderstand, in dem die außenliegenden Wandteile des doppelwandigen ersten Trennwandelements seitlich über die Verbindung des Dichtungselements mit dem ersten Trennwandelement hinaus gegen das obere Ende des zweiten Trennwandelements hin vorstehen.
Zur weiteren Erhöhung der Feuerbeständigkeit ist das Dichtungselement (30) an einem Verbindungselement (14) befestigt, das die Innenseiten der außenliegenden Wandteile miteinander verbindet. Zusätzlich kann auf wenigstens einer Seite des Dichtungselements ein hitzebeständiges Zusatzelement mit hohem Wärmewiderstand angebracht sein, welches zusammen mit den außenliegenden Wandteilen mit Metall beplankt sein kann, so daß die aus den Trennwandelementen aufgebaute Raumtrennwand die Bedingungen der Feuerwiderstandsklasse F30 erfüllt.
