Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for redirecting light as well - Blanking for stationary use in a translucent building facade for targeted lighting of an interior with at least one translucent optical element, which has a flat light entry side and a Light exit side provides that from a first curved interface as well is bounded by at least one second interface, the curvature of the the first interface is designed such that light rays emerging from a first Solid angle area hit the light entry side and into the optical element couple to the area by total reflection at the first interface the second interface and that rays of light coming from a impinge the second solid angle area on the light entry side and into the optical Couple the element through the first interface from the optical element escape.
- An above-mentioned device for light deflection and suppression is in DE 196 13 222 A1.
- the in the above publication Device shown is the targeted shading of sunlight that on translucent building facades for interior lighting.
- That the known device underlying optical operating principle is through the The spatial geometry of an optical one that fades out or fades out sunlight Element predefined and based on the light concentration as well the deflection of light from solar radiation within a defined Angle of incidence range, d. H.
- the optical element is capable of all those sun rays to focus on that from a given first solid angle range optical element come in and all other sun rays are corresponding diverted.
- FIG. 2 in which the Operating principle of the known optical element is shown.
- Figure 2 shows four optical elements C shown in longitudinal section and arranged next to one another which each have a common light entry side A.
- Each one optical element C has continuously curved side walls, each with a Complete the newly formed light exit side D.
- the optical element C can either uniaxial linear or rotationally symmetrical or biaxial or be cut diagonally.
- the curvature of the side walls of the Optical element C is designed such that light rays that are directed onto the Incident light entry side A from a solid angle area B, in the way of Total reflection on the side surfaces inside the optical element on the Light exit side D are concentrated.
- the light exit side is preferably D provided with a coating E which either absorbs the radiation or in reflected the entrance half space B.
- the optical element shown above as an optimal form of one Edge jet principle is constructed, are the bounding edges between the Side walls and the light exit side for the function of the optical element critical areas, especially at these edges with a corresponding angle of incidence Light the maximum radiation concentration occurs. Due to manufacturing The optical element experiences rounded edges in particular in Looking through a light intensity increase along the boundary edges that the optical appearance of the device is severely impaired.
- the invention has for its object a device for redirecting light and blanking for stationary use with a translucent Building facade for targeted lighting of an interior with at least one translucent optical element, according to the preamble of claim 1 to further develop in such a way that on the one hand the Transition edges between the side walls and the light exit surface excessive light intensities should be avoided.
- Possibilities to create the effort in the manufacture of such optical Reduce elements in particular due to the high tolerance requirements is conditional.
- measures should be taken to make an adjustment to enable the effective angular ranges.
- the translucent optical element is flat has trained light entry side and provides a light exit side that from a first curved interface and at least from a second Interface is limited, the curvature of the first interface such is formed that light rays that from a first solid angle range on the Strike the light entry side and couple into the optical element by means of Total reflection at the first interface onto the area of the second interface be concentrated and that rays of light coming from a second Solid angle area hit the light entry side and into the optical element couple in, exit the optical element through the first interface, further developed such that the second interface is also continuously curved is formed, and that the first and the second interface seamlessly with a Connect constant curvature behavior to each other.
- the measure according to the invention avoids that between the side walls of the optical element and the light exit side edges occur along whose light intensity increases occur. That way trained optical elements can in particular in a simple Manufacturing process step can be obtained, for example in the context of a Casting process with which the complete shape of the optical element is available.
- the curved second interface can also completely with a coating, for example with a dip varnish be provided, for example, backscattering the light in the To effect entry half-space, provided you have a dip varnish with appropriate Choose reflectivity.
- the area of the coating extends over the entire Area of the second interface, i.e.
- the optical function corresponds of the optical element designed according to the invention is exactly that optical element Function of the optical element known per se, since likewise the entire one Radiation that would strike the original light exit surface into the would be thrown back.
- the change in the invention trained form is, however, on the one hand of great product technology Advantage especially since any sharp edges are avoided.
- Coating in the area the second interface optical elements with different Transmission angle characteristics can be produced.
- asymmetrical angular characteristics based on symmetrical Basic shapes of the optical elements are generated. If the deviations are too large of the symmetrical printing or coating, however Back reflection in the entrance half-space less, especially since some of the radiation too is transmitted through the unprinted side areas of the optical element.
- Figure 1a is a longitudinal section through four optical arranged side by side Elements C shown, as it were the representation of Figure 2 to the state of the Technology. It is essential that on the side wall region of the optical element C, which represents the first interface G1, the second interface G2 continuously connects.
- the interface G2 has a continuous curvature and avoids any Edges, especially in the seam area between the interface G1 and the interface G2.
- the interface G2 is covered with a coating E.
- the Coating can be designed to be reflective in such a way that light rays that hit the coating in G1 within the optical element be reflected back, so that from the half space B into the optical element coupled light rays emerge again in this half space.
- the All-over interface G2 i.e. H. up to cutting line I with coating E provided, it is optically according to the optical element known per se to equate with the aforementioned German published application.
- FIG. 1b Embodiment shown in which by moving the printed or coated area E on the interface G2 a corresponding asymmetry the optical element is forced. This ensures that the Masking range can be set individually.
