Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de faire fonctionner un brûleur d'angle (2) destiné à un dispositif de combustion tangentielle, selon lequel, par l'intermédiaire dudit brûleur d'angle, au moins un courant (3) de charbon pulvérisé et d'air primaire, et éventuellement un autre courant d'air de combustion et/ou de gaz de fumée recyclé sont introduits dans la chambre de combustion, en étant dirigés tangentiellement vers un cercle (4) imaginaire sensiblement horizontal se trouvant dans ladite chambre de combustion du dispositif de combustion tangentielle. Au moins un autre courant d'air (6) (courant d'air de paroi) peut être introduit dans la chambre de combustion, avec un angle de décalage (α), pouvant être réglé par l'intermédiaire d'une buse (9) du brûleur d'angle, par rapport au courant de charbon pulvérisé et d'air primaire, en direction d'une paroi (7) de la chambre de combustion. Pour que la possibilité de régler ledit angle de décalage soit améliorée, il est prévu que cet angle de décalage (α) soit réglé au moyen d'un mélange proportionnel d'au moins deux jets d'air partiels (16, 17) présentant des vitesses d'écoulement différentes, le premier (16) de ces courants partiels s'écoulant en ligne droite dans l'orifice de sortie (10) de la buse (9), et le second (17) pénétrant, avant l'orifice de sortie, et à un certain angle, dans le premier courant partiel. Les vitesses d'écoulement desdits courants partiels peuvent être modifiées.
