Definitions

  • Such a vacuum cleaner mouthpiece is known from DE-A-195 28 768.
  • floor coverings e.g. Hard floors, long- or short-pile carpets
  • the surface lying on the floor covering to be vacuumed and the suction channel of the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece must be designed accordingly.
  • an adjustable additional part is therefore attached to the underside of the mouthpiece, which can be adjusted according to the nature of the surface to be extracted.
  • at least the support surface of the vacuum cleaner nozzle can be changed so that the best possible cleaning result is achieved.
  • the suction channel itself remains unchanged, so that the cleaning result cannot be optimal.
  • the achievement of the object is achieved according to the invention in that several suction channels are provided on the mouthpiece part, specially adapted for suction on different floor coverings, which can optionally be coupled in terms of flow to the suction nozzle.
  • the geometry of the individual suction channels can be designed such that an optimal cleaning result is achieved with the correspondingly assigned floor covering. This is when the respective suction channel is used effective contact surface of the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece also adapted accordingly for achieving an optimal cleaning result.
  • Suctional activation of a suction channel specially designed for a specific floor covering is achieved in a simple manner in that the mouthpiece part is rotatably connected about a vertical axis to the upper housing part provided with the suction nozzle and can be blocked in a position corresponding to the working direction of the respective suction channel.
  • a suction pipe connected to the suction pipe By means of a suction pipe connected to the suction pipe, a pivoting movement can be exerted on the upper housing part until it locks in a position corresponding to the working direction of the desired suction channel with the mouthpiece part, so that this position is maintained when working with the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece.
  • a bristle strip with respect to the working direction of the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece is arranged behind one of the suction channels running parallel to the latter, and a further bristle strip oriented perpendicular to the one bristle strip in the area of the triangular tip of the lower part of the mouthpiece opposite the suction channel in question is provided.
  • a relatively stable support of the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece is achieved by means of the bristle strips when vacuuming on smooth and hard floors.
  • the mouthpiece part is designed as a roller body which is provided with a plurality of suction channels and is rotatably arranged in the mouthpiece housing, the suction channels being able to be coupled in terms of flow to the connecting channel by correspondingly rotating the roller body.
  • FIG. 2 a vacuum cleaner mouthpiece in a partial section along the line l-l
  • FIG. 4 shows a side view of a vacuum cleaner mouthpiece which is provided with additional support rollers on its rear side
  • a mouthpiece part of a vacuum cleaner mouthpiece 2 is designated.
  • the mouthpiece part 1 is triangular and rotatably arranged on a vertical journal 3 of an upper housing part 4.
  • a connecting channel 7 leads to the front of the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece 2 in the interior of the upper housing part 4.
  • a first, second and third suction channel 8, 9 and 10 are formed on the mouthpiece part 1.
  • the three suction channels 8-10 run essentially parallel to the three sides of the mouthpiece part 1.
  • the first suction channel 8 is specially designed for suction work on hard or smooth floors.
  • a bristle strip 11 is arranged behind the first suction channel 8.
  • Another bristle bar 12 is aligned perpendicular to the one bristle bar 11 and is attached in the region of the triangular tip 13 opposite the first suction channel 8.
  • the one bristle strip 11 is attached to the free end of a pivotably mounted lever arm 14.
  • the second suction channel 9 is specially designed for suctioning loose or long-fledged carpets. Its geometry is designed so that the best possible cleaning results are achieved with such a type of carpet. Attention is also paid to maintaining an adequate pushing force. Thread lifters 17 are also arranged on both longitudinal sides of the second suction channel 9.
  • the third suction channel 10 is finally designed for suctioning off solid or short-pile carpets.
  • a thread lifter 17 is also assigned to this suction channel 10 on one long side. There is also the possibility of installing this suction channel 10 thread lifter 17 on both longitudinal sides.
  • FIG. 3 shows the three setting options of the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece 2. I denote the working position for the first suction duct 8, II the working position for the second suction duct 9 and III the working position for the third suction duct 10.
  • the mouthpiece part 1 and the upper housing part 4 are pivoted, these two parts can be held in the respective position by latching, in which one of the three suction channels 8 or 9 or 10 is activated by suction. This makes it possible to work properly in the different positions of the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece 2.
  • a roller body 20 is rotatably arranged in the upper housing part 4 of the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece 2.
  • the roller body 20 has three suction channels 8-10.
  • the roller body 20 is advantageously hollow and provided with through openings 21 on its circumference in the areas lying between the suction channels 8-10.
  • the suction channels 8-10 are fluidly connected to the cavity 22 of the roller body 20.
  • the roller body 20 is inserted into a hollow channel-shaped receiving channel 23 provided in the upper housing part.
  • the receiving channel 23 On the underside of the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece 2, the receiving channel 23 has an interruption on its circumference, through which the respectively active fourth suction channel 8 or 9 or 10 emerges freely from the receiving channel 23 and can thus be guided over a floor surface to be cleaned.
  • the receiving channel 23 is provided with a connecting opening, so that a flow connection between the connecting channel 7 and the cavity 22 of the roller body 20 and thus with the respectively activated suction channel is made via the corresponding passage opening 21 of the roller body 20 8 or 9 or 10.
  • the remaining suction channels and the corresponding passage openings 21 are covered by the wall of the receiving channel 23 and are inactive in terms of flow.
  • a rotary handle can be provided on one or both sides of the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece 2.
  • the roller body 20 can be held in the respectively set position by means of corresponding latching.
