Abstract

Gasbrenner mit einem Brennerkörper (10), an dem oder in dem die Verbrennung eines Brenngases erfolgt, wobei der Brennerkörper von einem Rahmen (20;70) umfaßt ist, der diesen seitlich zumindest teilweise überdeckt und mit einer Abschirmung (20) über dessen abgasseitige Oberfläche vorsteht, wobei die Abschirmung (20) des Brennerkörpers mit Durchbrüchen versehen ist. Eine Minimierung der Kohlenmonoxidentwicklung im Abgas wird dann unterstützt, wenn vorgesehen ist, daß zur Bildung der Durchbrüche Lappen (20;41) von der Abschirmung (20) freigestanzt oder freigeschert und von dieser abgebogen sind.
