Definitions
- the invention relates to an electrical noise absorber and a method for its attachment to an electrical Electric wire. It is known that elements made of ferromagnetic Material surrounding an electrical wire Reduce interference, especially electrical noise can.
- a noise absorber is known from EP 0 257 179 B2 become, whose ferromagnetic elements in the form of Half rings in a centrally divided, collapsible Housing are included.
- a plurality of teeth are attached, which in engage the cable and fix the housing on the cable. Since such noise absorbers that can be mounted on the cable normally for a certain range of cable diameters should be suitable, the teeth grip each more or less in the cable. The clamping force required for this must be be applied when closing the housing halves. she always tries to push the two housing halves apart and loads the closure and the film hinges between the housing halves. Above all, this allows the housing halves lock apart so that the two elements are out ferromagnetic material with their partitions not tight lie on top of each other, what the effectiveness of the noise absorber significantly reduced.
- the cable When installing the noise absorber on the cable, the cable must be inserted into one of the two housing halves, so that it in the middle divided cable passage in the ferromagnetic Element lies and through the two housing openings reaches through. Then the second half of the housing folded over and, e.g. by a rest or Snap lock to be locked. It has to be exactly on that be careful that the cable is not between the ferrite elements device, which is not only the ring closure of the ferrite elements pick up, but also blow up the housing or the closure damage or make impossible. The assembly therefore requires great attention and is tedious.
- the object of the invention is an electrical noise absorber and to create a process that the assembly of the Noise absorber on a cable easier and independent of randomness or special skill. It should in particular also facilitate the closing function of the housing and achieved an improvement in the housing structure become.
- the noise absorber according to the invention thus has fixing edges on who are at such a distance from each other, that too the smallest cable for which the noise absorber is still intended is already when it is pressed in between the fixing edges is clamped.
- a noise absorber for cables provided that differ in diameter by about 2 mm.
- the distance between the fixing edges should be 0.2, for example up to 0.3 mm smaller than the smallest of these cable diameters. This ensures that even this cable is still good is clamped and on the other hand also the thickest cable is relatively easy to impress. By completely avoiding it teeth damage to the cable is avoided.
- the cable is only partially flattened and forms two in its flexible insulating material in the circumferential direction running narrow flats out.
- the fixing edges should be essentially parallel to each other be, but at least no longer deviate from parallelism, as a self-locking of the cable between them is guaranteed. This also applies if the fixing edges or the lasts they carry in a certain area, for example the protruding beyond the housing parting line Area that is somewhat flexible. But flexibility is not allowed be too large, so that the clamping force also without additional measures is maintained.
- the fixing edges can be very narrow, but should if possible be not sharp-edged to avoid cable injuries To avoid indentation.
- the surfaces of the fixing edges should also be straight and toothless. A certain surface roughness is however possible.
- the fixing edges are preferably outside the actual one Housing, in particular outside the housing through openings educated. There that part of the fixing edges, that protrudes beyond the housing parting line, freely in front of the Stand outer wall.
- the shape of the housing through openings is irrelevant. You can with composite Housing should be smooth circular and should have a diameter have at least that of the largest cable provided corresponds. At most, they still have a management role for the cable so that this to the ferromagnetic elements is well aligned, but no fixing function in axial direction.
- the Casing through holes on the open side of the two Fixing edges for additional radial locking.
- the cable is already through the fixing edges when pressed in in the axial direction essentially final fixed, in particular with a round cable a mixed positive and positive connection (due to the cable constriction). Even in the radial direction it is in there Relative to a degree of freedom (across the fixing edges) form-fitting and in the direction perpendicular to it non-positively, namely by friction between the fixing edges.
- a noise absorber created for round cables that consist of two around one cable collapsible housing halves and contains ferrite half rings contains. It is fixed on a cable that the cable between closing the housing halves between two parallel fixing edges of a fork-shaped projection is pressed in on a housing end wall. The two legs the fork protrude beyond the housing joint however outside the front wall of the second housing half.
- the cable is essentially parallel to each other Fixing edges pressed together on the side, what for a secure longitudinal safety device that does not damage the cable of the relatively heavy noise absorber due to the elements the cable.
- the assembly is much easier that the Definition before closing the housing halves in final form and after folding the Halves no elastic explosive force that remains tries to push the housing halves apart. This ensures also for good contact between the two halves of the ferrite elements, on the ring closure it is particularly effective arrives.
- the pre-fixation possible by the invention is of the cable in the housing recess and in particular the recess between the ferrite halves especially important.
- the flat cable is between the side legs of the ferrite halves and thus a ring closure of the Prevent ferrites that are important for the function.
- the invention creates a possibility here, the cable on the already fix the lower half of the housing so that when Closing the housing no longer shifts fear. If anything, when you close the Housing only a certain clamping effect on the flat cable exercised, which, among other things, prevents that bulging flat cables inside the noise absorber.
- the main holding effect is through hook-shaped fixing elements exercised on the type of angle levers each outside are integrally formed on a housing half and with a cam-like Limit projection a clamping gap in which the Flat cables are inserted as a result of an insertion slope can.
- the ends of the clamping gap mostly through the fixing element are limited, cause the flat cable to stop in the area of both end faces of the housing, so that the Cable on the edge of the flat slot-shaped in this case Cable passage opening is guided along.
- a cam on that Fixing element intervenes in the usually existing grooves the individual wires of the flat cable and ensures one good securing in the transverse direction, while securing in Axial direction partly due to clamping action on the flat cable and partly due to a slight wave deformation of the flat cable is achieved. Because the insulation in such flat cables are particularly thin, it is important that penetration in the cable insulation to hold it is not necessary.
- noise absorbers according to FIGS. 1 to 4 and 5 to 7 are except for the differences from same type, so that they are described together.
- the core and active element of the noise absorber 11 are those in FIG Fig. 1 indicated by dashed lines, in Fig. 5 to 7 in plan view recognizable elements 12 made of ferromagnetic material, mostly diminished from ferrite material, which is a cable 13 ring-shaped should enclose when they are assembled. she thus form half-shells with cable channel recesses 14.
- the elements 12 are arranged in a housing 15 which, like the elements 12, is divided in two to the subsequent Installation of the noise absorber on one under certain circumstances to enable already provided cables.
- the Housing thus consists of two sub-shells 16, 17, the separate the housing approximately in half. Each partial shell has one Bottom 18, side walls 19, 20 and end walls 21, 22. In the housing recess 23 formed thereby is not shown in FIG illustrated way the respective ferrite element 12 e.g. by Clamp or otherwise fixed.
- Both partial housing shells 16, 17 are in one piece from plastic injection molding manufactured and by two flexible strips 24, which are a kind Form a film hinge, connected to each other.
- a locking mechanism 25 holds the two shells together when they be pressed together.
- the housing 15 and the elements 12 are coordinated so that in assembled state the two surfaces 26 of the Ferrite elements along the housing parting line 27 with one another Contact stand around a closed ferromagnetic ring to form the cable 13 around.
- the housing part shells In the area of the housing parting line can the housing part shells by interlocking Folds or the like overlap slightly so as not to open To create joints.
- each semicircular Cut out openings with the housing closed Create through openings 28 for the cable. They flee with the cable channel recesses 14 in the elements 12 and have roughly their dimensions.
- a U-shaped projection 31 is in front of the outer surface 21 of the left in Fig. 1 and 2 Molded housing shell 16. He closes with his lower U-bend to the through half opening 29. His lateral legs 32 protrude over the housing parting line 27 upwards, approximately by the depth of the passage half-opening 29.
- the legs 33 form two fixing edges on their inside 34. They run perpendicular to the housing joint 27 and narrow the continuation of the through openings to which they practically form tendons. So it emerges from the figures 1 to 3 recognizable fork or U shape of the passage 35 the fixing means 30 consisting of two parallel to each other Fixing edges 34 and a lower arch connecting them 36, which is essentially an extension of the corresponding Part of the through-half opening 29 runs.
- Figures 5 and 6 show that these legs 33 in plan view have an L-shape, so that the relatively narrow fixing edges 34 through the slightly wider outer parts of the legs 33 are stiffened.
- the fixing edges 34 are essentially parallel to each other and flat, at least not sharp-edged. They are from the through-half opening 29, as can be seen in FIG. 5 recognizes separated by a groove 32.
- the upper corners of the fixing edges are for easier insertion of the cable with fillets or bevels 37 Mistake.
- FIGS. 5 to 7 differs from that according to FIGS. 1 to 4 only in that on the second housing shell 17 fixation means 30 is provided are in the area of the end face 22. They lie that is, with the housing partial shells unfolded diagonally or offset in a double mirror image.
- fixing agents 30 only provided in the region of the end wall 21.
- the housing In its manufacturing condition, the housing is with its two housing partial shells 16, 17 opened (Fig. 1).
- the elements 12 are made of ferrite material in the state Housing recesses 23 inserted and by the not shown Fastening devices held on (see also Fig. 5).
- the assembly step is then the cable 13 from above attached to the housing shell 16, in which it is vertically in the passage 35 is pressed. It comes in contact with the fixing edges 34 of the fixing means 30. Since their distance is slightly smaller than the cable diameter, form at two opposite points of the cable Flattenings 38.
- the legs 33 of the bifurcated fixative 30 since, like the whole Housing made of a flexible plastic material, expand easily.
- the amount of this expansion can be determined by the Size and shape of the profile of the legs 33 according to the Be adapted to requirements. Another flexibility could be created by the legs 33 over a certain height can be cut free from the end wall 21 would, as with the dashed line 39 in Fig. 4th is indicated.
- This next assembly step ( Figures 3, 4 and 7) consists of Close, i.e. Folding the partial housing shells 16, 17.
- the housing shell 17 is counter to the 180 ° Folded clockwise, with the film hinge 24 bent accordingly and the closure 25 in the corresponding Counter recess engages and the two half shells connects with each other.
- the two through-openings 29 lay force-free over the cable, because they are slightly larger in diameter than this. Accordingly can the surfaces 26 of the ferrite elements 12 lay on top of each other without gaps.
- the housing parting line is with no pressure forces that she tries to expand. This simplifies the construction of the closure and of the hinge and allows you to choose one for the housing more flexible material, what its other tasks (impact resistance etc.) benefits.
- the housing is so double-mirror symmetrical is that it doesn't matter which of the two Half shells the cable is pressed. So it's not Alignment of the half-shells necessary. This makes it easier first assembly step.
- the second assembly step, the closing the housing half-shells is basically the same Wise.
- the fixatives are just before closing the half-shells pressed over the cable, which is a little more force required as in execution. Fig. 1 to 3. After However, closing the half-shells does not leave a permanent load back because the fixation by the fixing edges 34 the leg 33 is applied to the cable force that is independent of the closing force of the housing halves.
- One set of fixatives on one side is usually sufficient the housing for a secure fixing from (Fig. 1 to 3).
- fixing particularly flexible and light moveable cable goes then it would also be possible to two Sets of fixatives on the same shell to provide. Then the cable would also be on the second side not only guided in the through opening 29, but also be fixed. This could e.g. make sense if at the Months after the cable has been inserted another assembly station.
- FIGS. 8 to 10 show a noise absorber 11 for flat cables 13 (shown in phantom in Fig. 8). Except for the Differences described apply to all characteristics and procedures the previously described embodiment.
- the partial housing shells 16, 17 are flat or box-shaped because of a very wide and thin ribbon cable 13 should be included. Accordingly, they are Ferrite elements 12 (also dashed) very flat and U-shaped elongated in the transverse direction of the cable 13. Because of the small thickness of the ribbon cable 13 are the side U-legs 51, the two ferrite elements lie on top of each other close to a ring, very low (see 9 left).
- the ferrite elements 12 are suitable in the Housing halves inserted and are molded by Spring tabs 52 pressed against stop cams 53 in Set the cross direction to the cable while preventing it from falling out by snapping in or out of the partial housing shells - clamp under webs 54 on the elongated end faces 21, 22 are secured. These take effect in the area of one Ferrite element provided phase 55 so that it does not have the area of the flat slot-shaped cable recess 14 protrude.
- the locking mechanism 25 for locking the housing shells 16, 17 to each other is the same as previously described Embodiment designed and allows a click in various closely spaced rest positions.
- the individual locking teeth are on flexible, diagonally to the housing parting line 27 facing tabs provided.
- An opening of the Housing can be accomplished in that a two-armed Key (not shown) through the openings in the opposite shell is inserted and compresses the locking elements 25 in the open position.
- the passage openings 28 on both sides of the noise absorber, those in the two shell shells End faces 21, 22 are provided are corresponding the flat cable formation very long (or with regard seen on the cable: wide) and according to the small Provide the thickness of the cable with small height dimensions.
- the resultant Clamping gap 58 In the middle of the Cable passage opening 28 is the resultant Clamping gap 58 by two convexly approaching each other Fixing edge sections 59 limited. This joins in both sides in the area of the lower housing shell 16 a slot 60 separated from section 58, a concave Fixing edge section 61. This is again through one Slot 60 separated from the end 62 of the through opening 28.
- the concave section 61 protrudes with its lateral, to the Slits bordering 60 ends almost to the level of Housing separation joint 27. Opposite him lies on the Housing cover side 17 a corresponding section, the however, a larger one compared to the housing parting plane Has a distance and is not concave, but straight is. It is also limited by slots 60.
- the fixing means 30 includes a fixing element 63, which Form of an angle lever cranked in two planes. He is via a base section 64 on the outer end wall 21 of the Molded lower housing shell 16. A runs from this Angular section 65 transversely to the housing parting line 27 and over this, which is followed by a lever section 66. Near its free end is a back and forth to the housing parting line molded over these facing cams 67, the one flat wedge-shaped tip and towards the center of the through opening has an insertion bevel 68.
- the lever section 66 runs essentially parallel in the unloaded state to the housing parting line and the cam 67 extends into the Plane of the bottom of the concave fixing edge section 61, compared to this, however, as can be seen from FIG.
- Fixing element 63 slightly offset in the longitudinal direction of the cable because the entire Fixing element 63 at a short distance in front, ie outside of End face 21, 22 is arranged.
- One fixing element 63 each is at each end of the through hole 28 and both End faces provided, a total of four.
- Fig. 8 reveals that the fixing edge is relatively narrow, so that the surface pressure, which is the resilient, lever-like Fixing elements 63 exercises is slightly larger in this area.
- the convex fixing edge portions 59 are in both Housing partial shells and the surfaces of the webs 54 in the Cover pan 17 flat and wide, so that it has a large area Cause clamping effect.
- the assembly procedure is as follows:
- Housing sub-shells 16, 17 become the flat U-shaped ferrite elements 12 inserted between the webs 54, the Snap the spring tabs 52 and the stops 53 into place clamp. They are therefore safe to install on the housing halves attached.
- the ribbon cable is first on one side under the fixing elements 63 pushed, being over the insertion slope 68 the lever section 66 pivots upward (see Fig. 10) and a nip between them, especially his Cam 67, and the concave fixing edge portion 61 releases.
- the fixing element exerts a clamping force on the Cable made by its resilient training is produced.
- the base section 64 acts in particular in the manner of a torsion spring, while the angle section 65 and the lever section 66 can act as a spiral spring.
- the cable is a light Waveform takes and the nose of the cam 67 in the in most cases there is a groove between the individual cable cores in which she lies, but without the isolation to damage.
