Claims (6)

  1. Appareil ménager commandé par programme comprenant une unité d'affichage optique composée d'un ou plusieurs éléments d'affichage permettant de représenter des informations d'utilisateur et de programme ainsi que des informations de contrôle et de service sous forme de texte clair et sous forme de symbole, un symbole et un caractère, en particulier une lettre, pouvant être représentés simultanément dans chaque élément d'affichage, caractérisé en ce que l'élément d'affichage est constitué d'une matrice de points de 8 x 5 pixels et une zone de 5 x 5 pixels est réservée à la représentation de lettres et une seconde zone de 3 x 5 pixels à la représentation de symboles.
  2. Appareil ménager selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'une réserve de symboles est attribuée à chaque caractère de telle manière qu'à l'affichage du caractère, seule la réserve de symboles, attribuée à ce caractère, puisse être activée ou représentée.
  3. Appareil ménager selon la revendication 1 et 2, caractérisé en ce que l'unité d'affichage est un afficheur, constitué d'éléments LCD avec une matrice de 5 x 8 pixels.
  4. Appareil ménager selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que chaque élément LCD est divisé en deux zones, aptes à être commandées séparément.
  5. Appareil ménager selon l'une des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce qu'une unité fonctionnelle resp. un module de l'appareil ménager est attribué(e) à chaque caractère et chaque état de fonctionnement de l'unité fonctionnelle resp. du module peut être représenté par un symbole.
  6. Appareil ménager selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que les symboles peuvent être choisis librement et en ce que l'on utilise comme lettres, de préférence, les lettres initiales des unités fonctionnelles resp. des modules.
