Definitions
- the invention is based on a finger ring with in the preamble of the claim 1 specified characteristics.
- a finger ring is from DE-297 03 813 U1 known. It is a finger ring with a ring band and with a piece of jewelry, which is rotatably mounted in the ring rail is that the top and bottom of the jewelry part swapped by turning can be.
- Such a finger ring is also called a transformation ring designated. It enables the wearer to choose one according to their choice and taste Side or the other side of the piece of jewelry facing upwards, which are designed differently for this purpose, so that the appearance of the finger ring in the two positions.
- the jewel is freely rotatable in both directions.
- the top and bottom of the piece of jewelry can no longer be exchanged.
- the exact position in the stanchion then depends however, it still depends on the shape of the finger and how much There is clearance between the finger and the ring.
- the jewelry part can move freely. That is for the appearance of the finger ring unfavorable.
- the free movement of the jewelry part is also unfavorable when presenting the finger ring in a jewelry box or in a display in the jewelry store because there are always separate measures are to take the jewelry part in its optimal position with respect to the ring band to keep.
- the present invention has for its object to show a way how the handling and appearance of such a finger ring can be improved.
- the rotatable jewelry part in lock two defined locking positions.
- a locking device provided that is effective between the ring band and jewelry. By swapping from the top and bottom by twisting the jewelry part this can be transferred from one to the other locking position.
- the jewelry part in the ring band without external aids maintain two defined positions, whether on the finger or in one Jewelry box or in the display of a jewelry store.
- the two locking positions are chosen so that they are for the appearance of the finger ring overall are optimal.
- the locking positions are preferably arranged in a 180 ° position to one another.
- the locking positions can also be arranged in a slightly different angular position.
- a 180 ° position of the locking positions has the further advantage that it is possible makes the jewelry part cyclically and in any direction from one in to transfer the other locking position.
- the axis around which the jewelry part is rotatably mounted can be in the circumferential direction the ring rail (circumferential direction of the finger) or across it. Orientations between these two main directions too the axis of rotation are basically possible. Best for construction and for appearance and comfort, however, it is when the axis of rotation of the jewelry part in the circumferential direction of the ring rail extends.
- the jewelry part needs a recess in the corresponding size Ring rail in which it can be stored and rotated.
- This recess can - in a top view of the jewelry part - be surrounded on all sides by the ring band his.
- the ring band is not closed, but one by two end faces has limited gap, which is closed by the insertion of the jewelry part becomes. Therefore, you can use the jewelry part away from the end faces Grasp two fingers on opposite edges and turn slightly, especially when the piece of jewelry - seen in the direction of the axis of rotation - a lancet-shaped profile, which is also optimal for comfort.
- a latch could be provided as a locking device, which is from the ring rail from the jewelry part or from the jewelry part into the ring band moved, e.g. with the help of a supplied pen or with a needle.
- resiliently engaging locking means in particular those which have a spring-loaded ball on one side, which in a hole or is caught and protrudes in a sleeve in the jewelry part or in the ring band, as well as two spherical depressions on the other side, preferably have elongated, in which the projecting ball can alternatively snap.
- Such an embodiment has the advantage that the piece of jewelry locks resiliently and that it is only by exerting a torque of one Locking position can be transferred to the other locking position without one To release the lock.
- the handling is therefore very simple and also stimulates even the play instinct: Because twisting is so easy, you are inclined to take off the ring more often, with the twistable jewelry part too play and put the ring back on.
- the spring-loaded ball is preferably in the jewelry part, whereas two crowned recesses in one of the two end faces of the ring rail are located. In this way you get a particularly compact and The aesthetic design of the finger ring does not impair, but rather favoring Construction.
- the ball is preferably arranged so close to the axis of rotation of the jewelry part indicates that it is also covered outside of its resting positions.
- the locking mechanism is then not visible at all. But it would also be quite justifiable if you could see the ball while twisting because that is not the normal wearing position. At least in the locking position however, the locking device may be covered.
- the spring-loaded ball could go directly into a hole in the jewelry part inserted and by a collar or a pressed or soldered Ring are held back in it. It is cheaper to use a prefabricated locking device insert into a hole in the jewelry part, consisting of a thin sleeve for holding a coil spring and a ball, which are inside is held back by a collar over which the ball protrudes somewhat.
- a locking device is also called a cliquet. It should be so close to the axis of rotation of the piece of jewelry that even outside the rest positions at least partially the collar of the cliquet is covered.
- a spring bar which is suitable for attaching Leather bracelets on watch cases is known per se. He offers that Possibility to make the pivot bearing practically invisible, but still so that the piece of jewelry can also be removed from the ring band if necessary can be.
- the two blind holes 4 and 5 are of identical design and lie towards each other.
- On both sides of the blind hole 5 are in a diagonal arrangement - parallel to the finger axis 6 of the ring band - two elongated troughs 7 and 8 provided, which in section perpendicular to the finger axis 6 by a Circular section line or a similarly rounded contour is limited are.
- a piece of jewelry 10 used which on an enlarged scale above the ring rail is shown. It is a prismatic part with parallel, lancet-shaped end faces 11 and 12, which are similar to end faces 2 and 3 and are the same size or slightly larger than this.
- the jewelry part is 10 shown in two parts; however, this representation was only chosen for the interior to be able to display the jewelry part.
- the two form halves shown together a part in which there is a longitudinally continuous in the middle Bore 13 and a blind hole 14 are located close to it.
- the through bore 13 receives a spring bar 15 with which the Jewelry part 10 can be inserted into the two blind holes 4 and 5 of the ring band can.
- the blind bore 14 receives a cliquet 16, which together with his Collar 17 is sunk in the jewelry part 10, so that only the over Collar 17 projecting ball 18 which, under the action of a 16 existing helical spring stands, protrudes slightly beyond the end face 11.
- This Ball 18 engages either in recess 7 or in the recess 8 a. Basically, it would be sufficient to crowned the recesses 7 and 8 to train. However, are they going beyond a merely spherical shape like shown elongated, the ball 18 can also with larger manufacturing tolerances definitely snap into the recesses 7 and 8.
- the ball 18 slides against the spring force out of the recess 7 or 8, rolls over the end surface 3 and clicks finally in the other recess 8 or 7 again. That way important defined positions for the optimal appearance of the finger ring the jewelry part, which can still be easily exchanged, and the Sliding the ring on a finger, especially when pushing away Via a finger joint, the ring can be disengaged and swiveled the jewelry part 10 ergonomically when moving Sliding on or pulling off the finger ring as well as when bending the finger to adjust.
- the top 21 and bottom 22 of the jewelry part 10 are shown without distinction in the present drawing for the sake of simplicity.
