- Verfahren zur Auswahl eines Rundfunkprogramms aus in einem Hintergrundspeicher eines RDS-(Radio-Daten-System)-Rundfunkempfängers abgespeicherten Rundfunkprogrammen mit unterschiedlichen Programmidentifikations-Codes (PI-Codes), wobei der PI-Code zumindest eine Länderkennung, eine Regionalkennung und eine Programmkennung umfasst,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
in einem vorbestimmten Betriebszustand des RDS-Rundfunkempfängers in Abhängigkeit von einer Empfangsqualität eines momentan am RDS-Rundfunkempfänger eingestellten ersten Rundfunkprogramms bei der Auswahl eines neu am RDS-Rundfunkempfängers einzustellenden Rundfunkprogrammes aus dem Hintergrundspeicher ein oder mehrere im Hintergrundspeicher dem ersten Rundfunkprogramm nachfolgend gespeicherte zweite Rundfunkprogramme, welche sich vom ersten Rundfunkprogramm im PI-Code nur durch die Regionalkennung unterscheiden, entweder übersprungen oder einer Empfangsqualitätsprüfung unterzogen werden und dasjenige zweite Rundfunkprogramm gekennzeichnet durch regionale Verwandtschaft am RDS-Rundfunkempfänger eingestellt wird, welches die beste Empfangsqualität aufweist. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
das Überspringen bei Überschreiten einer vorbestimmten Empfangsqualität und die Empfangsqualitätsprüfung bei Unterschreiten einer vorbestimmten Empfangsqualität des ersten Rundfunkprogramms gewählt wird. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
bei der Empfangsqualitätsprüfung eine Feldstärkeprüfung, eine Multipathprüfung, eine Nachbarkanalselektionsprüfung, und/oder eine RDS-Signal-Fehlerratenprüfung durchgeführt wird. - Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die Empfangsqualität eine Feldstärke, eine Multipathqualität, eine Nachbarkanalselektion und/oder eine RDS-Signal-Fehlerrate umfasst. - Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
gekennzeichnet durch,
Prüfen beim Einstellen eines neuen Rundfunkprogramms aus dem Hintergrundspeicher, ob sich im Hintergrundspeicher nachfolgend abgespeicherte, weitere Rundfunkprogramme befinden, welche sich von dem neuen Rundfunkprogramm im PI-Code nur durch die Regionalkennung unterscheiden, Durchführen einer Empfangsqualitätsprüfung dieser Gruppe von sich untereinander nur in der Regionalkennung unterscheidenden Rundfunkprogrammen und Einstellen desjenigen Rundfunkprogramms, welches die beste Empfangsqualität aufweist. - Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
dieses ausgeführt wird, wenn ein Benutzer manuell Durchblättert (Programmblättert). - Verfahren nach Anspruch 6,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
Rundfunkprogramme, welche als Lokalkennung abgespeichert sind, beim Programmblättern immer angeblättert werden, unabhängig davon, ob sie gleiche Programmkennung haben oder am RDS-Rundfunkempfänger eine Auswertung der Regionalkennung aktiviert ist (REG.-ON-MODE) oder nicht (REG.-OFF-MODE). - Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
der vorbestimmte Betriebszustand automatisch aktiviert wird, wenn in wenigstens einem PI-Code eines empfangbaren Rundfunkprogramms eine vorbestimmter Länderkennung festgestellt wird. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 8,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
die vorbestimmte Länderkennung z.B. diejenige für Großbritannien und/oder Österreich ist. - Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
der vorbestimmte Betriebszustand manuell oder automatisch aktivierbar ist. - Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
der vorbestimmte Betriebszustand automatisch aktivierbar ist, wenn sich der RDS-Rundfunkempfänger in einem Betriebszustand befindet, bei dem die Regionalkennung bei der Auswertung des PI-Codes berücksichtigt wird (REG.-ON-Mode). - Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
bei Unterschreiten einer vorbestimmten Empfangsqualität des ersten Rundfunkprogramms automatisch ein anderes im Hintergrundspeicher gespeichertes regionales Rundfunkprogramm derselben Senderkette am RDS-Rundfunkempfänger eingestellt wird oder, falls kein solches Rundfunkprogramm gespeichert ist, das im Hintergrundspeicher nächste Programm am RDS-Rundfunkempfänger eingestellt wird. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 12,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
bei Vorhandensein von mehreren im Hintergrundspeicher gespeicherten regionalen Rundfunkprogrammen derselben Senderkette, diese einer Empfangsqualitätsprüfung unterzogen werden und dasjenige Rundfunkprogramm am RDS-Rundfunkempfänger eingestellt wird, welches die beste Empfangsqualität aufweist.
