Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Gasbrenner mit einem Brennkörper, der von einer porösen Struktur zumindest teilweise durchdrungen ist, und in dem ein Brenngas-Luftgemisch verbrennbar ist. Zur Verwirklichung geringer CO-Emissionen ist es erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, daß sich die quer zur Strömungsrichtung des Brenngas-Luftgemisches verlaufende Querschnittsfläche der Reaktionszone des Brennerkörpers in Strömungsrichtung zumindest in einem Teilbereich des Brennerkörpers vergrößert.
