Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein klappbares Möbel, insbesondere ein Gartenmöbel, mit zwei an einer Rückenlehne angelenkten Armlehnen und vier Standbeinen (2), wovon jeweils zwei Standbeine an ihrem der betreffenden Armlehne (9) zugewandten Ende über ein Scharnier (1) verschwenkbar miteinander verbunden sind, und bei dem, vorzugsweise am Scharnier, mindestens eine Raste (4) vorgesehen ist, die mit an oder in der Armlehne vorgesehenen Rastungen (12, 13) lösbar in Eingriff bringbar ist.
Bei diesen bekannten klappbaren Möbeln kommt es immer wieder vor, daß sich eine der Rasten beim Zusammenklappen in eine der zahlreichen Rastungen der Armlehne verfängt und hierdurch ein unkompliziertes Zusammenklappen verhindert wird.
Zur Lösung dieses Problems wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, mindestens ein Hebeelement (5) an dem klappbaren Möbel vorzusehen, das exzentrisch zur Schwenkache (16) des Scharniers (1) angeordnet ist und mit mindestens einem der Standbeine (2) in einer mechanischen Verbindung steht, wobei an oder in der Armlehne (9) mindestens eine Hebefläche (14) vorgesehen ist, und daß das Hebeelement (5) beim Zusammenklappen des Möbels und der hierbei stattfindenden Verschwenkung der Standbeine (2) auf die Hebefläche (14) einwirkt und die Rasten (4) vom Eingriffsbereich der Rastungen (12, 13) an oder in der Armlehne (9) fernhält.
