Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen drehbaren Schmuckring mit mindestens zwei konzentrisch gegeneinander verdrehbaren Ringteilen gemäss dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1. Die Erfindung betrifft insbesondere Fingerringe der genannten Art, Armreife, ringartige Schmuckelemente die an Halsketten getragen werden und dergleichen.
Drehbare Schmuckringe der genannten Art, insbesondere Ringe bei denen sich ein äusserer Ring auf einem inneren Ring ohne speziellen Mechanismus dreht, sind bekannt. So zeigt beispielsweise die Design-Registrierung DM/043 126 gemäss dem International Design Bulletin vom Februar 1998 einen aus drei Ringteilen bestehenden, mit eingelegten Edelsteinen verzierter drehbarer Fingerring. Die einzelnen Ringteile sind konzentrisch gegeneinander verdrehbar. Die gegenseitige Lagerung der Ringteile erfolgt über Gleitlager.
Schmuckringe dieser Art bestehen üblicherweise aus einem Edelmetall wie Gold, Silber, Platin, Palladium, Ruthenium etc oder auch geeigneten Edelmetalllegierungen. Edelmetalle und Edelmetallegierungen sind im allgemeinen relativ weich und gut verarbeitbar, haben aber auch den Nachteil, dass wegen deren Weichheit bei Gleitlagern im Laufe der Zeit ein zwar geringes aber doch merkliches Abschleifen von Edelmetall gegen Edelmetall stattfindet. Zu den Reibungswiderständen der Gleitlager treten also auch Abnützungserscheinungen.
Aus der DE-9402319-U ist ein Dekorsystem bekannt das auch zum Tragen am Körper vorgesehen ist und bei dem ein Ringteil gegenüber einem anderen Ringteil konzentrisch über ein Kugellager drehbar ist. Es wird erwähnt, dass für die Wälzelemente statt Kugeln auch Rollen vorgesehen sein können, derartige Lösungen sind aber nicht näher beschrieben.
Ähnliche Schmuckringe mit gegenseitig verdrehbaren Ringteilen und Kugellagern sind beispielsweise auch aus der US-2 060 345 und aus der FR-824 527 bekannt, wobei gemäss US-2 060 345 auch gelagerte Scheiben, d.h. Rollen im eigentlichen Sinn, anstelle von Kugeln verwendet werden können.
Es wurde gefunden, dass neuartige Schmuckringe ermöglicht werden, wenn der Aussenring oder die Aussenringe über mindestens ein Walzenlager mit überstehenden Walzen verdrehbar ist. Mit derart ausgebildeten Walzen können diese selbst eine dekorative Funktion übernehmen, z.B. indem sie seitlich mit Schmucksteinen versehen werden.
Bei den bekannten drehbaren Ringen ist dies nicht möglich, da deren Wälzelemente lediglich für funktionelle Zwecke ausgebildet und von aussen praktisch nicht sichtbar sind.
Wenn die überstehenden Walzen an den Stirnseiten mit Schmucksteinen versehen sind, kann die gut sichtbare Drehung der Walzen bei Verdrehung der Ringteile die geschliffenen Schmucksteine durch die Brillanz des Facettenspiels besonders gut zur Geltung bringen.
Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung werden nachstehend anhand von Zeichnungen näher erläutert. Es zeigen

einen drehbaren Schmuckring mit überstehenden Walzen und mehreren Aussenringen.
Figur 1 zeigt einen drehbaren Schmuckring mit einem als Innenring 21 ausgebildeten ersten Ringteil, einem als Aussenring 22 ausgebildeten zweiten Ringteil und überstehenden Walzen 23. Die überstehenden Walzen 23 sind mit einer ringförmig verlaufenden Ausnehmung versehen, die zusammen mit dem Innenring 21 und dem Aussenring 22 ein Walzenlager bildet.
Diese Ausführungsvariante ermöglicht ein besonders augenfälliges Anbringen von seitlich (an den Stirnseiten der Walzen 23) gefassten Edelsteinen 24. Beim Drehen des Innenrings 21 relativ zum Aussenring 22 drehen sich die Walzen 23 um die eigene Achse und somit auch die Edelsteine 24, wodurch deren Brillanz als Facettenspiel besonders gut zur Geltung kommt.
Die Figur 2 zeigt schliesslich einen weiteren drehbaren Schmuckring mit überstehenden Walzen 33. Bei dieser Ausführungsvariante dienen die Walzen 33 als gemeinsame Lagerteile für als Aussenringe 32, 32' und 32'' ausgebildete zweite, dritte und vierte Ringteile. Auch hier sind die überstehenden Walzen 33 sind mit einer ringförmig verlaufenden Ausnehmung versehen, die zusammen mit dem Innenring 21 und den Aussenringen 32, 32' und 32'' ein Walzenlager bilden. Selbstverständlich können auch hier Mittel zur gegenseitigen Positionierung der Walzen 33 vorhanden sein.
Des weiteren können natürlich auch Kombinationen der bisher genannten Ausführungsformen verwendet werden. So ist es beispielsweise möglich, dass
  • Schmuckringe weitere Ringteile aufweisen, von denen nicht alle ein Walzenlager aufweisen, also beispielsweise zusätzliche Ringteile mit Gleitlagern oder anderen Lagern.
  • Schmuckringe weitere Ringteile aufweisen, die nach aussen konzentrisch gelagert sind, beispielsweise in der Form eines inneren, eines mittleren und eines äusseren Ringes.
Für die Herstellung von Schmuckringen der beschriebenen Art eignen sich eine Vielzahl von unterschiedlichen Materialien, hauptsächlich natürlich die bereits erwähnten Metalle Gold, Silber, Platin, aber auch weitere Metalle wie Palladium, Ruthenium, Titan sowie verschiedene Legierungen wie Gold 750, 585 etc. Für die Walzen können neben Edelsteinen und Schmucksteinen auch Keramik-Materialien eingesetzt werden.
Die Ausführungsform der Erfindung mit überstehenden Walzen und darin einseitig gefassten Schmuck- oder Edelsteinen kann nicht nur wie eingangs erwähnt an Fingerringen, Armreifen, ringartigen Schmuckelementen die an Halsketten getragen werden und dergleichen verwendet werden, sondern auch in Kombination mit der dekorativen Gestaltung von Uhren.

Claims (6)

  1. Drehbarer Schmuckring mit mindestens zwei konzentrisch gegeneinander verdrehbaren Ringteilen, wobei die Ringteile einen Innenring und mindestens einen Aussenring umfassen dadurch gekennzeichnet dass der Aussenring (22, 32) oder die Aussenringe (32, 32',32") gegenüber dem Innenring (21, 31) über mindestens ein Walzenlager mit überstehenden (23, 33) verdrehbar ist.
  2. Drehbarer Schmuckring nach Patentanspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass für jeden Aussenring (22, 32) ein Walzenlager mit Walzen (23, 33) vorhanden ist.
  3. Drehbarer Schmuckring nach Patentanspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das oder die Walzenlager Mittel zur gegenseitigen Positionierung einer Anzahl von Walzen (23, 33) aufweist.
  4. Drehbarer Schmuckring nach einem der Patentansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in den Walzenlagern Walzen (23, 33) mit zylinderförmigen Walzflächen vorhanden sind.
  5. Drehbarer Schmuckring nach einem der Patentansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in den Walzenlagern Walzen mit kegelförmigen Walzflächen vorhanden sind.
  6. Drehbarer Schmuckring nach einem der Patentansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in den Walzenlagern Walzen (23, 33) mit seitlich gefassten Schmuck- oder Edelsteinen (24) vorhanden sind.
