Abstract
Description
Organe de fixation de dispositif de distribution.
La présente invention concerne un organe de fixation, tel qu'une bague ou une tourette, pour fixer un dispositif de distribution de produit fluide, tel qu'une pompe ou une valve sur le col d'un réservoir. Ce genre d'organe de fixation est couramment utilisé dans le conditionnement de liquide ou de produit pâteux, notamment dans le domaine de la parfumerie, de la cosmétique et de la pharmacie. L'organe de fixation qui sert à monter la pompe ou la valve sur le réservoir contenant le produit à distribuer comprend en général un corps pourvu de moyens de réception en général par encliquetage pour recevoir la pompe ou la valve et des moyens de fixation par vissage ou par sertissage sur le col du réservoir.
Dans le cas d'une bague de fixation par exemple, celle-ci s'étend depuis le col du réservoir vers le haut et masque ainsi la pompe ou la valve. Pour des raisons esthétiques, la bague s'étend au moins jusqu'au niveau de l'extrémité inférieure du poussoir lorsque la pompe ou la valve est au repos. Ainsi, la bague réalise une jonction esthétique entre le réservoir et le poussoir sur lequel on appuie pour actionner le dispositif de distribution.
Dans certains domaines, et plus particulièrement dans la parfumerie et la cosmétique, il est important que le distributeur dans son ensemble présente un aspect esthétique attrayant. Par conséquent, il est courant d'habiller la bague réalisée en matière moulée, avec un habillage généralement métallique. la paroi extérieure de la bague est généralement cylindrique et 1'habillage qui vient la revtir se présente alors sous la forme d'un simple cylindre que l'on vient emmancher en force sur la bague. La fixation de 1'habillage sur la bague est alors simplement réalisée par les frottements entre eux. Un distributeur comprenant une telle bague habillée est décrite dans le document US-5 234 135 du mme inventeur.
Cependant, cette technique d'emmanchage cylindrique ne peut pas tre utilisée lorsque la bague ou 1'habillage ne sont pas parfaitement cylindriques.
D'autre part, ce type d'emmanchage de l'habillage ne permet pas un blocage en rotation, ce qui peut tre gnant.
Le document US-5 228 586 décrit par exemple un distributeur dans lequel une
frette est fixée sur une bague de sertissage au moyen d'un épaulement supérieur et d'un cordon inférieur qui viennent en prise avec la bague respectivement au-dessus et en dessous. La frette est ainsi maintenue sur la bague tout en pouvant tourner sur elle.
Il est à noter qu'il ne s'agit pas dans ce document d'un habillage, mais d'une frette d'indexation.
La présente invention a pour but de pouvoir fixer un habillage mme non cylindrique, sur un organe de fixation, qui peut lui aussi tre non cylindrique.
Pour ce faire, la présente invention a pour objet un organe de fixation pour fixer un dispositif de distribution de produit fluide tel qu'une pompe ou une valve sur un réservoir, ledit organe de fixation comprenant un corps pourvu de moyens de réception pour recevoir un dispositif de distribution et des moyens de fixation sur le réservoir, et un habillage périphérique extérieur recouvrant au moins partiellement ledit corps, ledit habillage comprenant des moyens d'accrochage coopérant avec ledit corps, lesdits moyens d'accrochage comprenant des dents adaptées à mordre dans le corps.
Avantageusement, les moyens d'accrochage comprennent un rabat périphérique orienté vers l'intérieur définissant un logement interne annulaire recevant une extrémité d'un manchon formé par ledit corps.
De préférence, les dents sont prévues à l'extrémité du rabat.
En outre, ledit habillage peut tre pourvu de moyens de retenue coopérant avec ledit corps, les moyens de retenue pouvant comprendre au moins une projection interne coopérant par encliquetage avec ledit corps.
Selon une forme de réalisation, la projection interne est formée par un repli vers l'intérieur de l'extrémité périphérique de l'habillage sur elle-mme.
D'autre part, le corps est pourvu de moyens d'encliquetage coopérant avec les moyens de retenue de 1'habillage.
Selon une forme de réalisation, les moyens d'encliquetage comprennent plusieurs pattes élastiques d'encliquetage.
En variante, les moyens d'encliquetage comprennent une collerette périphérique élastique d'encliquetage.
Selon une forme de réalisation esthétique, il est possible que 1'habillage présente une forme ogivale en section verticale.
Les moyens d'accrochage et les moyens de retenue sont prévus sur l'habillage respectivement à l'extrémité supérieure et à l'extrémité inférieure de l'habillage, de sorte qu'il est soumis à une tension entre ses deux extrémités.
L'invention sera maintenant plus amplement décrite en référence aux dessins joints donnant à titre d'exemple non limitatif un mode de réalisation de la présente invention.

moyens de retenue respectivement, et -la figure 3 est une vue de dessous de l'habillage représentée sur la figure 2.
Dans 1'exemple de la figure 1, il a été représenté une pompe 3 surmontée d'un poussoir 4. Bien entendu, il est tout à fait possible de remplacer cette pompe 3 par une valve. La structure interne de la pompe 3 n'étant pas critique pour la présente invention, elle ne sera pas décrite du tout. La seule partie qui intervient dans la présente invention est le corps 31 de la pompe. Cette pompe 3 est équipée d'un organe de fixation 2 qui se présente sous la forme d'une bague. La pompe 3 ainsi équipée de sa bague est prte à tre montée sur le col d'un réservoir (non représenté).
La bague est formée d'un corps 2 qui comprend de manière classique des moyens de réception 26 qui reçoivent l'extrémité supérieure de corps de pompe par encliquetage en force, et des moyens de fixation 25 ici sous la forme d'un filetage interne destiné à coopérer avec un filetage correspondant prévu sur le col d'un réservoir (non représenté). Bien entendu, une fixation par sertissage peut tre envisagée à la place du filetage interne 25. Plus en détail, le corps 2 de la bague se présente dans son ensemble sous la forme d'un cylindre qui définit dans sa partie inférieure un manchon 27 pourvu intérieurement du filetage interne 25 et dans sa partie supérieure d'un manchon 21 qui fait saillie vers le haut et se termine par une extrémité périphérique supérieure 23. Au niveau de la jonction des manchons 21 et 27, la bague forme une collerette annulaire 28 qui s'étend vers l'intérieur.
La collerette 28 se prolonge sur sa périphérique interne par un manchon 29 qui définit les moyens de réception 24 par encliquetage pour l'extrémité supérieure du corps de pompe 31.
Une telle bague 2 est d'une conception tout à fait classique.
Toutefois, selon l'invention, la bague 2 forme à proximité de l'extrémité 23 du manchon 21 un rebord périphérique annulaire 26. Comme on peut le voir sur la figure 1, ce rebord périphérique annulaire 24 est réalisé par un amincissement de la paroi du manchon 21 au niveau de l'extrémité supérieure 23. D'autre part, la bague 2 est pourvue, au niveau de l'extrémité inférieure du manchon 27, de pattes réparties sur la périphérique ou d'une collerette élastique périphérique 22 qui fait saillie vers l'extérieur.
Ces pattes ou cette collerette cassent l'aspect parfaitement cylindrique de la bague 2, de sorte qu'elle présente maintenant une forme d'ensemble conique ou ogivale.
Pour les raisons esthétiques décrites ci-dessus, la bague 2 comprend d'un habillage 1, de préférence métallique, qui recouvre le corps 2 de la bague. Comme on peut le voir sur les figures 1 et 2, cet habillage présente en section transversale une forme sensiblement ogivale. Pour permettre la fixation de cet habillage 1 sur le corps 2 de la bague, il est prévu des moyens d'accrochage qui coopèrent avec le corps 2.
Selon la forme de réalisation représentée sur la figure 1, ces moyens d'accrochage sont situés à l'extrémité périphérique supérieure de 1'habillage 1 sous la forme d'un rabat périphérique 13 relié au corps 11 de l'habillage par une bride annulaire de liaison 14. Le rabat 13 forme avec l'extrémité supérieure du corps 11 de 1'habillage 1, un logement interne annulaire 16 (fig. 2a) dans lequel est engagée l'extrémité supérieure 23 du manchon 21.
Selon l'invention, le rabat 13 est pourvu de dents 15 orientées vers le bas à l'intérieur de l'habillage 1. Ces dents 15 sont adaptées à mordre dans le rebord 26 que forme le manchon 21 à proximité de son extrémité 23. En réalisant l'habillage 1 en métal et la corps de la bague 2 en matière plastique, on assure un bon ancrage des dents 15 dans le rebord 24. L'implantation des dents 15 dans le rebord 24 empche toute possibilité de rotation de l'habillage sur le corps 2 de la bague.
En variante ou en combinaison avec les dent, le logement 16 peut tre réalisé de sorte que l'extrémité 23 du manchon 21 puisse tre engagée en force à l'intérieur de manière à coincer l'extrémité annulaire 23 dans le logement 16. Ceci est faisable en réalisant le logement 16 avec une épaisseur légèrement inférieure à l'épaisseur de l'extrémité 23 du manchon 21. Ce rabat périphérique annulaire 13 qui forme ainsi un logement d'insertion 16 permet l'accrochage de l'habillage sur le corps de la bague.
Afin d'assurer un positionnement stable de l'habillage, les pattes ou la collerette 22 de la bague sont en contact avec la paroi intérieure du corps 11 de l'habillage. Les pattes ou la collerette servent ainsi de moyens de guidage et de maintien en position de l'extrémité inférieure de l'habillage 1.
Selon une forme de réalisation préférée, l'extrémité inférieure du corps h de 1'habillage 1 est pourvue de moyens de retenue sous la forme d'une ou de plusieurs projections internes qui coopèrent avec le corps 2 de la bague. Cette ou ces projections internes peuvent se présenter sous les formes les plus diverses à condition de faire saillie vers l'intérieur en formant un épaulement orienté vers le haut. Selon une forme pratique de réalisation, étant donné que l'habillage est réalisé en métal, ces moyens de retenue peuvent tre réalisés sous la forme d'un repli vers l'intérieur de l'extrémité périphérique inférieure de 1'habillage sur elle-mme comme on peut le voir sur les figures 1,2 et 2b.
Ainsi, l'extrémité inférieure de l'habillage 1 peut coopérer par encliquetage avec les pattes ou la collerette que forme le corps 2 de la bague comme on peut le voir sur la figure 1. Les extrémités libres des pattes 22 ou l'extrémité libre périphérique de la collerette 22 viennent en prise avec l'épaulement que forme le repli 12 de l'habillage 1. Du fait que la bague 2 est réalisée en matière plastique, les pattes ou la collerette 22 présentent une certaine élasticité, ce qui permet de compenser les tolérances de fabrication de l'habillage 1.
Bien que les moyens d'accrochage prévus à l'extrémité supérieure de 1'habillage 1 sont suffisants pour assurer un positionnement stable et solide, l'adjonction de moyens de retenue à l'extrémité inférieure de l'habillage permettant un encliquetage assure une mise sous tension de l'habillage 1 entre ses deux extrémités, ce qui contribue encore davantage à la stabilité de la fixation de 1'habillage.

The present invention relates to a fixing member, such as a ring or a turret, for fixing a fluid dispenser device, such as a pump or a valve to the neck of a reservoir. This type of fixing member is commonly used in the packaging of liquid or pasty product, in particular in the field of perfumery, cosmetics and pharmacy. The fixing member which is used to mount the pump or the valve on the reservoir containing the product to be dispensed generally comprises a body provided with reception means in general by snap-fastening to receive the pump or the valve and fixing means by screwing or by crimping on the tank neck.
In the case of a fixing ring for example, it extends from the neck of the tank upwards and thus masks the pump or the valve. For aesthetic reasons, the ring extends at least to the level of the lower end of the pusher when the pump or the valve is at rest. Thus, the ring provides an aesthetic junction between the reservoir and the pusher on which one presses to actuate the dispensing device.
In certain fields, and more particularly in perfumery and cosmetics, it is important that the distributor as a whole has an attractive aesthetic appearance. Consequently, it is common to dress the ring made of molded material, with a generally metallic covering. the outer wall of the ring is generally cylindrical and the covering which comes to coat it then takes the form of a simple cylinder which is force fitted onto the ring. The fixing of the covering on the ring is then simply carried out by the friction between them. A dispenser comprising such a dressed ring is described in document US Pat. No. 5,234,135 by the same inventor.
However, this cylindrical fitting technique cannot be used when the ring or the covering is not perfectly cylindrical.
On the other hand, this type of fitting of the covering does not allow rotation to be blocked, which can be inconvenient.
The document US Pat. No. 5,228,586 describes for example a dispenser in which a
hoop is fixed on a crimping ring by means of an upper shoulder and a lower cord which engage with the ring respectively above and below. The hoop is thus held on the ring while being able to turn on it.
It should be noted that this document is not a skin, but an indexing hoop.
The object of the present invention is to be able to fix a covering, even a non-cylindrical one, on a fixing member, which can also be non-cylindrical.
To do this, the subject of the present invention is a fixing member for fixing a fluid dispenser device such as a pump or a valve to a reservoir, said fixing member comprising a body provided with receiving means for receiving a dispensing device and means for fixing to the reservoir, and an external peripheral covering covering at least partially said body, said covering comprising hooking means cooperating with said body, said hooking means comprising teeth adapted to bite into the body.
Advantageously, the hooking means comprise an inwardly oriented peripheral flap defining an annular internal housing receiving one end of a sleeve formed by said body.
Preferably, the teeth are provided at the end of the flap.
In addition, said covering may be provided with retaining means cooperating with said body, the retaining means possibly comprising at least one internal projection cooperating by snap-fastening with said body.
According to one embodiment, the internal projection is formed by an inward folding of the peripheral end of the covering on itself.
On the other hand, the body is provided with latching means cooperating with the means for retaining the covering.
According to one embodiment, the latching means comprise several elastic latching tabs.
As a variant, the latching means comprise an elastic peripheral latching flange.
According to an aesthetic embodiment, it is possible that the covering has an ogival shape in vertical section.
The attachment means and the retaining means are provided on the covering respectively at the upper end and at the lower end of the covering, so that it is subjected to a tension between its two ends.
The invention will now be described more fully with reference to the accompanying drawings which give by way of nonlimiting example an embodiment of the present invention.

retaining means respectively, and FIG. 3 is a bottom view of the covering shown in FIG. 2.
In the example of Figure 1, there is shown a pump 3 surmounted by a pusher 4. Of course, it is quite possible to replace this pump 3 with a valve. Since the internal structure of the pump 3 is not critical to the present invention, it will not be described at all. The only part involved in the present invention is the body 31 of the pump. This pump 3 is equipped with a fixing member 2 which is in the form of a ring. The pump 3 thus equipped with its ring is ready to be mounted on the neck of a reservoir (not shown).
The ring is formed by a body 2 which conventionally comprises receiving means 26 which receive the upper end of the pump body by force snap-fastening, and fixing means 25 here in the form of an internal thread intended to cooperate with a corresponding thread provided on the neck of a tank (not shown). Of course, a fixing by crimping can be envisaged in place of the internal thread 25. In more detail, the body 2 of the ring is presented as a whole in the form of a cylinder which defines in its lower part a sleeve 27 provided internally of the internal thread 25 and in its upper part of a sleeve 21 which projects upwards and ends in an upper peripheral end 23. At the junction of the sleeves 21 and 27, the ring forms an annular flange 28 which extends inward.
The collar 28 is extended on its internal peripheral by a sleeve 29 which defines the receiving means 24 by snap-fastening for the upper end of the pump body 31.
Such a ring 2 is of a completely classic design.
However, according to the invention, the ring 2 forms, near the end 23 of the sleeve 21, an annular peripheral rim 26. As can be seen in FIG. 1, this annular peripheral rim 24 is produced by a thinning of the wall of the sleeve 21 at the upper end 23. On the other hand, the ring 2 is provided, at the lower end of the sleeve 27, with tabs distributed over the peripheral or with an elastic peripheral flange 22 which makes protruding outwards.
These tabs or this flange break the perfectly cylindrical appearance of the ring 2, so that it now has a conical or ogival overall shape.
For the aesthetic reasons described above, the ring 2 comprises a covering 1, preferably metallic, which covers the body 2 of the ring. As can be seen in FIGS. 1 and 2, this covering has a substantially ogival shape in cross section. To allow the attachment of this covering 1 to the body 2 of the ring, hooking means are provided which cooperate with the body 2.
According to the embodiment shown in Figure 1, these attachment means are located at the upper peripheral end of the covering 1 in the form of a peripheral flap 13 connected to the body 11 of the covering by an annular flange of connection 14. The flap 13 forms with the upper end of the body 11 of the covering 1, an annular internal housing 16 (FIG. 2a) in which the upper end 23 of the sleeve 21 is engaged.
According to the invention, the flap 13 is provided with teeth 15 oriented downwards inside the covering 1. These teeth 15 are adapted to bite into the rim 26 formed by the sleeve 21 near its end 23. By making the covering 1 in metal and the body of the ring 2 in plastic, it ensures good anchoring of the teeth 15 in the rim 24. The implantation of the teeth 15 in the rim 24 prevents any possibility of rotation of the covering on the body 2 of the ring.
As a variant or in combination with the teeth, the housing 16 can be made so that the end 23 of the sleeve 21 can be forcibly engaged inside so as to wedge the annular end 23 in the housing 16. This is feasible by making the housing 16 with a thickness slightly less than the thickness of the end 23 of the sleeve 21. This annular peripheral flap 13 which thus forms an insertion housing 16 allows the attachment of the covering on the body of the ring.
In order to ensure stable positioning of the covering, the tabs or the flange 22 of the ring are in contact with the inner wall of the body 11 of the covering. The tabs or the collar thus serve as means for guiding and holding in position the lower end of the covering 1.
According to a preferred embodiment, the lower end of the body h of the covering 1 is provided with retaining means in the form of one or more internal projections which cooperate with the body 2 of the ring. This or these internal projections may be in the most diverse forms provided that they protrude inwards by forming an upwardly facing shoulder. According to a practical embodiment, given that the covering is made of metal, these retaining means can be produced in the form of an inward folding of the lower peripheral end of the covering on itself as can be seen in Figures 1,2 and 2b.
Thus, the lower end of the covering 1 can cooperate by snap-fastening with the lugs or the flange formed by the body 2 of the ring as can be seen in FIG. 1. The free ends of the lugs 22 or the free end peripheral of the collar 22 come into engagement with the shoulder formed by the fold 12 of the covering 1. Because the ring 2 is made of plastic, the tabs or the collar 22 have a certain elasticity, which makes it possible to compensate for the manufacturing tolerances of the casing 1.
Although the hooking means provided at the upper end of the covering 1 are sufficient to ensure a stable and solid positioning, the addition of retaining means at the lower end of the covering allowing a snap-in ensures a setting under tension of the covering 1 between its two ends, which contributes even more to the stability of the fixing of the covering.
