Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und einen Schutzanzug für infektiöse Patienten, um eine Kontaminierung und damit aufwendige Desinfektionsmaßnahmen zu vermeiden. Das Verfahren besteht darin, daß der Patient vor der durchzuführenden Behandlung oder den Transport in einen Schutzanzug eingehüllt wird, der als Stoffbahn ausgebildet ist. Der Patient wird entweder auf die als Schutzanzug ausgebildete Stoffbahn gelegt und in diese eingehüllt oder die Stoffbahn wird über den Patienten einschließlich seiner Bettung ausgebreitet, um den Patienten einzuhüllen. Der Schutzanzug weist Verschlüsse auf und ist so geschnitten, daß der Schutzanzug in seiner geöffneten Stellung eine Stoffbahn darstellt, auf die der Patient gelegt und unter Schließung der Verschlüsse eingehüllt wird. Um auch bewegungsunfähige Patienten einhüllen zu können, kann der Schutzanzug auch als Stoffbahn ausgebildet sein, die über den Patienten einschließlich seiner Bettung gelegt wird, wobei der Kopf in einer Kapuze mit Gesichtsausschnitt aufgenommen wird. Für Behandlungszwecke sind verschließbare Öffnungen in dem Schutzanzug vorgesehen.
