Abstract

Die heutigen Küchen weisen als Kochfelder typischerweise solche mit einer Glaskeramikplatte als Kochfläche auf. Diese sind typischerweise Stoß - auf - Stoß mit einem metallischen oder auch Kunststoffprofil als Adapter eingefasst, um die empfindlichen Kanten der Glaskeramikplatten gegen eine mechanische Beanspruchung zu schützen. Die üblicherweise für die Adapter verwendeten Profilwerkstoffe, wie eloxiertes Aluminium, Edelstahl usw., reagieren jedoch empfindlich auf eine direkte starke mechanische Oberflächenbelastung. Weiterhin sind für die unterschiedlichen Materialien verschiedene Reinigungsmittel notwendig und es leidet durch die verschiedenen Materialien nicht nur das äußere Erscheinungsbild, sondern auch die Haptik. Im Hinblick auf die beschränkte Verformbarkeit der Glaskeramikmaterialien sind zudem die konstruktiven als auch die designerischen Möglichkeiten eingeengt.
Zur Vermeidung dieser Nachteile sieht die Erfindung vor, daß die Glaskeramikplatte (1) mit Formteilen (3, 4 b, 4 a, 5) aus vorzugsweise technischem Glas mit ausgeprägter mechanischer Beständigkeit als Adapter im direkten Gefüge eingefasst ist.
