Abstract

Eine Gasentladungslampe, ausgerüstet mit einer Elektrode (2), die einen Träger aus einem Elektrodenmetall, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe des Wolframs und der wolframhaltigen Legierungen, und eine erste Beschichtung aus einem ersten elektronenemittierenden Material, das ein Erdalkalimetalloxid, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe Calciumoxid, Strontiumoxid und Bariumoxid, und ein Seltenerdmetalloxid, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe Scandiumoxid, Yttriumoxid und Europiumoxid in einem Anteil a von 0.1 bis 10 Gew.-% enthält, umfasst, zeichnet sich durch eine verlängerte Lebensdauer, eine erhöhte Vergiftungsresistenz und robustes Verhalten bei schnellem Schalten sowie eine kurze Zündphase aus.
