Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren zum Verschließen und Öffnen eines Stichloches (13) eines kippbaren metallurgischen Gefäßes (1), insbesondere eines Stahlwerkskonverters (1), ist das Stichloch (13) mittels einer Verschlußeinrichtung (14) mit einem Verschlußkörper (15), der von einer Warteposition (I) in eine Schließposition (II) und retour gebracht werden kann, verschließbar.
Zur Verringerung des Abstechens von Schlackenschmelze wird die Aktivierung der Verschlußeinrichtung (14) in Abhängigkeit der Höhe (30, 29) des Metall- und/oder Schlackenbadspiegels (32, 31) der im metallurgischen Gefäß (1) enthaltenen Metall- bzw. Schlackenschmelze (19, 20) sowie in Abhängigkeit des Kippwinkels (α1, α2) und des Innenvolumens des metallurgischen Gefäßes (1) durchgeführt.
