Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a pole and in particular a ski pole of the type comprising its upper end a grip handle.
  • this handle In ski poles this handle is generally provided with a closed loop strap called wrist strap, which is integral with said handle and in which the skier passes his hand to avoid losing his stick when he unexpectedly releases the closure of his hand on the handle.
  • the strap also has the function of allowing better transmission of efforts, especially in the support phase on the pole, either for turns in alpine skiing, or for striding or skating step in cross-country skiing, either for skating in line or ice skating but also for the practice of sport walking.
  • a wrist strap must therefore be passed so as to encircle partially the wrist, the two end strands of the loop connected to the handle passing through the palm of the hand.
  • the sticks used in particular for the cross country skiing include a wrist strap which is traditionally connected to the face back of the handle. According to this arrangement, the hand rests on the strap, on the side internal, at the metacarpal bone of the thumb on the thumb muscle.
  • this support achieved on a muscle is ineffective and can be painful for said muscle.
  • WO- A- 92/04953 proposes a handle of stick having an L shape cooperating with the cutting edge of the hand which prevents any mutual pivoting movement of the hand by batting
  • the present invention therefore aims to further improve the existing handles and offer an improvement allowing an optimized transmission of forces between the hand of the skier and the handle of the stick, in particular a ski stick, whether or not it is provided with a wrist strap, and that it is integrated into the stick or the glove. It also aims improve grip and contact between the hand and the handle of the stick by ensuring frank and powerful contact.
  • the invention relates to a stick of the type comprising at its upper end a grip handle with or without a closed loop strap or strap, or integral with said handle, either integrated into a glove or the like slipping on the hand of a user and connected to the handle by a removable connection system, consisting of means of additional fastening arranged on the one hand on said handle and on the other hand on the strap integrated into the glove, characterized in that said handle comprises a fulcrum, emerging in protrusion from its side wall and able to cooperate in support with the thumb of a user, so as to constitute an additional means of axial force transmission, by said thumb.
  • a stick of the type comprising at its upper end a grip handle with or without a closed loop strap or strap, or integral with said handle, either integrated into a glove or the like slipping on the hand of a user and connected to the handle by a removable connection system, consisting of means of additional fastening arranged on the one hand on said handle and on the other hand on the strap integrated into the glove, characterized in that
  • the support is fixed on the handle of the stick.
  • the support is substantially mobile in rotation relative to to the handle in order to best follow the movements of the hand during the impulse phase on the stick.
  • the present invention also relates to the characteristics which will emerge during the description which follows, and which should be considered in isolation or according to all their possible technical combinations.
  • Figure 1 shows an example of application of the invention to a stick, in this case ski pole 1 which comprises a handle 2, object of the invention, intended to be grasped by the hand of a user on which a glove has preferably been put on 3.
