Definitions
- the present invention relates to a nozzle operating at different pressure levels and a washing system equipped with this nozzle.
- the present invention aims to overcome these drawbacks.
- nozzle operating at low and high pressure characterized in that it comprises an inlet channel dividing into two dedicated channels, one for high pressure and the other for low pressure, each channel having a nozzle adapted to the pressure corresponding and a valve with a spring cooperating with a member mobile closure, the characteristics of each nozzle and the calibration of the spring of the associated valve being determined so as to allow automatic switching from one valve to another.
- the nozzle advantageously comprises two independent sprinklers whose characteristics can therefore be optimized for both low and high pressure operation optimized, and an automatic switching system using robust mechanical parts, the movable member can be a simple metal ball.
- a pressure is advantageously provided between each valve and nozzle, the dimensions of which can also be configured to achieve the automatic nozzle switching.
- each nozzle can be its angle opening and its flow.
- each spring is a function of the high and low pressure chosen as well as the field of application (in a particular, for industrial vehicles etc.). These characteristics can be the diameter, stiffness and length of the spring.
- a cleaning system comprising means for establishing a high pressure in fluid cleaning, means for establishing a low pressure in said fluid cleaning means for alternately supplying fluid high or low pressure cleaning in a cleaning lance fitted a nozzle, characterized in that said nozzle has the characteristics stated according to the invention.
- the system according to the invention comprises a water buffer tank 1 supplying a booster 2 designed to raise the water pressure to a so-called low pressure, here 7.5 bars. Leaving the booster 2 divides into a branch 3 supplying a softener of water 4 and a branch 5 supplying via a solenoid valve 6 a pump high pressure 7 intended to raise the water pressure to a pressure so-called high pressure, here 100 bars.
- the softener 4 outlet is also divides into two branches: the first branch 8 supplies via a non-return valve 9 a boiler 10 provided for raising the temperature of the water leaving the softener 4 and then delivering to a mixing manifold 11, via a solenoid valve 12 and a valve 13, warm softened water, here at 50 ° C; the second branch 14 supplies via a solenoid valve 15 also the high pressure pump 7. Water hard or softened exiting at high pressure from this pump 7 supplies the feeder mixer 11 via a non-return valve 16. The feeder mixer 11 also receives foaming soap via a valve 17 which is withdrawn using a metering pump 18 in a tank 19. The manifold 11 also still receives compressed air at 6 bars via a valve 20.
- This lance 21 comprises a two-position weeping trigger 24 for blocking or unblock the water supply in channel 25 of nozzle 22.
- One unit control center (not shown) controls the operation of the system according to programmed parameters, such as values of low and high pressure, the boiler heating temperature, the dose of foaming soap or the hardness of the water at the outlet of softener, and as instructed by the system user.
- the system can operate in one washing mode and two washing modes rinsing. In the washing mode, the feeder 11 is supplied with hot water softened at low pressure, air tablet and foaming soap. The two rinsing modes are with cold water either softened or hard.
- trigger 24 operates a switch (not shown) connected to the central control unit of the system, then pull the trigger again to release the water outlet.
- the nozzle 22 has a single inlet channel 25 dividing into two low pressure 26 and high pressure 27 channels.
- Each channel 26, 27 comprises, starting from the inlet channel 25, a straight portion respectively 26a, 27a, deviating from the general axis A of the channel 25 at an angle of about 20 °, then a straight portion respectively 26b, 27b in which a shoulder is formed respectively 26c, 27c widening the diameter of this straight portion to the end of the nozzle.
- the end portion of the straight portions 26b and 27b is threaded for securing a valve, respectively 28, 29, and a nozzle 30 and 31 between which is defined a pressure chamber 32 and 33 respectively.
- Each valve 28, 29 has a skirt respectively 28a, 29a, defining a housing respectively 28b, 29b for a spring calibrated in stainless steel respectively 34, 35, said skirt comprising at its end opposite the nozzle a flange, respectively 28c, 29c, defining an opening, respectively 28d, 29d, entering the pressure chamber 32, 33 respectively and the opposite face of the housing respectively 28b, 29b, serves as a face support at one end of the spring respectively 34, 35.
- the outer end part of the skirt, respectively 28th, 29th is threaded to cooperate with the walls of the associated channel 26, 27.
- the skirt 28a, 29a takes support on a washer, respectively 36, 37, itself wedged on the shoulder respectively 26c, 27c, of the channel respectively 26, 27, said washer defining an inlet opening respectively 38, 39 in the valve.
- the movable member for closing each valve cooperating on the one hand with the free end of the valve spring, respectively 40, 41, and, on the other hand, with the inlet opening of the valve, respectively 38, 39, consists of a metal ball respectively 42, 43, here in stainless steel and 9 mm in diameter.
- Each nozzle 30, 31 has an external thread for its attachment to the end of the associated channel 26 or 27 and a calibrated bore respectively 30a, 31a for the pressurized liquid outlet washing or rinsing.
- valves 28, 29, and the nozzles 30, 31 of the low pressure 26 and high pressure 27 channels have different geometrical and physical characteristics to allow automatic switching from one channel to another when the user switches from one mode to another as explained above.
- the liquid arriving through the channel central 25 will enter parts 26a and 27a located before the low pressure and high pressure valves.
- the calibration of spring 35 is such that the low pressure applied to the ball 39 is not enough to move it. So only the low pressure side will be crossed by the liquid.
- the switching is will do as follows.
- the high pressure liquid enters the valve low pressure which remained open and we observe a very strong pressure build-up in the pressure chamber 32 due to the presence of the nozzle 30 which is not configured for such a pressure and which therefore constitutes an obstacle to the flow.
- the high pressure side valve 29 opened, leading also an increase in pressure in the upper chamber pressure 33 and at a flow rate adapted to this high pressure via the nozzle high pressure 31.
- the flow setting of the high pressure nozzle 31 has has the effect of reducing the inlet pressure of the nozzle 22 upstream valves by a pressure drop and the pressure at the inlet of the low pressure chamber 32 is then below the pressure in the low pressure chamber 32, which leads to a pressure negative differential and therefore a blockage of the low pressure valve. Switching is done automatically.
