Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the general field of games; she relates in particular to a strategy game played with at least two players, from batches of game pieces and a game grid made up of a plurality of juxtaposed vertical troughs in which can be stacked said game pieces to form rows and columns.
  • the game grid has a relatively flat parallelepiped shape.
  • This grid is consisting of two parallel planar faces connected by partitions which delimit the juxtaposed chutes.
  • the two parallel flat faces have circular openings for viewing game pieces stacked in chutes.
  • the game grid is carried by a base which ensures its maintenance in a vertical plane.
  • the juxtaposed troughs are open at the top for allow the insertion of game pieces; a retractable bottom provides retention parts and emptying them from the bottom when the game is over.
  • a device for game comprising a grid whose structure is similar to that which has just been described, adapted to receive game pieces so as to form a first game; this grid is associated with a housing comprising a tray provided of reservations (or orifices) on which can be positioned game pieces to make a second game.
  • the present invention proposes to improve the games which bring into play works of game pieces and a grid made up of a plurality of chutes parallel, to increase the strategic possibilities and consequently to increase its appeal.
  • the game comprises means making it possible to invert the game grid so as to reverse the position of its lower and upper edges
  • the game grid comprises means allowing a removable closure of the two ends. juxtaposed chutes.
  • This structure allows players to take turns inserting a game piece into the troughs of the receiving grid, in order to try to form a geometric figure (line, cross, arrow ...) defined in advance , using its own parts.
  • players can decide to flip the grid to change the position of the game pieces, according to their own strategy or to disrupt that of the opponent.
  • the upper end of the troughs is closed by the shutter means provided on the corresponding edge of the game grid, the grid is turned over, then the shutter means which previously formed the shutdown are deactivated. bottom of the chutes and which are now arranged in the upper part, to allow new insertions of game pieces by the upper end of said chutes.
  • the game grid can be fixedly mounted on its support frame; in this case, it is the chassis / grid assembly that can be turned over, said chassis being then structured to ensure stable positioning of the grid, vertically, one way or the other.
  • the game grid is articulated on its support frame around a horizontal axis to allow its turning by 180 ° pivoting; the grid then also includes means which allow it to be locked in a vertical position on the support frame.

  • the upper face of this plate may include accommodation for receiving game pieces;
  • this base can consist of a half-cylinder arranged under the grid 1 and whose opening is oriented upwards to form a chute of receipt of game pieces.
  • the game grid 1 Before starting the game, the game grid 1 is locked vertically on its support frame 2; the shutter means 23, 24 of its lower edge are activated to form the bottom of the troughs 3, and the shutter means 23, 24 of its upper edge are deactivated to allow the insertion of the game pieces 4.
  • the players take turns inserting a game piece 4 into the vertical troughs 3, with the aim of trying to form, with their own pieces, a geometrical figure defined in advance, for example a line of a certain number of pieces, a cross, a star, an arrow ...
  • players have the possibility of turning game grid 1 to modify the respective positioning of game pieces 4, either according to their own strategy, or to thwart that of the opponent, or both at the same time; it is possible, for example, to provide a possibility of reversal at each turn or every two turns.
  • the shutter means 23, 24 are activated, which are arranged at the level of the upper end edge of the game grid; the grid is pivoted about its horizontal axis of rotation 8 then, after having locked the pins 12 in their latching system 14, the shutter system 23, 24 is deactivated which is now positioned at the edge upper end of the grid and which previously formed the bottom of the troughs 3, in order to allow new insertions of game pieces.
  • the game ends when the predefined figure (s) have been performed by one of the players, or according to a different defined rule in advance.
  • this game can be played with more than two players, the number of different game pieces being adapted accordingly.
