Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for marking or Drilling holes in glasses and a device to carry out the procedure.
- the nose bridge and the temples of rimless glasses become usually on the shape-ground glasses screwed. Therefore, it is necessary in the shape-cut lenses precisely position the holes for Attach the nose bridge and the temples to attach.
- the location This drilling is due to the shape of the lenses as well of the nose bridge and the temple determined and by the manufacturer of these parts set.
- To choose one rimless glasses are the elements of a so-called Bolted support plate, supplied and allow one Trying on the rimless glasses without using optical glasses.
- Rimless glasses often become one Shaped disc for grinding the contour of the lenses supplied, which the manufacturer also with the holes is provided for attaching the eyeglass frame elements.
- the optician marks the shaped disc or support disc Drill holes on an eyeglass lens and drill the holes using a suitable drilling device.
- the invention is based on the problem of marking or Drilling and simplifying holes in eyeglass lenses accelerate, increase the accuracy and the risk of Reduce glass breakage when drilling.
- the invention is based on the consideration that the effort to record the location of the holes is low because only one pair of values (x, y), (r, ⁇ ) is required for each hole and these pairs of values accurately and quickly controlling the Marking or drilling using a CNC-controlled Can cause marking or drilling device.
- Marking the holes can be done using an inkjet or a countersink. In this case actual drilling of the holes in a usual Drilling device carried out.
- the holes are preferably CNC-controlled Drilled drilling device, the drilling tool the Lens material is to be adjusted. Is it for example around silicate glasses, is preferably a Diamond drilling tool used while for drilling Plastic glass drilling tools made of hard metal are suitable.
- the position of the holes can be scanned, for example in a centering device for spectacle lens blanks carry out.
- a centering device for spectacle lens blanks carry out.
- Such centering devices are used on a lens blank, which is in a viewing optics or is recognizable on a screen and an image of the shaped glasses according to the Glasses frame is superimposed, a holding element in the form of a Blocks or suction cups to attach to the lens blank in an exact position in a spectacle lens holding shaft on one Use glasses edge grinding machine, after which the Shape grinding according to the specified shape of the lens is carried out.
- the position of the holes can also be scanned in a Device for scanning the contour of a shaped disk be performed.
- a Device for scanning the contour of a shaped disk By means of such a device becomes the contour of a shaped disk in the form of a data set recorded and for controlling the shape grinding by means of a CNC controlled eyeglass lens edge grinding machine used.
- Support disc are u. a. to used to see through the glasses Mark adjustment to the new glasses frame.
- DE 40 03 001 C1 from the same applicant is such a device described for cutting support disks.
- Another way to sense the location of the holes consists of an eyeglass lens grinding machine use in which also marking or drilling the holes he follows. It is advantageous here that to accommodate the Data and to control marking or drilling as well as Controlling the shape grinding of the eyeglass lens the same calculator lets use.
- a video system with a screen display of the Contour of the lens or the shaped lens or Support disc and the holes can be used to scan the Use location of holes if this video system is like this is set up that the recording of the location of the data Drilling takes place using an automatic image evaluation.
- the data is placed on a digitizing board the position of the holes by the on the Holes visible on the screen or the digitizing board by means of a keyboard or a computer mouse highlighted movable cursor and by clicking the respective hole can be registered.
- This entry of the data record can be in the form of rectangular or polar coordinates using one with the Computer connected keyboard or by reading the Data record on a floppy disk, an EPROM or a Magnetic stripe is stored or by means of a barcode is shown, accomplish.
