Definitions

  • the invention relates to a roller shutter attachment for a window for installation in a roller shutter box of a window reveal with a winding shaft and a roller shutter and a window with such a roller shutter attachment.
  • the installation of windows and the corresponding roller shutters is generally carried out as two separate units, in which the window company installs the windows and the roller shutter company the shutters.
  • This separate installation of windows and shutters means that two assembly dates are required with the resulting inconvenience and expense.
  • a coordination between roller shutter manufacturer and window manufacturer is required to correctly pick windows and corresponding shutters.
  • roller shutter boxes Furthermore, in the old building renovation often requires a complex renovation of the old shutter box. This is in fact usually a crucial heat and sound bridge.
  • the insulation and sound insulation of roller shutter boxes is relatively expensive because the shutter boxes must be filled with tailored in shape and cut to the particular room situation in the roller shutter box insulation and insulation material.
  • FR 2783 864 A discloses a roller shutter attachment for a window with the features of the preamble of claim 1 known. Further shutter boxes are known from DE 298 11 577 U and DE 200 02 983 U.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a roller shutter attachment for a window and a corresponding window, which are characterized by a cost-effective and easy to install and improved thermal insulation, especially in old building retrofits, and beyond the appearance of the window do not affect.
  • the roller shutter attachment for a window has a receiving space with a winding shaft and a roller shutter, wherein the receiving space for installation in a roller shutter box of a window sash is suitable and adjoins the receiving space, a coupling portion with an outlet opening for the roller shutter, which is substantially parallel extends to the window frame and is arranged on the upper spar of the window frame.
  • a heat-covering cover is further provided on an arcuate inner panel of the receiving space.
  • This roller shutter attachment according to the invention offers the possibility to produce windows and shutters as a complete package from a single source in a simple manner, wherein windows and shutters can be picked together. Furthermore, the roller shutter attachment according to the invention completely disappears in the already existing roller shutter box of the window reveal, whereby a pleasing and homogeneous appearance of the window can be achieved. Since the roller shutter attachment according to the invention is housed with its receiving space in the old rolling box, there is also no need to coat the items of the roller shutter attachment consuming the color of the window, resulting in a cost-effective production and a variable combination of any window shapes and colors and the roller shutter set can achieve.
  • roller shutter attachment Another positive effect of the roller shutter attachment according to the invention is that the roller shutter shell is converted from a so-called “left roller” to a “right roller". This version is visually more appealing and is preferred by the customers.
  • roller shutter attachment Due to the possibility to pre-assemble the roller shutter attachment on the window, the roller shutter can already be checked for functionality prior to installation, so that any errors in advance can be easily eliminated. Any necessary subsequent roller shutter repair can be easily performed by opening the access panel located on the inspection flap. Furthermore, it is possible to replace the complete roller shutter attachment.
  • the roller shutter attachment according to the invention the heat losses are greatly reduced through the roller box, as the heat loss source by installing the roller shutter in the old shutter box only the outlet opening for the roller shutter remains in the coupling section, but which opens into the closed receiving space of the roller shutter attachment. This ensures that the cold outside air can no longer flow into the existing, old roller shutter box and thus only the low insulation of the mostly insufficiently insulated old roller shutter box to the interior exists.
  • the cold outside air can now penetrate only through the brush or rubber seal optimized outlet opening for the roller shutter in the coupling section in the smaller new shutter box.
  • an air cushion is created in the "disused" space of the old shutter box, which has no connection to the outside climate; through this air cushion, a further improvement of the insulation is achieved.
  • This "shut down" space may also be supplemented with insulation materials such as e.g. Insulating wool to be isolated, which leads to a further improvement of the thermal insulation.
  • the heat-insulating cover provided on the inner panel of the receiving space provides improved thermal insulation in the roller shutter box.
  • the inner panel and the cover are designed in two parts, wherein the individual sections via joint connections, preferably groove-spring-like locking devices, are interconnected so that the lower portions of the inner panel and cover can be solved to easily to be able to carry out maintenance of the rolling-stock with built-in roller shutter attachment. It is also preferred that the coupling block and the lower portion of the cover are designed so that they are engaged by the built-in roller shutter inspection cover and held in position. This configuration allows for easy installation of the roller shutter attachment or a problem-free opening in the context of a maintenance operation.
  • roller shutter attachment according to the invention also improved soundproofing is achieved because additional sound barriers are introduced into the critical area "roller shutters" by the optimized by means of seals outlet opening of the roller shutter and introduced into the old shutter box and self-contained new shutter box.
  • a seal is provided in the coupling portion, past which the roller shutter. This seal ensures improved thermal insulation.
  • the outside penetrating sound is further attenuated by the seal.
  • the seal is preferably formed as a brush or rubber seal.
  • the rail on the coupling portion of the roller shutter attachment part of a roller shutter guide rail which is formed circumferentially on the window frame.
  • This design ensures on the one hand a pleasing and homogeneous appearance, since the roller shutter shell is completely framed by the roller shutter guide rail and thus windows and shutters "like a cast" act.
  • the revolving roller shutter guide rail provides for an improved roller shutter guide and also allows a complete functional test of the roller shutter before the installation of the window. This This is particularly useful for electrically operated shutters, as here the limit switch must be set exactly to the extension length of the roller shutter. This adjustment is conventionally carried out only after installation of the shutter locally, since the extension length depends on the position of the window outer bank.
  • a circumferential roller shutter rail with a lower horizontal end rail, the end position of the roller shutter is precisely defined, so that the limit switch can be pre-set in the factory.
  • roller shutter guide rail with the window frame, resulting in a compact window frame structure, which is visually particularly pleasing.
  • the roller shutter attachment can then be easily pre-assembled on the window. For this purpose, only the receiving space by means of special adapter side parts, ie the coupling panel and the coupling block on the upper rail with the outlet opening for the roller shutter armor must be placed.
  • the shutter attachment 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is preassembled on a window marked 2.
  • the window has an outer shell 21, on which a circumferential roller shutter guide rail 22 is mounted.
  • This circumferential roller shutter guide rail 22 is preferably formed integrally with the outer shell 21.
  • the outer shell 21 is - as the cross section in Fig. 2 shows - connected via plastic bridges 23 with an inner shell 24. Through these plastic bridges 23 is provided for a thermal decoupling of outer and inner shell.
  • the roller shutter guide rail 22 is designed substantially so that the two lateral rail sections 222 and the bottom transverse rail section 223 are U-shaped. These guide rail areas, as the cross section in Fig. 2 shows, on its bottom surface on a substantially rectangular first lower hollow chamber 41, which extends over the entire bottom. To this first hollow chamber 41, a second upper hollow chamber 42 is formed vertically in a front portion, which forms the outer leg of the guide rail.
  • the two hollow chambers 41, 42 of the guide rail contribute to a substantial stiffening and thereby provide an additional safeguard against breakage. This is achieved, in particular, by virtue of the fact that the two hollow chambers 41, 42 form an L-shape with two buckling points which are spaced apart from one another, which makes bending over difficult. Furthermore, it is possible to use the two hollow chambers 41, 42 with burglary-reducing materials, such as e.g. Steel or Kevelar, which also provides a bullet-proof security, to refill.
  • burglary-reducing materials such as e.g. Steel or Ke
  • a narrow, in cross-section C-shaped exception 43 is further provided on the inside, in which a preferably made of rubber T-shaped spacer 44 is arranged.
  • This inner leg 45 is also preferably part of the outer shell 21 of the window frame.
  • a narrow, in cross-section C-shaped exception 46 is further provided in the analogous to the exception 43 in the hollow chamber 42 engages a rubber seal 47, which in turn serves as a spacer.
  • a securing element 48 as shown in Fig. 2 C, may be provided, which has the shape of a claw head.
  • This formed as a claw head securing element 48 is arranged so that it is spaced in an unloaded position of the rolling rods 51 of a roller shutter shell 5, which extend in the respective guide rail areas.
  • the roller shutter e.g. is then deflected by an attack attempt from the outside then perpendicular to the direction, then engages the fuse element in the deflected roll bar and thus prevents withdrawal of the roller shutter.
  • the structure of the upper horizontal rail section 221 of the circumferential guide rail 22 substantially corresponds to the lateral rail sections 222 and the lower rail section 223.
  • the upper guide rail section 221 has no bottom hollow chamber. Instead, a continuous outlet opening 49 is provided for the roller shutter shell 5. On this transverse upper guide rail portion 221 of the roller shutter attachment 1 is placed.
  • the roller shutter attachment 1 has, as shown particularly in FIGS. 2 A and 2 D, a receiving space 11 for a winding shaft 12 and the roller shutter shell 5.
  • the receiving space 11 is composed of a front outer panel 111, a rear inner panel 112 and laterally arranged lids 113 together.
  • the outer panel 111 is designed substantially planar, whereas the inner panel 112 has a rounded arcuate cross-section. Alternatively, the inner panel 112 may be formed in cross-section, however, also U-shaped.
  • the outer panel 111 is preferably coupled to the inner panel 112 in an upper edge region via a latching profile. In the lower edge region, however, the inner panel 112 is of the outer panel 111 with a passage gap spaced for the roller shutter 5.
  • the winding shaft 12 is guided in bearings (not shown) disposed on the two side covers 113.
  • a push-up protection 15 is further provided for the roller shutter shell 5, which prevents a lowered roller shutter can be pushed back into the receiving space 1.
  • the receiving space 11 of the roller shutter attachment 1 is, as shown in particular the detail view in Fig. 2 B, connected via a coupling portion 14 with the transverse upper guide rail portion 221 and the adjoining formed by the inner and outer shell upper window spar.
  • the coupling portion 14 is composed essentially of a front coupling panel 141 and a cross-sectionally L-shaped rear coupling block 142, wherein the coupling panel 141 and coupling block 142 are arranged so that a passage 143 for the roller shutter shell 5 remains.
  • the front coupling panel 141 has at its upper portion a U-shaped rail 146, in which the lower edge of the outer panel 111 of the receiving space 11 engages.
  • the lower portion of the coupling aperture 141 is placed on the vertically extending hollow chamber 42 of the upper guide rail portion 121.
  • the upper guide rail section 121 preferably has a plane outer panel 421 which is connected to the vertically running hollow chamber 42, on the inner side of which the lower edge of the coupling panel 141 is attached.
  • the coupling diaphragm 141 can in this case be fixed to the inside of the leg, for example by welding, be connected, but also be held by releasable fasteners, such as locking elements.
  • the coupling block 141 opposite, in cross-section L-shaped coupling block 142 is preferably clamped loosely between the outer window frame 21, plastic bridge 23 and inner shell 22 formed upper window frame spar and the inner panel 112 of the receiving space 11.
  • an angular stop 25 is further attached to the inner shell 22, on which the coupling block 142 abuts with the lower portion of its rear side.
  • the front side of the coupling block 142 is preferably rounded in its upper portion so as to produce a substantially edgeless transition between the lower edge of the inner panel 112 of the receiving space 11 and the coupling block 142. This prevents that rolling rods 51 of the roller shutter shell 5 can hook when pulling up.
  • a sealing tape 144 is preferably arranged, which provides in particular for a reliable heat seal and sound insulation.
  • the rear coupling block 142 of the coupling section 14 can also be fixedly connected to the inner panel 112 of the receiving space 11 or parts of the upper window frame member via connecting elements.
  • roller shutter attachment 1 on the window can also be arranged laterally on the covers 113 and retaining profiles 16, as shown in Fig. 1, which are secured to the outer window 21 and inner shell 22 formed lateral window frame beams.
  • the window roller shutter combination shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is preferably completely assembled before installation in the window reveal. As a result, the assembly time for the installation of windows and shutters in the window reveal is significantly reduced. About that In addition, a complete function test of the roller shutter can be carried out at the factory prior to installation in the window reveal. This is particularly helpful when the roller shutter 5 is electrically operated and then a limit switch (not shown) on the winding shaft 12 must be set exactly to the extension length of the roller shutter shell 5.
  • this adjustment can now already be carried out at the factory after assembly of the roller shutter attachment 1 on the window 2 before installation in the window reveal.
  • the self-contained roller shutter attachment 1 When installing the window 2 preassembled with the roller shutter attachment 1 into the window reveal, the self-contained roller shutter attachment 1 can be inserted, as shown in FIGS. 2 A and 2 D, essentially completely in an existing roller shutter box 6 in FIG Lintel disappears.
  • the transverse upper guide rail portion 221 then starts with its outer panel 421 at the lower edge of the outer panel 61 of the shutter box 6, wherein for improved thermal and acoustic insulation in addition a sealing band 66 in the connection region, as shown in Fig. 2, may be provided.
  • the inner coupling block 142 of the coupling portion 14 is preferably aligned with its angular recording parallel to the lower edge of the inner panel 62 of the shutter box 6 when installed in the window soffit, so that an inspection cover 63 of the shutter box 6, as shown in Fig. 2A, safely in clamp this angle-shaped receptacle.
  • the receiving space 11 of the roller shutter attachment 1 is preferably made of aluminum, which allows a strong reduction in noise can be achieved.
  • a seal 7 which is arranged in the coupling portion 14 in the passage slot 143 for the roller shutter.
  • This seal 7 can - as shown in the embodiment in Fig. 2B - be formed as a brush seal, which is arranged at the lower portion of the coupling diaphragm 141.
  • the coupling panel 141 of the coupling portion 14 for the roller shutter attachment 1 is preferably made of the same as the receiving space 11 made of aluminum.
  • the rear coupling block 142 is preferably made of heat-insulating and sound-absorbing material, preferably the same material from which the inspection cover 63 of the roller shutter box 6 is made. Since the roller shutter attachment 1 completely disappears when installed in the roller shutter box 6 therein, it is not necessary to color match this roller shutter attachment to the window frame or the circumferential roller shutter guide rail 22, whereby an additional expensive coating process can be saved. By the circumferential guide rail 22 a pleasing and homogeneous appearance of the window outside is achieved beyond.
  • the guide rail 22 also ensures reliable guidance of the roller shutter shell 5, wherein preferably burglary-resistant devices are attached to this guide rail.
  • securing elements 48 shown in FIG. 2C against pulling out of the rolling rods 51 it is also possible to provide additional screwing devices (not shown) to be locked on the circumferential guide rail from the inside of the room, with which a lowered roller shutter curtain can be reliably and simply against being pushed up.
