Description
Claims (7)
- Verfahren zum abdichtenden Verschließen des anschlußseitigen Endbereichs eines Glührohres einer Glühkerze, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man den genannten Bereich des Glührohres (3) vercrimpt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man den anschlußseitigen Bereich des Glührohres (3), in dem ein oder mehrere Heiz- und/oder Regelelemente (5) in Isoliermaterial (4) eingebettet sind, mit einem Dichtelement (2) verschließt, und die Crimpung (6) über dem Dichtelement (2) ausführt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 und/oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Crimpen unter gleichzeitiger Durchmesserreduzierung des anschlußseitigen Endbereichs des Glührohres (3) durchführt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man eine Durchmesserreduzierung um etwa 8-10 % bewirkt.
- Verfahren nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Crimpbereich zu zylindrischer Form nachgearbeitet wird.
- Glühkerze mit einem Glührohr (3), in dem in Isoliermaterial (4) ein oder mehrere Heiz- und/oder Regelelemente (5) eingebettet sind, wobei der anschlußseitige Endbereich des Heizelements (5) mit einem stabförmigen Innenpol (1) fest verbunden ist, wobei der Innenpol (1) aus dem anschlußseitigen Endbereich des Glührohres (3) herausragt, und wobei dieser Endbereich des Glührohres (3) über einem Dichtelement (2), das den Innenpol (1) umgibt und den Innenraum des Glührohres (3) abdichtet, vercrimpt und anschließend zu zylindrischer Form nachgearbeitet ist.
- Glühkerze nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Crimpung (6) sechs gleichmäßig um den Endbereich des Glührohrs (3) verteilte Crimpgrate aufweist, wobei der Glührohrdurchmesser dieses Bereichs durch den Crimpvorgang um etwa 8 bis etwa 10 % reduziert ist, und wobei die Crimpung (6) in axialer Richtung über etwa 10 mm verläuft.
