Abstract

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verdunsterblock 10, der aus einem Saugfähigen Material z.B. aus Papier hergestellt ist und ein Mittel zur Verhinderung einer Keimbildung enthält.
Erfindungsgemäß besteht dabei das Mittel zur Verhinderung der Keimbildung aus entsprechendem, in das saugfähige Material eingebetteten Fasern.
Bevorzugt kommen dabei Fasern in Form von Olefinfasern in Betracht.
Vorteilhafterweise sind die Fasern homogen im saugfähigen Material verteilt und der Anteil der Fasern am Gesamtvolumen des verwendeten Materials beträgt etwa 10-40%.
Der Vorteil der Erfindung besteht darin, daß die Fasern aus dem übrigen Material nicht ausgewaschen werden können, so daß die eine Keimbildung verhindernde Wirkung des erfindungsgemäßen Verdunsterblockes 10 unabhängig von seiner Nutzungsdauer gewährleistet ist.
