- the striking plate device 1 has numerous advantages.
- the device 1 can be used with jambs 18 having different widths and with locks having their locking members 17 located in different positions. Because the base 2 is relatively thin, the striking plate device 1 is also easily adapted to doors with profiled frames. In order to compensate for additional clearances between the door and jamb, it is possible to use additional washers or shims between the base 2 of the device 1 and the structure, without adversely affecting the securing of the stop 3 in position. This all leads to a drastic reduction in fitting time and consequently a reduction of cost. In addition to the saving of time and money, the striking plate device according to the invention allows unusually precise adjustment of the stop position of the locking members.
- the said stop 3 can have more than one aperture for receiving the locking members 17.
- the said apertures 12 can have shapes different from rectangles, and in particular they can be circular, for pin bolts.
- the said apertures 12 can be shaped differently from each other.
- a single aperture 12 is capable of receiving more than one locking member.
- the striking plate device 1 according to the present invention can be made from any type of material capable of withstanding the mechanical stresses during use, for example steel, aluminium, brass or synthetic material.
- the use of nylon and the forming of the individual elements of the striking plate device by press-moulding have been shown to be particularly advantageous.
- the said screws 4 and 4' can be ordinary screws, or self-tapping screws, for use with timber, aluminium, steel or synthetic frames, for example.

Claims (9)
- Schließblech, das ein oder mehrere schließelemente (17) eines Schlosses aufnehmen kann und das ausgelegt ist, um auf einem feststehenden Teil (18) einer Anordnung befestigt zu werden, welche mittels des Schlosses verriegelt werdensoll:mit einem befestigten Element (2), das an einem feststehenden Teil der Anordnung (18) befestigt werden kann undmit einem einstellbaren Element (3), das eine oder mehrere Öffnungen (12) aufweist, die das Schließelement oder die Schließelemente (17) des Schlosses aufnehmen können, wobei ein einstellbares Element (3) mit dem befestigten Element (2) einstellbar verbunden ist, wobei das befestigte Element (2) ein langgestrecktes Blech ist, das aufweist:wobei das einstellbare Element (3) ein langgestrecktes Blech ist:geriffelte Bereiche (7, 7') auf seiner Oberfläche, die der Oberfläche in Kontakt mit dem feststehenden Teil (18) der Anordnung gegenüber liegen und mit entsprechenden geriffelten Bereichen (13, 13') auf der Oberfläche des einstellbaren Elements (3) in Berührung kommen, das mit dem befestigten Element (2) in Berührung steht, wobei die geriffelten Bereiche (7, 7-) auf den beiden gegenüberliegenden schmalen Seiten des langgestreckten Blechs liegen,zwei vorsprünge (8, 8') mit trapezförmigen Profilen, die neben den geriffelten Bereichen (7, 7-) auf den beiden gegenüberliegenden schmalen Seiten des befestigte Elements (2) liegen, wobei die Vorsprünge (8, 8-) mit entsprechenden Führungskanälen (14, 14-) im Eingriff stehen können, die im einstellbaren Element (3) ausgebildet sind und Profile aufweisen, die komplementär zu denen der Vorsprünge (8, 8') sind, um eine Gleitverbindung zwischen dem befestigten Element (2) und dem einstellbaren Element (3) auszubilden,zwei DurehgangslScher (6, 6'), die jeweils in den beiden vorsprüngen (8, 8') liegen und Befestigungsschrauben (4, 4') aufnehmen können, um sowohl das einstellbare Element (3) am befestigten Element (2) zu verriegeln als auch das befestigte Element (2) am feststehenden Teil (18) zu befestigen,mit den beiden parallelen Führungskanälen (14, 14'), die auf den gegenüberliegenden schmalen Seiten liegen und zu einer der langen Kanten des einstellbaren Elements (3) hin offen sind,mit zwei parallelen Schlitzen (11, 11'), die sich entlang den Grundflächen der Führungskanäle (14, 14') erstrecken und die Befestigungsschrauben (4, 4') so aufnehmen können,dass der trapezförmige Eingriff der Vorsprünge (8, 8') in den Führungskanälen (14, 14') und der Eingriff der Befestigungsschrauben (4, 4') in den Schlitzen (11, 11') und in den Durchgangslöchern (6, 6') zusammen mit dem Eingriff der geriffelten Bereiche (7, 7', 13, 13') eine Einstellung der Position und die verriegelung des einstellbaren Elements (3) in Bezug auf das befestigte Element (2) ermöglichen.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, wobei die in die Schlitze (11, 11') des einstellbaren Elements (3) eingeführten Befestigungsschrauben (4, 4') durch die Durchgangslöcher (6, 6') des befestigten Elements (2) verlaufen und bei Verwendung in die im feststehenden Teil (18) der zu verriegelnden Anordnung vorgesehenen Löcher geschraubt werden.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei das befestigte Element (2) eine oder mehrere Ausnehmungen (9) an den möglichen Positionen der Schließelemente (17) aufweist.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, wobei das einstellbare Element (3) ein langgestrecktes Blech mit zwei im Wesentlichen parallelen Kanten ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4, wobei zumindest eine der Kanten auf der Oberfläche verjüngt ist, auf der die Schließelemente (17) während der Verriegelung gleiten.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, wobei zumindest eine der Öffnungen (12), die die Schließelemente (17) aufnehmen kann, eine im Wesentlichen rechteckige Form aufweist.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, wobei zumindest eine der Öffnungen (12), die die Schließelemente (17) aufnehmen kann, eine im Wesentlichen kreisförmige Form aufweist.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorausgehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Schlitze (11, 11-) angesenkt sind und die Köpfe der Befestigungsschrauben (4, 4') vollständig aufnehmen.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorausgehenden Ansprüche, die durch Druckgießen aus Nylon hergestellt ist.
