Abstract

Eine derartige Backofentür zum Verschließen der Beschickungsöffnung der Ofenmuffel eines Backofens besteht typischerweise aus einem Türrahmen (1), in dem beabstandet zueinander eine Glas-Frontscheibe (2) und eine Glas-Innenscheibe (3) gehaltert sind.
Die Innenscheibe (3) ist dabei betrieblich einem sehr hohen Temperaturgradienten vom Zentrum zum Randbereich hin ausgesetzt, was zu einer Verformung der Innenscheibe, einhergehend mit einem Abheben von der Muffeldichtung führt. Um dies zu vermeiden, sieht der Stand der Technik eine von Hause aus schalenförmig verformte Innenscheibe vor.
Da eine derartig verformte Innenscheibe nur sehr aufwändig herzustellen ist, sieht die Erfindung vor, daß die Innenscheibe (3) einen linearen Basisschenkel (3 a) mit an beiden Enden zur Innenscheibe hin abgewinkelten Seitenschenkeln (3 b, 3 c) aufweist.
