Abstract
Une unité de cathode (100) à chauffage direct comprend un émetteur (110) en alliage métallique présentant au moins deux surfaces latérales parallèles (113, 115) s'étendant transversalement par rapport à un axe géométrique longitudinal pénétrant une base, deux filaments de chauffage (120, 150) présentant des parties centrales (121, 131) soudées sur deux surfaces latérales (113, 115) de l'émetteur (110), les surfaces latérales (113, 115) étant parallèles les unes aux autres et opposées mutuellement, un support (150) de cathode doté de broches de support (143, 144) d'alimentation en courant, et des supports de chauffage (141, 142) auxquels les deux extrémités des filaments de chauffage (120, 130), par paire, sont connectées aux broches de support (143, 144) d'alimentation en courant, et connectées aux broches de support (143, 144) d'alimentation en courant de manière que l'axe vertical du support (150) de la cathode coïncide avec l'axe vertical de l'émetteur (110). Le canon à électrons utilisant l'unité de cathode (110) à chauffage direct comprend une unité de commande, une électrode d'écran ainsi qu'une pluralité d'électrodes de focalisation, disposées de manière séquentielle à partir de l'unité de cathode (100).
