Der Steuerkurventräger 86 ist zusammen mit der Steuerkurve 84 koaxial auf einer seitengestellfesten Lagerbüchse 87 angeordnet, welche wiederum im Inneren einen Wellenzapfen 88 des Vorfalzzylinders 27, in einem Kugellager 89 gelagert, aufnimmt. Der hülsenartige Teil des Steuerkurventrägers 86 weist auf seiner Mantelfläche 91 ein Außengewinde 92 auf und ist mittels z. B. einer Paßfeder 93 auf dem Steuerkurventräger 86 verdrehsicher und axialverschiebbar gelagert.
Aus den übereinandergeführten Papiersträngen 14; 16 werden unter Mitwirkung des Schneidzylinders 21 auf dem Falzmesser-, Nutleisten- und Punkturzylinder 22 Signaturen 78 geschnitten, welche an ihrer in Laufrichtung B des Zylinders 22 weisenden Vorderkante eines vorlaufenden Teils 79 der Signatur 78 mittels der Punktursysteme 26 jeweils erfaßt und einem Vorfalz-Klemmelemente-System 28 des Vorfalzzylinders 27 zugeführt werden. Dabei wird jede Signatur 78, gesammelt oder ungesammelt, mittels eines auf dem Zylinder 22 befindlichen Falzmessers 23 in einen Vorfalz-Klemmspalt 81 des Vorfalz-Klemmelemente-Systems 28 geschoben. Sowohl das vorlaufende Teil 79 als auch ein nachlaufendes Teil 82 der Signatur 78 wird um einen Betrag der Eindringtiefe des Falzmessers 23 in den Vorfalz-Klemmspalt 81 geschoben. Fig. 2 zeigt eine Stellung D der Zylinder 22; 27, bei welcher sowohl die Vorfalz-Klemmelemente 31; 32 als auch das Falzmesser 23 die Zentrale 56 bereits um einen Drehwinkel Alpha durchlaufen haben. Nach dem Zurückziehen des Falzmessers 23 (Fig. 2) schließen sich die Vorfalz-Klemmelemente 31; 32 zangenartig, bzw. maulartig, und bilden einen Vorfalz 83 an der Signatur 78 aus.

Claims (17)
- Verfahren zum Querfalzen von Signaturen (78), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Signaturen (78) mittels falzklappenartigen Vorfalz-Klemmelementen (31, 32) mit einem Vorfalz (83) versehen werden, daß anschließend das Vorfalzprodukt (78, 82, 83) einem Paar rotierenden Falzwalzen (61, 62) zum Fertigfalzen zugeführt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß Punkturen eines Transportsystems (26) während des Einbringens der Signatur (78) in das Vorfalz-Klemmelemente-System (28) entgegen der Drehrichtung (B) eines Transport- und Falzmesserzylinders (22) aus der Signatur (78) herausgezogen werden.
- Verfahren nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Vorfalzprodukte (83; 79; 82) mittels eines Papierführungssystems (63; 64) aus den geöffneten Vorfalz-Klemmelementen ( 31; 32) herausgeführt und den Falzwalzen (61; 62) zugeführt werden.
- Vorrichtung zum Querfalzen von Signaturen (78) mittels eines Transport- und Falzmesserzylinders (22), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß dem Transport- und Falzmesserzylinder (22) ein Vorfalzzylinder (27) mit falzklappenartig darauf angeordneten Vorfalz-Klemmelemente-Systemen (28) zum Ausbilden eines Vorfalzproduktes (83; 82; 79) zugeordnet und dem Vorfalzzylinder (27) ein Paar Falzwalzen (61; 62) zum Fertigfalzen des Vorfalzproduktes (83; 82; 79) nachgeordnet sind.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß am Umfang (42) des Vorfalzzylinders (27) eine Anzahl (n) sich in achsparalleler Richtung des Vorfalzzylinders (27) erstreckende Vorfalz-Klemmelemente-Systeme (28) angeordnet sind.
- Vorrichtung nach den Ansprüchen 4 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jedes Vorfalz-Klemmelemente-System (28) aus einer Anzahl (m) von maulartig zusammen - arbeitenden, nebeneinander in einem axialen Abstand (a) beabstandeten Paaren (29) von Vorfalz-Klemmelementen (31; 32) besteht.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Vorfalz-Klemmelemente (31; 32) jeweils nebeneinander beabstandet (a) auf einer Welle (34; 36) befestigt sind, daß beide Wellen (34; 36) an ihren Enden jeweils seitenwandfest im Vorfalzzylinder (27) jeweils mittels Synchronisiereinrichtungen (37; 38) miteinander verbunden sind.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Vorfalz-Klemmelement (31; 32) an seinem peripherienahen Ende sowie an der mit dem Vorfalzprodukt (79, 82, 83) in Verbindung stehenden Seite abgerundet ausgebildet ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Vorfalz-Klemmelement (31; 32) jeweils aus einem federnden fingerartigen Träger (43; 44) mit einer zylinderförmigen, peripherienahen sowie achsparallel verlaufenden Verdickung (46; 47) besteht.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Radius (r) einer Verdickung (46; 47) kleiner ist als eine Eindringtiefe eines Falzmessers (23) in einen Vorfalz-Klemmspalt (81).
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Träger (43; 44) und die Verdickung (46; 47) einstückig ausgebildet ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zumindest eine der Wellen (34 oder 39; 36 oder 41) des Vorfalz-Klemmelemente-Systems (28) mit einer Kurvensteuerung (49; 51; 52) in Verbindung steht.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Synchronisiereinrichtung (37; 38) aus miteinander kämmenden, wellenfesten Zahnsegmenten (37; 38) besteht.
- Vorrichtung nach den Ansprüchen 6 und 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß im Inneren der Welle (34; 36) eine einendig mit der Welle (34; 36) verbundene Drehstabfeder (39; 41) angeordnet ist, daß die Drehstabfeder (39; 41) am anderen Ende vorspannbar in einer Seitenwand des Vorfalzzylinders (27) befestigt ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zwischen dem Vorfalzzylinder (27) und den Falzwalzen (61; 62) ein Papierführungssystem (63; 64) angeordnet ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Papierführungssystem (63; 64) aus einem auf dem Vorfalzzylinder (27) und um die erste Falzwalze (61) geführtes erstes Bandsystem (63) besteht.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Papierführungssystem (63; 64) aus einem um Bandführungswalzen (68) sowie um die zweite Falzwalze (62) geführtes zweites Bandsystem (64) besteht.
