Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Strahlungsbrenner (1) zur flammlosen Verbrennung von gas- oder dampfförmigen Brennstoff-Luft-Gemischen, bestehend aus einem, mit einer Brennstoff-Luft-Zuleitung (8) verbundenen, einen Gemischraum (9) zumindest einseitig abschließenden Gehäuse (2) und einer an der Gehäuseunterseite angeordneten, vorzugsweise keramischen Brennerplatte (11) sowie einem im Abstand zur Brennerplatte (11) angeordneten Vorstrahlelement (24). Ein derartiger Strahlungsbrenner (1) wird hinsichtlich des Vorstrahlelementes mit einer höheren Lebensdauer und einer anpassbaren Formgebung sowie einem höheren Wirkungsgrad dadurch verbessert, daß das Vorstrahlelement (24) im wesentlichen aus keramischen Material ausgebildet ist.
