If the lock was already in an unlocked state, LAB 40 would act in a vacuum, because the pin 20 c would have already been moved clockwise.
  • the user can open the door by acting on the exterior handle of door, which causes, through the opening rod 35, tilting the LOE 33 clockwise, and therefore the rise in the direction of the arrow ⁇ 'of the BOE 38 which thus raises the active portion 13 of the pawl 5, and releases the latch 3 which swings automatically in the position illustrated in Figure 2, under the effect of the compression force of the door seal, the door strike 8 being, somehow ejected from the drain 9.
  • the user will have tilted the child locking lever 31 in the position of FIG. 5, for reasons of safety vis-à-vis children. To this end, it may push the end 31 b of the child lock lever that is accessible on the door edge.
  • the BOI 29 In the position of FIG. 5, the BOI 29 is in a disengaged position with respect to the pawl, so that a child acting on the interior door handle cannot cause the door to open. Indeed, although no organ blocks the movement of LOI 24 or BOI 29, the latter will move in a vacuum next to the active portion 13 of the pawl 5.
  • the child will simultaneously unlock the lock from the outside, thanks to the intermediate lever 22 which rotates clockwise the wheel 20, by acting on the pin 20 a , which allows a outside person to open the rear door.
  • the intermediate lever 22 will act in a vacuum because the pin 20 will have already turned the necessary race.
