Abstract

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Behältnis (1) in Form einer mittels eines Deckels verschließbaren Dose, eines Beutels oder dergleichen zur Aufbewahrung von Lebensmitteln.
Es soll ein Behältnis (1) der gattungsgemäßen Art geschaffen werden, welches auf einfachste Art und Weise eine Verbesserung der Frischhaltung von Lebensmitteln ermöglicht und problemlos in jedem Haushalt verwendbar ist.
Dies wird dardurch erreicht, dass das Behältnis (1) mit einem durch Feuchtigkeit aktivierbaren Frischhaltemittel zur Erzeugung einer modifizierten Atmosphäre im Innenraum des Behältnisses (1) ausgestattet ist.
Ein derartiges Behältnis (1) kann in jedem Haushalt problemlos zur Aufbewahrung von Lebensmitteln verwendet werden und gewährleistet eine längere Frischhaltezeit dadurch, dass in seinem Innenraum - nach Einfüllen von Lebensmitteln und dem Verschließen des Behältnisses (1) - durch die von einem Lebensmittel abgegebene Feuchtigkeit und die damit einhergehende Aktivierung eines Frischhaltemittels eine modifizierte Atmosphäre erzeugt wird, die bislang nur im industriellen Bereich und unter Verwendung entsprechend aufwendiger Verpackungstechniken und Zubehöraggregaten erzielbar war.
