Abstract

Bei einem z.B. in Form eines Tambourins, von Bongos, Djemben, Congas oder dergleichen mit einem insbesondere oben offenen Resonanzkörper (2), wobei über die obere Öffnung ein Fell (3) gespannt ist, welches eine Kunststoffolie (11) umfaßt, die mittels eines Spannrings (6) mit gleichbleibender Spannung festgelegt ist, wobei das Fell (3) unmittelbar über den Resonanzkörper (2) gespannt ist, und wobei der Resonanzkörper (2) im Bereich der oberen Öffnung eine Ringnut (7) aufweist und der Spannring (6) unter elastischer Aufweitung über die Oberseite des Resonanzkörpers (2) in die Ringnut (7) hier durch das Fell (3) spannend gepreßt ist, ist vorgesehen, daß parallel zu der wenigstens einen Kunststoffolie (11) wenigstens ein Vliesmaterial (10) angeordnet ist, welches ebenfalls durch den Spannring (6) gespannt wird, und welches mit der Kunststoffolie (11) nicht verliebt ist. <IMAGE>

Description

Die Erfindung richtet sich auf ein Schlaginstrument z.B. in Form eines Tambourins, von Bongos, Djemben, Congas oder dergleichen mit einem insbesondere oben offenen Resonanzkörper, wobei über die obere Öffnung ein Fell gespannt ist welches eine Kunststoffolie umfaßt, die mittels eines Spannrings mit gleichbleibender Spannung festgelegt ist wobei das Fell unmittelbar über den Resonanzkörper gespannt ist, und wobei der Resonanzkörper im Bereich der oberen Öffnung eine Ringnut aufweist und der Spannring unter elastischer Aufweitung über die Oberseite des Resonanzkörpers in die Ringnut hierdurch das Fell spannend gepreßt ist.
Ein derartiges Schlaginstrument ist aus DE 296 13 409 U bekannt. Solche Schlaginstrumente haben sich in der Praxis außerordentlich bewährt, insbesondere für die Herstellung von kostengünstigen Schlaginstrumenten für die musikalische Schul- und Vorschulerziehung.
Es ist auch schon bekannt, Laminate aus einem Vliesmaterial mit einer Kunststoffolie als Fell zu verwenden um auf diese Weise die Festigkeit des Fells zu erhöhen. Dabei ist der Begriff

Laminat" so zu verstehen, daß Vliesmaterial und Kunststoffolie vollflächig miteinander verleimt sind.
Bekannt ist es auch, zwei Lagen von Kunststoffolien als Fell zu verwenden um auf diese Weise die effektive Dicke des Fells zu erhöhen.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Schlaginstrument der in Betracht stehend: Art zwar einerseits kostengünstig herstellbar zu machen, andererseits aber auch eine ganz spezifische, neue Klangwirkung zu erzielen.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß parallel zu der Kunststoffolie ein Vliesmaterial angeordnet ist, welches ebenfalls durch den Spannring gespannt wird, und welches mit der Kunststoffolie nicht verklebt ist.
Der Kern der Erfindung liegt also darin, ein als solches bekanntes Spannsystem zu kombinieren mit einem Fell, das aus einer unverleimten Kombination von Kunststoffolie und Vliesmaterial besteht. Hierdurch wird nicht nur die herkömmlicherweise erforderliche Vorfabrikation eines Laminats er-spart, sondern auch ein besonders angenehmer, charakteristischer, weicher Klang erzielt, wobei es möglich ist, ganz bestimmte Klangfarben dadurch zu realisieren, daß man bestimmte Vliesmaterialien und Folien, insbesondere Vliesmaterialdicken und Foliendicken, beliebig miteinander kombiniert.
Bemerkenswert ist, daß eine solche Fell-Kombination in Verbindung mit dem vorgesehenen Spannsystem eine sehr hohe Dauerspannkraft aufweist, d.h. bei dauerhafter Belastung mit hohen Kräften senkrecht zur Felloberfläche wird nur eine sehr geringe bleibende Deformation oder ein Nachgeben des Fells beobachtet.
In weiterer Ausgestaltung kann vorgesehen sein, daß das Vliesmaterial ein Flash-Schmelzspinnmaterial, insbesondere ein Polyethylen-Fasermaterial ist.
Als Kunststoffolie wird vorzugsweise eine Polyesterfolie eingesetzt.
Nachfolgend wird die Erfindung anhand eines bevorzugten Ausführungsbeispieles in Verbindung mit der Zeichnung näher beschrieben. Dabei zeigen

Ein in der Zeichnung dargestelltes Schlaginstrument 1 umfaßt einen Resonanzkörper 2 mit einer im wesentlichen zylinderförmigen Grundform, über den ein Fell 3 gespannt ist. Der Resonanzkörper 2 weist Durchbrechungen 4 auf, in welchen in an sich bekannter Weise Schellen 5 gelagert sind.
Das Fell 3 ist mittels eines im Querschnitt runden Spannrings 6 aus Federstahl von beispielsweise 4 mm Durchmesser festgelegt. Dementsprechend ist dieser Spannring 6 in radialer Richtung elastisch aufweitbar. Zur Festlegung des Spannrings 6 am Resonanzkörper 2 dient eine im Querschnitt halbkreisförmige Ringnut 7. Der Außendurchmesser des Resonanzkörpers 2 ist an der Oberseite etwa 0,8 mm größer als der Innendurchmesser des Spannrings 6.
Zum Aufbringen des Fells wird der obere Rand 8 des Resonanzkörpers 2, der nach außen hin eine Abschrägung 9 aufweist, mit Klebstoff versehen. Dann wird das Fell 3 über die Oberseite des Resonanzkörpers 2 gespannt und mittels einer hydraulischen Presse wird der Spannring 6 von oben her aufgedrückt, wodurch das Fell, ohne daß irgendwelche Zusatzmaßnahmen erforderlich wären, gespannt wird. Der Spannring 6 gleitet über die Schrägfläche 9 und gelangt dann in die Ringnut 7 und sitzt dort fest, ohne daß es irgendeiner zusätzlichen Verankerung bedürfte, insbesondere sind keine Schrauben oder dergleichen erforderlich.
Während man herkömmlicherweise für das Fell 3 beispielsweise die Kombination eines Polyesterfilms mit auflaminiertem Wachspapier verwendet hat, ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, daß das Fell 3 aus einer Kunststoffolie 11 und aus einer Vließschicht 10 besteht, die die gleiche Größe aufweisen, parallel zueinander angeordnet, jedoch nicht verliebt sind.

Claims (4)

  1. Schlaginstrument, z.B. in Form eines Tambourins, von Bongos, Djemben, Congas oder dergleichen mit einem insbesondere oben offenen Resonanzkörper, wobei über die obere Öffnung ein Fell gespannt ist, welches eine Kunststoffolie umfaßt die mittels eines Spannrings mit gleichbleibender Spannung festgelegt ist, wobei das Fell unmittelbar über den Resonanzkörper gespannt ist, und wobei der Resonanzkörper im Bereich der oberen Öffnung eine Ringnut aufweist und der Spannring unter elastischer Aufweitung über die Oberseite des Resonanzkörpers in die Ringnut hier durch das Fell spannend gepreßt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß parallel zu der wenigstens einen Kunststoffolie (11) wenigstens ein Vliesmaterial (10) angeordnet ist, welches ebenfalls durch den Spannring (6) gespannt wird, und welches mit der Kunststoffolie (10) nicht verliebt ist.
  2. Schlaginstrument nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Vliesmaterial ein Flash-Schmelzspinnmaterial ist.
  3. Schlaginstrument nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Vliesmaterial durch ein Polyethylen-Fasermaterial gebildet ist.
  4. Schlaginstrument nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kunststoffolie eine Polyesterfolie ist.
