Abstract

Dans une enrouleuse destinée à l'enroulement de bandes (1) en défilement, par exemple des bandes de papier ou des feuilles de plastique, on connaît des systèmes de cylindres contacteurs comportant plusieurs segments de cylindre (3, 3') montés librement rotatifs l'un à côté de l'autre, face frontale contre face frontale, et mobiles perpendiculairement à leur axe de rotation (11). Chaque segment de cylindre (3, 3') est maintenu par un cadre monté mobile perpendiculairement à l'axe de rotation (11). Chaque cadre d'un segment de cylindre (3, 3') renferme deux plaques d'appui (5, 5') latérales s'étendant parallèlement aux faces frontales desdits segments, les plaques d'appui (5, 5') voisines de deux segments de cylindre (3, 3') étant superposées perpendiculairement au sens de déplacement. De préférence, ces plaques d'appui (5, 5') présentent des gorges annulaires profondes (16) dans lesquelles peuvent tourner sans contact les faces frontales des segments de cylindre (3, 3'). Cette configuration permet de mettre en pression chaque segment de cylindre (3, 3') individuellement contre un rouleau d'enroulement (2) et simultanément de maintenir un très faible écartement entre deux segments de cylindre (3, 3') voisins afin d'éviter la présence de marques sur les rouleaux d'enroulement (2).
