Claims (2)
- Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Durchmessers von Münzen, die in regelloser Folge auf einer Führungs bahn entlang der Führungskante gefördert werden,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Münzen (9) durch den Luftspalt eines der Führungskante (6) zugeordneten U-förmigen Ferritkernes (15) geführt werden, dessen Spule (14) von einer Wechselspannung beaufschlagt ist, und daß der Rückfluß des magnetischen Feldes bei der jeder Münze (9) zugeordneten Eintauchtiefe (T) ermittelt und aus dem Rückfluß des magnetischen Feldes der Durchmesser der Münze (9) bestimmt wird. - Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der mit einer Spule (14) bewickelte Ferritkern (15) mit den freien Enden (16) seiner Pole (17,18) senkrecht zur Führungskante (6) gerichtet und in einem definier ten Abstand (D) zu dieser angeordnet ist, wobei der eine Pol (18) in der Führungsbahn (5) und der andere Pol (17) im Abstand der Weite (W) des Luftspaltes oberhalb der Führungsbahn (5) angeordnet ist und die Weite (W) des Luftspaltes mindestens der größten Dicke der dicksten Münze (9) entspricht.
