Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for the transportation of cigarettes in connection with the manufacture and / or packaging of the same, the transverse to the direction of transport lying cigarettes in an upright container, in particular a collecting container, a storage part or a shaft part, can be conveyed downwards, namely from one upper inlet opening of the container to an underside thereof, the Cigarettes in the container on at least one support member movable with the cigarettes lie, the support member in a lower setting in the container in a horizontal Transverse direction can be moved out of the container and the support member outside of Container can be moved back into an upper starting position and in the upper starting position by counter-transverse movement in the at least partially empty container can be introduced
  • the transportation of cigarettes in the field of cigarette manufacturing machines and packaging machines takes place predominantly using the own weight of the cigarettes.
  • the cigarette making machine or cigarettes coming from a supply are introduced into a collecting container from above, then transported along a horizontal conveyor line and then in from above promoted a cigarette magazine.
  • This is part of the standard setup of a packaging machine.
  • the lower part of the cigarette magazine is divided into groups of adjacent shafts. At the bottom of these upright canals the cigarettes taken out in groups, namely ejected for handing over to the Packaging members.
  • the starting of the packaging machine is problematic, namely the insertion of the Cigarettes in the empty collection containers, conveying areas and in the cigarette magazine. Falling movements or disordered conveying movements make the cigarettes mechanical impaired. In addition, misalignments occur to a considerable extent individual cigarettes. The same problem occurs with the promotion of cigarettes along horizontal or upright cigarette conveyors.
  • GB 877.876 discloses the use of a platform on which the cigarettes rest during the downward transport. In a lower end position of the platform is pulled out of the container sideways, the cigarettes are placed in the container. Subsequently, the platform is outside the container is moved to an upper starting position and to hold new cigarettes reinserted into the container.
  • the object of the invention is to introduce or convey of cigarettes in containers so as to avoid the cigarettes mechanical loads and malpositions.
  • the inventive division of the container into several juxtaposed Flow areas and the arrangement of several support members causes on the one hand that split the cigarettes as they flow through the container through the dividing members or can be derived, whereby an even distribution of the cigarettes on the container cross-section is achieved. Secondly, this ensures that the cigarettes be supported on the underside in the individual flow channels until the container is filled to the bottom. After preferably completely filling the container the support members are moved to a position outside the container. During the further The operation of the device takes place the promotion of the continuous, closed Cigarette stream without support organs in the sense of the invention.
