Definitions
- the invention relates to a rectangular spinning can with a bottom and the Head essentially cuboid connecting jacket, which from the larger Rectangular areas correspond to the longitudinal walls and the smaller rectangular areas corresponding end walls.
- Spinning cans are used to hold sliver during the Processing, e.g. between card and route as well as between route and flyer or spinning machine.
- the standing rectangular cans have the cuboid shape of an upright, relatively flat brick, the dimensions of floor or Head area is on the order of approximately 1,000 mm x 220 mm.
- the height the upright can can be approximately 1,000 mm.
- the known device has several disadvantages. Because the relatively long base plate only is carried on the pins or handles attached to their longitudinal ends they have considerable inherent stability with corresponding manufacturing costs; otherwise the plate cannot bend. The above Pins can then slide off the lifting arms of a lifting device. If also tilting the base plate around its parallel to the larger rectangular edges want to avoid lying longitudinal axis, the pins must if necessary With the help of appropriately stable guide rails of the slots secured against rotation become. Such guides additionally increase the effort.
- the alternative handles protruding from the slots do not slide off the lifting arms and generally prevent them but a tilting of the base plate, manufacture and assembly of the handles complex, the handles can easily break off. After all, the effort is when assembling a jug with two slots considerably because the jacket consists of two half shells to be produced separately, which over frame parts at the top and bottom of the jug.
- a decisive disadvantage of the known jug is that it can be lifted and lowering a lifting device that grips both pins or handles at the same time is required, which acts on both end walls of the pot at the same time and from below in the same direction against the pins or handles ..
- This in practice Conditional difficulties are understandable when you consider that the pitchers are usually moved in the direction of their greater longitudinal extent, so that the lifting device is usually pivoted completely under the bottom of the can or must be lowered so that the can in the gripping position of the lifting device is to be inserted. After positioning the jug there are also additional ones - time and space consuming - movements of the lifting device required, before the actual filling process can be switched on.
- the invention has for its object to a slotted rectangular spinning can create that with less effort than the well-known two-slot jug and is to be handled.
- the solution according to the invention exists for the rectangular spinning can mentioned above with an essentially cuboid connecting the bottom and the head thereof Coat in that the bottom and the head each have a stabilizing effect Frame, namely a bottom and head frame, and that the jacket only one, going from the floor frame to the head frame Slot.
- This continuous slot is preferably in an end wall of the cuboidal jacket provided.
- the jacket since the jacket has only one (vertical) slot, it can be made in one piece, that is e.g. from a single sheet or plate.
- the The jacket erected in the shape of a cuboid, connects the floor frame with the head frame ..
- the frame construction with a one-piece jacket makes the some conventional two-slot cans (cf. DE 43 01 211 A1) for reasons of stability required cross struts superfluous.
- An inventive Jug with exactly one slot is even more economical to produce than a conventional one Jug without a slot, as the jug material does not consist of just one plate or roll material can be produced, but also the technically complex Connection of the jacket to a closed perimeter is omitted.
- a base plate can be loose means movable between the floor frame and the head frame.
- the Bottom plate is said to be approximately at the can filling station of a sliver supplying machine up to the head frame and roughly proportional to the growth of the stacks of sliver deposited in the can are gradually lowered, so that at the end the whole jug is filled with evenly compressed sliver.
- Lifting device is provided, which, however, is much simpler than the conventional can act on both end walls simultaneously attacking lifting device.
- a lifting device to be used according to the invention preferably has one vertically movably driven lifting mechanism for continuously exercising defined contact pressure on the sliver.
- On the lifting mechanism is a single horizontally elongated lifting mandrel - also called lifting sword - with approximately the length of the larger rectangular side of the jug on one side (that is with one of its longitudinal ends) and fixed non-rotatably about its longitudinal axis.
- this one lifting mandrel is to be carried by one, in an end wall of the To extend the slit provided and accordingly narrow (possibly foldable) his.
- the mandrel is to be carried and supported within the jug the entire base plate - possibly with a load on it - so with be coupled to the base plate so that it cannot tip over the longitudinal axis.
- the Mandrel should hold the base plate non-rotatably, preferably positively or wear.
- the lifting mandrel should cover the entire base plate Support length so that the plate cannot bend. A tipping over an axis of the base plate running parallel to the longitudinal direction can, for example thereby be excluded that the lifting mandrel with parallel in the direction cantilevers attached to the surface of the base plate how to set up fish bones.
- a surprising result of the invention is that the can itself to a certain extent on the (single) mandrel impaled ", postponed "or and that the lifting process can be initiated immediately after opening - without the lifting movements of the grippers or lifting arms assigned to the end walls required for two-slot cans.
- the dead time caused by changing the cans is correspondingly reduced.
- a lifting tube extending over the larger rectangular length of the plate is attached to the latter, one (open) longitudinal end of which is intended to cover one slot at each intended height of the base plate, so that the mandrel - first with its free end - must be inserted non-rotatably into the jack tube.
- Lifting tube is understood to mean any receptacle into which the lifting mandrel can be inserted on one side and in which the mandrel is held so that the base plate is supported so that it is stable over its entire length and is stable against tilting. so that the mandrel can push into the tube from the outside through the slot without damaging the jacket, but it should not protrude into the slot (or extend through the slot).
- the longitudinal end of the lifting tube can be flush with the adjacent edge of the base plate.
- the mandrel is formed as a square and the jack receives an internal cross-section, in which the square insert straight (non-rotatable) is.
- the jack receives an internal cross-section, in which the square insert straight (non-rotatable) is.
- any other polygonal shape can also be provided become.
- An oval outer cross-section can also be used for handling and wear of the mandrel and the inner cross section of the lifting tube.
- the desired non-rotatability of the lifting mandrel and lifting tube is also ensured by a Tongue / groove connection reached.
- the mandrel can have a groove, into which one is provided on or in the latter when the mandrel is inserted into the tube Cone grips.
- a lifting tube of the type described attached to the base plate not only has Advantages in the aforementioned function as a coupling agent, rather it works at the same time mechanically stabilizing on the base plate as a whole. Since the lifting ear extends parallel to the larger rectangular side of the base plate, it closes - very similar to a long mandrel - a deflection of the base plate practically (even under load). The base plate itself can also be used accordingly less effort than before.
- the loose base plate is used for tilt-resistant pick-up can be assigned by the lifting mandrel.
- the invention can therefore also be defined based on the base plate. Then it affects a rectangular spinning can with a bottom with its head essentially cuboid connecting jacket, the jacket from the larger rectangular areas corresponding longitudinal walls and the smaller rectangular areas There are end walls and a loosely inserted base plate in the jug using a lifting device from the position near the bottom of the can a position close to the can head and vice versa.
- a lifting tube extending over its larger rectangular length is attached with at least one open longitudinal end and that the lifting device through a slit from the bottom to the top of the jug at least one of the end walls into the respective open longitudinal end of the lifting tube intervenes.
- the rectangular can 1 of FIG. 1 has a cuboid casing 2 with the larger rectangular areas corresponding longitudinal walls 3 and the smaller Rectangular faces corresponding end walls 4.
- the bottom and the head of the Rectangular can 1 each have a stabilizing frame, namely a bottom frame 5 and a head frame 6, on.
- the jacket 2 only one continuous from the bottom frame 5 to the head frame 6 Slot 7. As a rule, this single slot 7 is located in one of the End walls 4.
- a loose base plate 8 is provided within the can 1, which is in the rest position or with a full can 1 on the base frame 5 parallel to the can bottom 9.
- On the base plate 8 can have a lifting tube 10, preferably parallel to the can bottom 9 and attached parallel to the longitudinal walls 3.
- the lifting tube 10 has the Task to mechanically stabilize the base plate 8 and / or it serves if necessary as coupling means for a lifting device. For this reason an open longitudinal end 11 of the lifting tube 10 in each when filling or emptying the Can 1 provided the height of the base plate 8 with the slot 7 to cover come.
- the lifting device 15 has a vertically movably driven one Lifting mechanism 16, on which a horizontally elongated lifting mandrel 17 with approximately the (horizontal) length of the larger side of the rectangle (just under horizontal length of the longitudinal wall 3) on one side, that is to say with its fixed longitudinal end 18, is fixed non-rotatably.
- the other, e.g. under the base plate 8 too moving longitudinal end of the mandrel 17 is also referred to as the free longitudinal end 19.
- One lifting mandrel 17 is intended to be provided by one in an end wall 4 Slot 7 through to carry the entire base plate 8 - if necessary with load lying on it - to be able to be coupled non-rotatably.
- the coupling the two parts should not only raise and lower the base plate 8 allow, but also bending and tilting sideways around the Exclude longitudinal axis 12 of base plate 8 or lifting mandrel 17.
- This 3a is achieved, for example, by the lifting tube 10 and the lifting mandrel 17 with a rectangular cross section, so that the mandrel 17th straight, without jamming, to be inserted into the lifting tube 10.
- a groove 21 can be provided in the lifting mandrel 17, into which a in the lifting tube 10 attached pin 22 (when inserting the mandrel into the tube) engages.
- a in the lifting tube 10 attached pin 22 when inserting the mandrel into the tube.
- the desired one is evident mechanical stability of lifting tube 10 and lifting mandrel 17 even with a circular Mandrel cross section reached.
- the diameter of the lifting mandrel 17 can then be dimensioned accordingly small, so that the measured parallel to the floor 9 Width B (e.g. about 30 mm) of the slot must be made correspondingly small.
- Width B e.g. about 30 mm
- FIG. 3c shows a lifting mandrel 17, on which pivotable boom 23 so are resiliently fastened so that, after being pushed through the slot 7 Spread herringbone parallel to the can bottom 9 and tilt the can bottom 8 exclude about the longitudinal axis 12.
- the boom 23 should both during insertion into slot 7 as well as during extraction from the slot 7 - each in the backward direction - to the body of the mandrel can put on.
- a major advantage of the device described is that a Rectangular spinning can 1 on the mandrel 17 of a standing lifting device in the feed direction 19 can be opened.
- the lifting device 15 can thus alone moving can 1 can be positioned immovable overall. In any case it does not need to be moved when coupling with a rectangular spinning can 1.
- the coupling can be done by the Feed the jug in the direction of 19. When the jug 1 is fully open the mandrel 17 is opened, the respective lifting mechanism can operate immediately be set and bring the loose base plate 8 to the intended height.
