Definitions
- the invention relates to a weft insertion element for weaving machines stationary supply spools in the area of a fabric edge, with Gripper bars moving in from both sides of the fabric at the same time Reach in the shed and move against each other with the hook heads on the gripper bars, designed as a delivery head or as a slave head, the in the center a weft thread presented by the head of the Hand over the slave head, with means on the bringer head to capture a Weft on the fabric edge and to present this weft in the section, with centers for taking over and clamping the from Bringer head presented weft thread on the slave head, with bevels on the means for presenting and taking over the weft to limit the risk of collision between delivery head and Slave head, with guide surfaces on each gripper head for guiding the same on the warp threads delimiting the shed and with guide rails on each gripper head to guide it on the fins of the reed.
- Weft insertion elements of this type are, inter alia, by the DE 34 28 113 A1 known and are mainly on heavy looms used with a large working width. This includes and above all that Double-carpet weaving machines in which the two lie one above the other Weaving threads are entered at the same time.
- the relative in cross section because of the need for low mass weak and slightly trained gripper bars are made of fiber-reinforced Plastic.
- the best possible vibration-free guidance is to One with fixed guide means on the side outside of the shed and on the other hand within the shed through the reed and through guide plates engaging in the shed, which in turn have guide rails interact in the head area of the grippers, guaranteed.
- the guide rails in the area of the rapier head are the reed facing. You have a guide surface opposite the slats of the Reed and a along the direction of movement of the rapier Groove on the opposite side. This serves to engage the feet of the guide boards mentioned.
- the boards must be relative be tightly arranged so that at least in every phase of the movement two of the feet are engaged with the groove.
- the guide boards mainly splice the large-volume and less rotated Pile threads and u. U. also the binding warp threads. There are errors in Form of stripes in the fabric. The expected effects in terms of Weft insertion performance is not achieved.
- the means for taking over and presenting the weft thread on the head and the means for taking over the weft thread and for clamping of the thread up to the subject exit on the opposite side with regard to the mutual interaction in the weft transfer provided in the center with such a game that not even extreme vibrations of the rapier head in the shed Collision of these gripper bars.
- the dimensions of the gripper head in cross section are considerable Dimensions.
- the object of the present invention is a weft insertion member with gripper heads that can be moved against each other for the central weft transfer propose that significantly smaller cross-sectional dimensions and in a smaller shed at high weft insertion frequencies low vibration with high reliability can.
- the modification of the gripper heads according to claim 5 allows without separate guide elements, the damped, low-vibration guide the hook heads on the one hand on the warp thread coulters and on the other to realize the webs of the reed.
- the gripper heads can continue have reduced dimensions.
- the compartment height can be further reduced.
- the arrangement of the centering pins on the slave head - essentially parallel to the receiving hook - according to claim 8 optimizes the arrangement the means of presentation and takeover on the gripper heads.
- Claim 10 shows a further design option, the reduction the mass of the gripper head and to reduce the tendency to vibrate when accelerating the rapier into the shed leads into it.
- Fig. 1 shows a pair of rapier heads 3, 4, in the shed of a loom interacts in such a way that a first gripper head, the so-called Bringer head 3, a weft thread 9 before entering the shed detects, clamps and this weft 9 in the middle of the shed the second gripper head moved in the opposite direction, the Slave head 4, offers for takeover.
- the bringer head 3 is attached to the gripper bar 30 at the front end.
- a deflector plate 34, the coupling section 32, the gripper bar 30 and the guide rails 36 are screwed together 35 braced.
- Existing means for positive locking of the gripper bar 30 with the gripper head 3 are not shown.
- the kind of mutual Fastening is well known.
- the means 33 for detecting, clamping and presenting the Weft 9 arranged on the bringer head 3 .
- the weft 9 is by these means approximately in the area of the longitudinal axis of the gripper bar 30 transversely in itself known tensioned, clamped and presented.
- the centering sleeve 31 which has a bore 311 and a conical or arcuate entrance area 312 is provided.
- the slave gripper 4 is in the same way via a coupling section 422 connected to the gripper bar 40, as in relation to FIG Gripper head 3 has been described.
- the elements are a deflector plate 44, coupling section 422, gripper bar 40 and guide rail 46 held together by means of screws 45.
- the slave head 4 has the gripper bar 40 in the cross-sectional plane an immovable catch hook 431 and a resiliently movable one Clamping slide 432.
- the driver hook 431 is like this with its tip arranged that he the weft 9 positioned on the gripper 3 overlaps inside.
- the driver hook 431 also engages relatively little play between the means 33 for presenting the weft thread 9 on the bridle 3.
- the catch hook 431 is for Avoidance of possible collisions also rounded off at its tip.
- Paraliel to the driving hook 431 is on the slave head 4 in a warehouse 42 a centering pin 41 fixed.
- the centering pin 41 has one Shaft 411 and a tip 412.
- the centering pin 41 on the slave head 4 and the centering sleeve 31 on the delivery head 3 are in the stationary installation state the gripper rods 30, 40 aligned with each other with their axes.
- both gripper heads 3, 4 face each other in the middle of the compartment move, the tip of the centering pin 41 penetrates into the centering sleeve 31 on. Only when the axes of both elements are aligned and they lead each other positively, penetrates the tip of the catch hook 431 between the means 33 for presenting the weft thread 9 and thus initiates the takeover of the presented weft thread 9.
- the gripper heads 3, 4 have in the area of the centering sleeve 31 and clearly in the area of the bearing 42 for the centering pin 41 enlarged guide surfaces 313 and 421 for the warp threads 2 of the adjacent ones Shelf levels 21, 22, 23, 24.
- These guide surfaces 313, 421 have such a length that at the same time a sufficient number of Warp threads 2 are involved in guiding the rapier heads 3, 4.
- these guide surfaces are wide and with optimally designed run-on slopes provided for the warp threads.
- the warp threads 2 have a leading and also a for the rapier heads the vibrations of the same damping function.
- the warp threads 2 can with their elastic force, the gripper heads 3, 4 securely on the webs of the Guide reed 1.
- FIGS. 3 and 4 The manner in which the warp threads are guided is shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 for different gripper head shapes. It is clearly too recognize that the gripper heads 3, 4 and 5, 6 at obviously the smallest Friction can be guided almost positively in your shed.
- the centering 31, 41 is located laterally outside of the cross-sectional area of the gripper bars 3, 4, their Dimensions can be chosen relatively small. They reach the top management inside and thus ensure small compartment opening angles and a relative small stroke of the sley 1 at the weft.
- FIG. 4 is a variant of the present Invention shown, in which the centering 51, 63 approximately coaxial to the axis the gripper rods 30, 40 is arranged. While maintaining the size the means 63 (similar to 33) for performance and the means catch hook 53 (similar to 43) - to take over the weft thread 9 one reaches approximately the same opening angles and the same stroke sizes for the weft thread stop using a drawer.
- the execution of a to the gripper rods 30, 40 and the means for Transfer and takeover coaxial centering is shown schematically in Fig. 5 shown.
- the gripper 6 is in the cross-sectional area of the gripper bar 40 equipped with means 63 for presenting the weft thread 9.
- This Means 63 are provided in the front area with a centering tip 631, which takes effect earlier than the transfer area.
- the slave gripper 5 is provided with a centering sleeve 51, the one Bore 511 and an input area 512 coaxial to the desired Path of the gripper 6 has.
- the entrance area 512 of this centering sleeve 51 is at a clear distance arranged in front of the tip of the catch hook 53 and ensures together with the centering tip 631 of the carrier gripper 6 - here on the means 63 arranged for presentation - for centering the grabber 6 for Slave gripper 5 or vice versa. This can also be done with this version mutual play between the catch hook 53 and the guide elements the means 63 for presenting the weft thread 9 is very small be carried out.
- the advantage of this variant is that almost all Elements of the gripper heads 5, 6 on the longitudinal axis of the gripper bars 30, 40 can be aligned. This is particularly important when entering the rapier heads 5, 6 noticeable in the shed where the rapier rods 30, 40 are heavily loaded under pressure and the risk of buckling the gripper rods 30, 40 is given.
- the centering sleeve 51 is in this embodiment with a side Provide recess in which the weft thread 9 can be guided. Furthermore, the outside area in the section that the reed faces, be provided with a sliding surface 513. In this case can be on additional guide rails 36, 46 - as shown in the figures 1 and 2 were shown - waive. The mass of the gripper heads 5, 6 can be kept low in this version. Another downsizing the shed is compared to that described at the beginning However, it is hardly possible to implement an embodiment variant.
- Figures 6 and 7 show the same working elements as Fig. 1. One separate description of this figure is not required. The way of working and the structure are based on the description formulated for FIG. 1 became easy to understand.
- the essence of the present invention is that the gripper heads 3, 4; 5, 6 almost form-fitting in a very limited shed, so the natural deviations of the gripper heads per se on one Minimum are reduced.
