Definitions
- the invention relates to a roller for guiding, in particular for Pressing web-shaped materials, a manufacturing process such a roller, a jacket for making a such a roller, a method for changing the jacket of such Roller and use of such a jacket and one Material according to the definition of the claims.
- rollers for guiding or pressure treatment of web-shaped Materials are essentially cylindrical Geometry on. They consist of a load-bearing, hard inside Core, made of metal such as steel and one, the Core enclosing on one long side and firmly connected to it elastic jacket made of elastomers. For example, find such rollers use as bending presses for gravure printing systems, where they press evenly against a backing roll guarantee.
- the document DE-195 17 653 shows an improvement in this regard, by the structure of the elastomer layer wrap and its vulcanization to a coat and pulling the coat on the Core is separated.
- the coat is prefabricated as a sleeve and pressurized to the adhesive agent Core pulled. Because of the separation of the process steps fully automatic manufacture of the jacket becomes possible. Also the transport and storage of the rollers are simplified because only still change coats have to be delivered. Finally done pulling the jacket onto the core quickly.
- the elastic jacket is exposed to high frictional forces during operation. Large flexing works also take place in the coat. hereby the roller is heated to a considerable extent, which heat about the core must be removed. Because of the different Coefficient of thermal expansion of the core and cladding materials, as well as due to the unbalance caused by flexing high mechanical stresses on the roller. In particular kick high mechanical stresses at the connection from the core to the jacket on what weakens the connection between the core and the cladding and triggers and leads to failures. It is therefore desirable to have a permanently stable, high-strength connection between the jacket and Core to reduce the failure rates of rollers during operation lower and to increase the life of the rollers.
- a worn jacket is replaced by the jacket material down to the core. Injuries often occur of the core through the turning tool, which leads to failures.
- the core is then cleaned and provided with a bonding agent. Finally a new coat is put on. It is desirable therefore, a simple, quick and safe procedure for changing the coat, to reduce the failure rates of cores when changing shells lower and to change a coat faster.
- the object of the present invention is therefore the disadvantages to avoid the known, especially rolling, processes and uses of the kind described to create a permanent stable and high-strength connection between jacket and core to achieve.
- the invention is intended to be a method of manufacture create such a roller, which roller simple and inexpensive can be produced. There is also a procedure for changing of the coat with which the coat can be created quickly, easily and can be exchanged safely.
- the roller, its manufacturing process and the method of changing the sheath should in particular with proven standards of paper, printing, steel, Textile and film / film industry to be compatible.
- the invention particularly improves the connection of the jacket and core of a roller.
- the jacket material by means of a layer directly with the core material connected.

- Such an attachment layer is advantageously 0.5 to 15 mm thick, preferably 4 to 8 mm thick and consists of a low-viscosity, cross-linking material, preferably made of a two-component plastic.
- the core and sheath material is through this attachment layer bonded together and simultaneously separated from each other. This makes it easy to attach the jacket allows on the core.
- the core is often made of steel and the jacket is made of elastomeric material.
- Steel has a high modulus of elasticity of around 200,000 N / mm 2 , while elastomers have a low modulus of elasticity of 15 to 250 N / mm 2 .
- the difference between these elasticity modules is 3 orders of magnitude.
- a material for the fastening layer can thus be selected, the modulus of elasticity of which reduces the difference between the modulus of elasticity of the core and the jacket.
- the fastening layer advantageously consists of epoxy resin with a modulus of elasticity of 800 to 1,000 N / mm 2 , so that the difference between the moduli of elasticity is reduced by an order of magnitude.
- the roller is also manufactured in a departure from the im State-of-the-art methods.
- Core and Coat made separately, with the core, for example, the Form of a solid cylinder, or a tube, etc. and the jacket has the shape of a hollow cylinder.
- technology is the inside diameter of the jacket larger than the outside diameter of the Core.
- the Sheath is not pulled onto the core as in the prior art, but the core and the mantle become one in this space filled or pressed material connected together.
- the core of the Centered inner wall spaced in the cavity of the jacket is advantageously carried out via centering pieces.
- Core and jacket have the same longitudinal axis, core outer wall and The inner wall of the jacket is equidistant from one another.
- the educated one The space between the core and the jacket is made with one material filled.
- the material is a cross-linking plastic, preferred a two-component material. The material hardens in Gap largely without shrinkage to an attachment layer and thus connects the core and the jacket.
- the core outer wall and the inner shell wall have a smooth surface.
- the outer layer of the core can be roughened or with structuring, which roughening or Structuring a positive engagement of the mounting layer enable with the core.
- the inside wall or with textures are provided, which roughening or structuring one positive engagement of the fastening layer with the jacket enable.
- the jacket is also changed in a departure from the prior art.
- a worn coat has been replaced so far that the worn coat is turned down to the core, often The turning tool can injure the core.
- the core is then cleaned, provided with adhesion promoter and a new coat is put on.
- the method according to the invention Change of coat a worn coat not to the core, but just turned down to the mounting layer. Due to the thickness of the attachment layer, injuries to the Kerns avoided by the turning tool.
- the attachment layer is at least partially reduced in thickness. thereupon the core including the reduced-thickness mounting layer in the Positioned the cavity of a new jacket and the gap between the core or the reduced-thickness fastening layer and filled the jacket with a viscous material, which The material solidifies into an attachment layer.
