Definitions
- the invention relates to a parachute according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Umbrellas of the type mentioned are known several times, for example from DE 32 29 776 A1. That one The umbrella described has a telescopic mast, of a hollow lower mast part and one in this longitudinally displaceable and rotatable about the mast axis arranged upper mast part, on, the mutual Longitudinally displaceable and rotatable by means of a link is adjustable or lockable.
- On the jib is a boom by means of a joint and extendable and around a vertical to the mast axis Tilt axis of the joint arranged tiltable.
- the boom carries a collapsible end at the end facing away from the mast Umbrella, and the joint is with a locking device provided, by means of which all movements of the joint are detachable or blockable.
- the known joint has the disadvantage that when the Tilting of the boom the risk of accidental Folding down the wing end on the umbrella side. This not only makes handling the screen more difficult or even impossible, but there is also a risk of injury for the operator.
- the disadvantages will be further enlarged by the fact that the release of the tiltability of the boom with a release of the longitudinal displacement goes hand in hand, which increases the additional risk of slipping out of the boom results from the joint.
- the object of the invention is to provide a parachute kind of improve so that a simpler and safer handling is possible.
- the object is achieved by the parachute of claim 1, which is a safe and jerk-free extension and extension of the boom permitted.
- the boom can be extended and retracted can be carried out safely and without jerks, as tipping of the outrigger carrying the umbrella onto the operator is excluded and thus a risk of injury to the Operator is banned.
- the input and Extending and tipping the boom is easier and more convenient.
- the design of the joint with an open design is also for optimal surface processing such as electrostatic finishing or coating particularly suitable. It also makes assembly and maintenance of the components easier.
- Claim 2 describes a particularly secure locking device, by means of which the angle of the boom also reliable without excessive tightening of the tensioning device can be locked.
- Claim 7 describes a preferred embodiment of the Clamping device that is easy and safe to use allowed and in particular an undesirable complete Unscrewing the clamping screw and the risk of accidental Disassembly of the joint is excluded.
- Figures 1 and 2 show an embodiment of a Free arm umbrella with a telescopic mast 2, the a hollow first mast part 4 and a second Mast part 6, the two mast parts by means of a link 8 connected to each other lockable are.
- the second mast part 6 is longitudinally displaceable in the first mast part 4 and against it around the common axis of the two mast parts rotatable.
- a boom 10 is by means of a joint arranged at the top of the mast 2 12 retractable and extendable.
- the joint 12 also allows a tilting of the boom 10 about a perpendicular to the mast axis standing tilt axis 14.
- the boom 10 carries a collapsible screen 18.
- the boom 10 In the working position of the parachute are the telescopic Stand mast 2 and the boom 10 approximately or fully extended, the boom 10 an approximate horizontal tilt position.
- the second mast part 6 In the resting position of the Parasol is the second mast part 6 largely in the inserted first mast part 4 and the boom 10 is located itself in the retracted position and approximately vertical Tilting.
- the boom has 10 shows a curved course; but they are also straight trained boom can be used.
- the advantage of the curved boom is that given the dimensions of the screen 18 between the Rest position and the working position of the parachute smaller tilt angle range is to be traversed than in the case of a straight boom.
- the first clamping device 20 has an approximately semi-cylindrical one Inner section 26 of an associated semi-cylindrical Section at an end region 28 of the first Mast part 4 encompasses.
- a longitudinal fixation 30, which is in the embodiment shown as a rib-like projection 32 of the inner section 26 is configured, the projection 32 in an associated groove of the first mast part 4 engages.
- the projection on the first mast part 4 and the Groove can be arranged on the inner portion 26.
- the second clamping device 22 has one with a non-rotationally symmetrical one Profile-provided inner section 34 on the one on the outside with a corresponding Profile, for example a cylindrical profile with each other opposite flattened second mast part 6 embraces. Due to the non-rotationally symmetrical profiling the second clamp 22 becomes a rotation of the second Mast part 6 with respect to the link 8 both in clamped as well as in the released state of the second Clamping device 22 prevented. By solving the first Clamping device 20 becomes the rotatability of the connecting member 8 and thus the second mast part 6 about the mast axis released to the first mast part 4. By loosening the second clamping device 22, the longitudinal displacement, i.e.
- the connecting link 8 thus allows by actuating the first or second clamping device Longitudinal displacement or rotation of the two mast parts 4 and 6 independently.
- the first clamping device 20 has a first clamping jaw 36 and a second clamping jaw 38 and the second clamping device 22 has a first jaw 40 and a second Jaw 42 on.
- the first jaws 36 and 40 are as Parts of the connecting portion 24 are formed, and the second jaws are 38-1, 42-1 at their first ends by means of swivel connections 44, 44 'with the corresponding first jaws 36, 40 pivotally connected and by means of Clamping means 46, 46 'against the corresponding first jaws be pressed.
