Vorzugsweise ist die Klappschachtel in diesem Bereich mit einem Fenster (34) versehen.

Klappschachtel für Zigaretten
Beschrei bung
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Klappschachtel (Hi nge-Li d-Packung) , insbesondere für Zigaretten, im wesentlichen bestehend aus einem Schachtel tei 1 , einem schwenkbaren Deckel und einem mit einem unteren Teilbereich im Schachtel tei 1 verankerten Kragen, wobei in der Klappschachtel ein aus einem gesonderten Zuschnitt bestehender Druckträger bzw. Coupon angeordnet ist.
In der Zigarettenindustrie wird es mehr und mehr üblich, Zigarettenpackungen Druckträger beizufügen, die dem Verbraucher In- formationen vermitteln oder als Coupon für die Teilnahme an Veranstaltungen berechtigen. Die Beigabe der als gesonderter Zuschnitt ausgebildeten Druckträger soll zum einen verbraucherwirksam positioniert und zum anderen in die Herstellung der Zigarettenpackungen problemlos integrierbar sein.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine verbesserte Anordnung und Präsentation eines Druckträgers in einer Klappschachtel vorzuschlagen.
Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist die erfindungsgemäße Klappschachtel dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Druckträger bzw. Coupon zwischen einer Kragen-Vorderwand des Kragens einerseits und einer Schachtel -Vorderwand des Schachtel tei 1 s andererseits positioniert ist.
Der bei Klappschachteln übliche Kragen ist mit Kragen-Vorderwand und Kragen-Seitenlappen im Schachtel tei 1 angeordnet unter Anlage an Schachtel -Vorderwand und Schachtel -Sei tenwänden . Zwischen der Kragen-Vorderwand und der Schachtel -Vorderwand ist erfindungsgemäß der Druckträger angeordnet, so dass die Kragen- Vorderwand vorzugsweise bis zur oberen Begrenzung des Packungsinhalts (Zigarettengruppe) durch den Druckträger überdeckt ist. Bei Ingebrauchnahme der Packung wird deshalb zuerst der Druckträger herausgezogen und kann so dem beabsichtigten Zweck zuge- führt werden. Besonders vorteilhaft ist die erfindungsgemäße Anordnung des Druckträgers bei Klappschachteln, die im Bereich der Packungsvorderseite, nämlich zwischen Deckel -Vorderwand und Schachtel- Vorderwand, eine Öffnung aufweisen, ein sogenanntes Fenster, die bzw. das einen Teilbereich der Kragen-Vorderwand bei geschlossener Klappschachtel freilässt. Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Anordnung des Druckträgers ist dieser im Bereich des Fensters von außen auch bei geschlossener Klappschachtel sichtbar, so dass Informationen an den Verbraucher bei geschlossener Klappschachtel bzw. vor Ingebrauchnahme derselben vermittelt werden können durch Bedruckung des Druckträgers insbesondere im Bereich des Fensters.
Die erfindungsgemäße Anordnung des Druckträgers eröffnet neuartige Möglichkeiten für die Verbindung des Kragens mit dem Schachtel tei 1 einerseits und für die Verbindung des Druckträgers mit Teilen der Klappschachtel.
Weitere Einzelheiten der Erfindung werden nachfolgend anhand von in den Zeichnungen dargestellten Ausführungsbeispielen von Klappschachteln und deren Teilen näher erläutert. Es zeigt:

Eine Klappschachtel bzw. Hi nge-Lid-Packung aus (dünnem) Karton besteht üblicherweise aus einem (unteren) Schachtel tei 1 10 und einem Deckel 11. Dieser ist im Bereich einer Schachtel -Rückwand 12 einerseits und einer Deckel -Rückwand 13 andererseits über ein Liniengelenk 14 mit dem Schachtel tei 1 10 schwenkbar verbunden.
Zu einer Klappschachtel gehört weiterhin ein Kragen 15, bestehend aus Kragen-Vorderwand 16 und Kragen-Seitenlappen 17. Der Kragen 15 ist standardmäßig so gestaltet, dass im Bereich der Kragen-Vorderwand 16 eine Ausnehmung 18 gebildet ist. Diese er- streckt sich im oberen Bereich der Kragen-Vorderwand 16 und erleichtert den Zugang zum Packungsinhalt, nämlich zu den Zigaretten. Der Kragen 15 ist im oberen Bereich des Schachtel tei 1 s 10 positioniert, derart, dass die Kragen-Vorderwand 16 einer Schachtel -Vorderwand 19 und die Kragen-Seitenlappen Schachtel- Seitenwänden 20, 21 zugekehrt sind bzw. an diesen anliegen.
Die Klappschachteln können hinsichtlich der Gestaltung der Zuschnitte in unterschiedlicher Weise ausgebildet sein. Bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 1 bis Fig. 4 ist der Zuschnitt (Fig. 3, Fig. 4) bzw. die daraus hergestellte Packung nach dem Prinzip des Querwickeins aufgebaut. Der Zuschnitt weist nebeneinanderliegende Bereiche auf für die Schachtel -Rückwand 12, die Schachtel -Vorderwand 19 und die Schachtel -Sei tenwände 20, 21. An einem freien Rand der Schachtel -Rückwand 12 ist ein (schmalerer) Verbi πdungsl appen 22 angeordnet. Dieser ist bei fertigen Klappschachtel innenseitig mit der gegenüberliegenden Schachtel -Sei tenwand 21 verbunden.
Der Deckel 11 als Teil des Zuschnitts ist in analoger Weise ausgebildet mit nebeneinanderliegender Deckel -Rückwand 13, einer Deckel -Vorderwand 23 und Deckel -Sei tenwänden 24, 25.
Faltlappen für eine obere Stirnwand, nämlich Innenlappen 26 und ein äußerer Decklappen 27 sind mit korrespondierenden Teilen des Deckels 11 verbunden. Analog sind Bodenlappen angeordnet, nämlich Innenlappen 28 und Decklappen 29. Der Zuschnitt bzw. die Packung ist zweckmäßigerweise nach Maßgabe von DE 199 12 995.9 ausgebildet.
Der Kragen 15 ist bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 1 bis Fig. 4 einstückig mit dem Zuschnitt der Klappschachtel verbun- den. Im Bereich des Deckels 11 schließt der Kragen an die Innenlappen 26 an, ist jedoch von diesen durch Stanzschnitte getrennt. Die Verbindung mit dem Schachtel zuschni tt erfolgt im Bereich von aufrechten Packungskanten 30, die hier als Rundkanten ausgebildet sind. In der deckel sei tigen Verlängerung dieser Packungskanten 30 sind dreieckförmige Verbindungszwickel 31 gebildet, die den Zusammenhalt mit dem Packungszuschnitt gewährleisten. Des weiteren ist im Anschluss an die Deckel -Vorderwand 23 ein weiterer Innenlappen 32 der Stirnwand gebildet. Dieser hat eine Kontur, die der Ausnehmung 18 in der Kragen-Vorderwand 16 entspricht.
Bei der Fertigung der Klappschachtel gemäß Fig. 1 bis Fig. 4 wird zunächst der Kragen 15 gegen die Innenseite des Zuschnitts umgefaltet, wobei die Verbindungszwickel 31 im Bereich einer Gelenkverbindung 33 mit umgefaltet werden. Der Kragen 15 hat nach diesem Faltschritt (Fig. 4) die packungsgerechte Position. Die Verbindung mit dem Innenlappen 32 ist dabei beseitigt wor- den, so dass dieser Innenlappen 32 als Teil der Stirnwand freiliegt. Der Zuschnitt kann nun in der üblichen Weise gefaltet werden, um eine Klappschachtel gemäß Fig. 1 bzw. Fig. 2 zu schaffen.
Die Klappschachtel weist als Besonderheit ein Fenster 34 auf. Dieses ist im Bereich der Packungsvorderseite gebildet, nämlich zwischen der Deckel -Vorderwand 23 und der Schachtel -Vorderwand 19. Das Fenster 34 entsteht durch einen Abstand zwischen einer Schließkante 35 des Deckels 11 und einer Gegenschi ießkante 36 des Schachtel tei 1 s 10. Beide Schließkanten 35, 36 sind mit einem Abstand voneinander angeordnet und ggf. konturiert.
Bei dem vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel entsteht das Fenster 34 durch Bildung eines Deckel -Innenl appens 37. Dieser befindet sich an der Innenseite der Deckel -Vorderwand 23 und ist mit dieser verbunden. Innerhalb des Zuschnitts (Fig. 3, Fig. 4) ist der Deckel -Innenl appen 37 als Teilbereich der Schachtel -Vorderwand 19 definiert durch eine entsprechende Stanzlinie. In einem ersten Faltschritt (Fig. 3) wird der Deckel -Innenl appen 37 umgefaltet gegen die Innenseite der Deckel -Vorderwand 23 (Fig. 3). Danach werden die weiteren Faltschritte vollzogen.
Die Klappschachtel ist mit einer Beigabe versehen, nämlich mit einem aus einem separaten Zuschnitt gebildeten Druckträger 38. Dieser besteht aus Papier oder dünner Folie und ist ein- oder beidseitig bedruckt mit Informationen, Werbung etc. Der Druckträger 38 ist hier als rechteckiger Zuschnitt ausgebildet und innerhalb der Klappschachtel an der Vorderseite derselben posi- tioniert. Die Besonderheit besteht darin, dass der Druckträger 38 zwischen dem Kragen 15 bzw. der Kragen-Vorderwand 16 einerseits und der Schachtel -Vorderwand 19 andererseits liegt. Bei entsprechender Abmessung wird demnach die Kragen-Vorderwand 16, einschließlich der Ausnehmung 18, durch den Zuschnitt bzw. Druckträger 38 abgedeckt (Fig. 1). Bei dem gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel ist der Druckträger 38 so bemessen, dass er sich etwa über die volle Höhe und Breite erstreckt, jeweils mit ge- ringen Abständen von der Bodenwand einerseits und der Stirnwand andererseits. Bei Klappschachteln mit Rundkanten oder mit abgeschrägten Kanten (Achteck-Packung) erstreckt sich der Druckträger 38 zweckmäßigerweise außerhalb der entsprechend ausgebilde- ten Packungskanten 30.
Der Druckträger 38 befindet sich auch im Bereich des Fensters 34 und ist zweckmäßigerweise in diesem Bereich mit in sich geschlossenen, informatorischen Bedruckungen versehen. Beim Öff- nen des Deckels 11 liegt ein oberer Teilbereich des Druckträgers 38 vollständig frei und kann aufgrund der Positionierung vor dem Kragen 15 leicht entnommen, nämlich aus der Packung herausgezogen werden.
Bei dem Beispiel gemäß Fig. 1 bis Fig. 4 ist die Klappschachtel großformatig ausgebildet und dient zur Aufnahme einer Gruppe von Zigarettenpackungen 39. Diese sind in zwei Teilgruppen zu je fünf Zigarettenpackungen 39 übereinander innerhalb der Klappschachtel positioniert. Es ist deshalb möglich, einen ver- hältnismäßig großflächigen Druckträger 38 innerhalb der Klappschachtel zu positionieren.
Fig. 5 bis Fig. 9 befassen sich mit Einzelheiten einer Klappschachtel für Zigaretten, die in der Grundkonstruktion in her- kömmlicher Weise ausgebildet ist, jedoch mit aufrechten Packungskanten 30 in Gestalt von Rundkanten. Weiterhin ist ein in besonderer Weise gestaltetes Fenster 40 an der Packungsvorderseite gebildet. Dieses hat eine annähernd V-förmige Kontur mit entsprechend V-förmig verlaufender Schließkante 35 und Ge- genschl ießkante 36.
Der Zuschnitt für diese Packung ist in herkömmlicher Weise nach dem Bodenfaltprinzip ausgebildet (Fig. 7). Schachtel -Vorderwand 19, Schachtel -Rückwand 12, Deckel -Rückwand 13 und Deckel-Vorderwand 23 sind in Längsrichtung des Zuschnitts aufeinanderfolgend angeordnet. Des weiteren ist eine Bodenwand 41 und eine Stirnwand 42 in dieser Folge angeordnet. Schachtel -Sei tenwände und Deckel -Sei tenwände bestehen im vorliegenden Falle aus jeweils zwei überei nanderl i egenden Schachtel -Sei tenl appen 43 und 44 sowie entsprechenden Deckel -Sei tenl appen 45, 46. Ein Deckel- Innenlappen besteht im vorliegenden Falle aus zwei unter einem Winkel zueinander gerichteten Teillappen 47, 48.
Der Kragen 15 besteht bei dieser Ausführungsform einer Klappschachtel aus einem gesonderten Zuschnitt (Fig. 8). Der Kragen ist in der beschriebenen, üblichen Weise innerhalb des Schach- telteils 10 positioniert. Die Ausnehmung 18 in der Kragen-Vorderwand 16 ist an die (V-förmige) Gestalt der Schließkanten 35, 36 angepasst.
Auch bei dieser Klappschachtel ist ein Druckträger 49 zwischen Kragen-Vorderwand 16 und Schachtel -Vorderwand 19 positioniert, vorzugsweise über die volle Höhe der Packung bzw. bis zur oberen Begrenzung des Kragens 15. Der Druckträger 49 ist im Bereich des Fensters 40 sichtbar.
Durch die Anordnung eines Druckträgers 38, 49, der sich im wesentlichen über die volle Breite der Vorderseite der Packung erstreckt, ist eine Verbindung des Kragens 15 mit dem Schachtelteil 10 nur im Bereich der Kragen-Seitenlappen 17 möglich. Die Schachtel -Sei tenwände 20, 21 bzw. die innenliegenden Schachtel -Sei tenl appen 43 sind innenseitig mit Leimmarkierungen versehen, im vorliegenden Falle mit zwei übereinander angeordneten Leimpunkten 50. Diese werden vorzugsweise auf die vereinzelten Zuschnitte innenseitig aufgebracht, bevor die Zuschnitte in einen Faltrevolver eingeführt werden. Der üblicherweise mit dem Packungsinhalt (Zigarettenblock) zugeführte Kragen 15 wird bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 5 bis Fig. 9 innerhalb des Faltrevolvers über die Leimpunkte 50 mit der Klappschachtel bzw. den Schachtel -Sei tenwänden 20, 21 verbunden.
Alternativ können Druckträger 38, 49 verwendet werden, die eine geringere Breite haben als die der Kragen-Vorderwand 16, so dass bei mittiger Anordnung der Druckträger 38, 49 seitlich freie Bereiche der Kragen-Vorderwand 16 entstehen. Hier können Leimmarkierungen vorgesehen werden. Bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel der Fig. 8 sind zwei Leimpunkte 51, 52 jeweils zu beiden Seiten eines (nicht gezeigten), schmaleren Druckträgers 49 angeordnet. Der Druckträger kann bei dieser Ausführung auch in Querrichtung gefaltet sein.
Bei der Fertigung von Klappschachteln mit Druckträger 38, 49 kann in unterschiedlicher Weise verfahren werden. Bei dem Aus- führungsbei spiel gemäß Fig. 1 bis Fig. 4 wird der Druckträger 38 auf den weitgehend ungefalteten Zuschnitt (Fig. 3) innenseitig aufgelegt (gestrichelte Linien). Zuvor ist allerdings bereits der Deckel -Innenl appen 37 gefaltet. Der Druckträger 38 kann in dieser Stellung durch leicht lösbare, also geringe Haftwirkung ausübende Leimpunkte fixiert sein. Es ist aber auch möglich, den Druckträger 38 in der gezeigten Position durch Leimpunkte in der Ausführung "Sti ck-No-Sti ck" zu fixieren. Dieser (bekannte) Leimtyp ist geeignet, für eine begrenzte zeitliche Dauer eine klebende bzw. verbindende Wirkung auszuüben. Danach zerfällt der Leim bzw. die klebende Wirkung endet.
Mit Leim dieser Ausführung kann der Coupon 49 mit Hilfe der Leimpunkte 51, 52 an der Außenseite des Kragens 15 bzw. der Kragen-Vorderwand 16 während der Herstellungsdauer der Packung fixiert sein. Dabei wird zweckmäßigerweise so vorgegangen, dass der Kragen 15 in üblicher Weise mit dem Packungsinhalt - Zigarettenblock - durch Auflegen auf diesen vereinigt und sodann auf die nach oben gerichtete Kragen-Vorderwand 16 der Druckträger 49 aufgelegt und durch die Leimpunkte 51, 52 gehalten wird. Die so gebildete Einheit aus Zigarettenblock, Kragen 15 und Druckträger 49 wird der teilweise gefalteten Packung zugeführt.
Der Druckträger 49 kann auch in sinnvoller Weise mit einer bei Klappschachteln üblichen Innenumhüllung der Zigarettengruppe (Stanniol, Papier oder Folie) vereinigt werden. Die Innenumhüllung ist üblicherweise mit einer Abziehlasche im Bereich der Vorderseite versehen (sogenannter Flap). Mit diesem kann der obere Bereich des Druckträgers 49 verbunden sein, so dass beim Herausziehen des Flaps bei Ingebrauchnahme der Zigarettenpackung automatisch der Druckträger 49 mit aus der Packung herausgezogen wird.
Die Klappschachtel kann hinsichtlich der Gestaltung des Fensters 34 bzw. 40 in unterschiedlicher Weise ausgebildet sein, insbesondere unter Anpassung an die Ausgestaltung des Druckträgers 38, 49. Beispiele für die Form des Fensters ergeben sich aus DE 198 58 786.4.

Claims

Patentansprüche
1. Klappschachtel (Hi nge-Lid-Packung) , insbesondere für Zigaretten, im wesentlichen bestehend aus einem Schachtel tei 1 (10), einem Deckel (11) und einem im Schachtel tei 1 verankerten Kragen (15) mit Kragen-Vorderwand (16) und Kragen-Seitenlappen (17), wobei in der Klappschachtel ein aus einem gesonderten Zuschnitt bestehender Druckträger (38, 49) bzw. Coupon angeordnet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Druckträger (38, 49) zwischen der Kragen-Vorderwand (16) und einer Schachtel -Vorderwand (19) des Schachtel tei 1 s (10) positioniert ist.
2. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Kragen (15) (ausschließlich) im Bereich der Kragen- Seitenlappen (17) mit dem Schachtel tei 1 (10) verbunden ist, insbesondere durch Verkleben mit Schachtel -Sei tenwänden (20, 21).
3. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich der Druckträger (38, 49) über die volle Breite der Kragen-Vorderwand (16) und vorzugsweise etwa über die volle Höhe der Klappschachtel erstreckt.
4. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der ggf. gefaltete Druckträger" (38, 49) eine deutlich geringere Breite aufweist als die Kragen-Vorderwand (16) und dass diese in einem Bereich neben dem Druckträger (38, 49) mit der Schachtel -Vorderwand (19) verbunden ist.
5. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Druckträger (38,
49) im Bereich eines frontseitigen Fensters (34, 40) angeordnet ist, derart, dass ein Teilbereich des Druckträgers (38, 49) durch das Fenster (34, 40) von außen bei geschlossener Klappschachtel sichtbar ist.
6. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Druckträger (38, 49) zeitweilig, nämlich mindestens während der Herstellung der Klappschachtel, durch Leim an der Kragen-Vorderwand (16) befestigt ist, vorzugsweise durch einen nach einer gewissen Zeit die Klebewirkung verlierenden Leim.
