Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Leuchte (10) mit Explosions-Schutz, einem zumindest einseitig eine Öffnung aufweisenden Hohlkörper zur Aufnahme für ein oder mehrere Leuchtmittel und einer Abdeckung (16), die auf der Öffnung (14) angeordnet ist, wobei der Hohlkörper eine im Bereich der Öffnung (14) umlaufende Wandung aufweist, die umlaufende Wandung eine öffnungsseitige Innenfläche und eine öffnungsseitige Außenfläche aufweist, und die Abdeckung (16) eine umlaufende Vertiefung mit einer inneren Wandung und einer äußeren Wandung aufweist.
Bei auf der Öffnung (14) angeordneter Abdeckung (16) kommt die umlaufende Wandung in der umlaufenden Vertiefung zu liegen, wobei zwischen öffnungsseitiger Innenfläche und innerer Wandung ein Innenspalt gebildet ist, und wobei zwischen öffnungsseitiger Außenfläche und äußerer Wandung ein Außenspalt gebildet ist. Der Außenspalt ist zumindest teilweise mit einer Vergussmasse (48) ausgefüllt, ebenso der Innenspalt.
