Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for producing a long fiber foam composite in Shape of a scrim.
  • Foam materials and foam composites are also known, in which fibers, fleeces, fabrics and. structures as reinforcements and where the Foam causes cohesion.
  • the binder is applied to the material in the form of a foamable material already finished fleece applied or introduced, the foamable Binder in the consistency of a viscous paste under pressure on or in the fleece is sprayed, that is, after completion of the fleece.
  • the foam serves exclusively as a binding agent, the small areas of the foamed binder.
  • binders are said to be so be modified so that when applied to textile fabrics, the textile-physical Do not change properties. This measure results in finished flat structures treated afterwards, d. i.e., solidified afterwards.
  • a method is known from WO 93/07318 known after the foam curls are connected to each other by polymer fibers, by melting them and gluing them together, so the familiar "Thermobonding".
  • the foam curls used here have neither a connecting Function, another function that supports the inside.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a long fiber foam composite which the long fibers form a loose, yet dimensionally stable fabric with good Reset properties are connected.
  • this object is achieved by a method of the type indicated, in which the foam body with blowing agents in the formation of the scrim between the Fibers are introduced and the long fibers by reaction or activation of the Blowing agent are partially connected, creating a node-like connection will be produced.
  • the foam bodies connecting in the form of a node can foamed or non-foamed form are introduced into the clutch.
  • the process according to the invention are between fibers only of fibers spanned foam-free zones.
  • natural fibers, man-made fibers, Synthetic fibers, inorganic fibers both as primary fibers and as recycling fibers or mixtures thereof can be used.
  • the partial foam composite according to the invention can the natural fibers just like other fibers with minimal binder expenditure due to foaming be connected to one another in a punctiform manner.
  • the foam bodies support the fibers from the inside forth and ensure that they don't over time can collapse.
  • An increase in the strength of long-fiber partial foam composites can be achieved according to the invention by already foaming the foam body or subsequently foamable in the manner described in introduced a mixture of natural fibers and polymer fibers become.
  • the long fibers can through partial foam bodies then thermobonding increases strength Fusion of the polymer fibers at their crossing points respectively.
  • Partial foam bonded scrim made from mixtures of natural fibers and polymer fibers, unfoamed, previously foamed or foaming afterwards, they also offer Possibility that over the polymer fibers or Foam body if it is made of heat-activated Material, a coupling to sheets, foils, Fabrics and comparable flat materials are made can, possibly with priming of the flat materials. In this way it becomes possible to build lightweight components to produce high strength, e.g. B. car doors, car interior panels, Sandwich elements of all kinds and a. m.
  • the above lightweight components as different sandwich elements Art can also be made according to the invention be when instead of using polymer fibers the fabric on one or both sides with an adhesive is provided or a top layer of foam, the has an adhesive effect and is able to Clutch with sheet-like structures, e.g. B. sheets, Decor fabrics u. a. m. to glue or thermally weld.
  • sheet-like structures e.g. B. sheets, Decor fabrics u. a. m. to glue or thermally weld.
  • Nonwovens manufactured according to the above systems u. can deep-drawn and subsequently pressed, if they thermoplastic components and / or thermosets Include components that are not yet cross-linked.
  • the fleeces can form in zones different densities. In the peripheral zone e.g. B. highly compressed to high strength and rigidity, for. B. for self-supporting parts to achieve and Midfield only slightly compressed to u. a. Upholstery too cause. It is possible using this procedure, too Ribs or embossing for stiffening purposes or Decorative purposes in the molded part with selectable depth and Press density.
  • the procedure is particularly useful for being stiff, dimensionally stable and yet to manufacture light interior parts for vehicles, which do not splinter in the event of a crash.
