Definitions
- the invention relates to a snow sports hall with a snow slope arranged in it, which has a floor to which a layer of snow is applied or can be applied is, as well as with a refrigeration system that a snow cooling device for cooling the layer of snow.
- the invention also relates to a method for operating a such a snow sports hall.
- Snow sports halls are, for example, from EP-B-0 378 636, US-A-5,102,044, US-A-5,241,830 and US-A-5,272,883 known. They have a hall-shaped housing, in which is usually a sloping snow slope is. The profile of the snow slope is through a floor given on which a layer of snow by means of snow cannons is applied. Instead of snow cannons, too Water spray devices may be provided in the air Spray water above the snow slope, which Impact on the cold floor or the existing one Layer of snow freezes to snow (see US-A-5,241,830).
- Such snow sports halls are especially useful when the Outside temperature is significantly above 0 ° C, a high Energy consumption, even if its outer skin is well insulated is.
- a refrigeration system just like that low that the heat generated in the snow sports hall, caused by the people inside, Lamps, friction etc., dissipated and the layer of snow on Melting is prevented.
- the temperature of the air above the layer of snow and the temperature of the layer of snow itself essentially is kept the same, namely a few degrees below 0 ° C (see EP-B-0 378 636; US-A-5,272,883).
- the Refrigeration system both an air cooling device and one Have snow cooling device. Partly an attempt is made appropriate conditions only by an air cooling device to achieve (see US-A-5,102,044).
- the width of the snow slope is common in snow sports halls not exploited.
- the load on the snow layer by the skiers and snowboarders focuses on a middle range. It comes through the Swinging movements of skiers and snowboarders to oust them of snow from the middle area into the Border areas.
- This trend has been increasing Share of snowboarders increased.
- the snow slope this gives it a channel shape, with the middle area tends to form ribs and ice and the edge areas difficult to drive because of the shifted snow are. Both increase the risk of accidents.
- the invention has for its object a snow sports hall to design and operate such that Snow loads from the central area to the peripheral areas be significantly reduced.
- the snow cooling device is designed so that the Layer of snow to a temperature of - 10 ° C or below is coolable and that the snow layer on such Temperatures are maintained as long as they are kept by skiers is used.
- the basic idea of the invention is therefore that Snow temperature well below freezing maintain, although such a temperature to avoid the Melting would not be necessary. It is already there based on the knowledge that the Snow at such low temperatures is much less tends to be shipped outward by the skiers become. This is because the consistency of the Snow at such low temperatures significantly from Snow makes a distinction - just like in the state of the art is kept cool enough that it does not melts. It is more compact and harder. The deep snow temperature also has the consequence that the inclination for hump formation is considerably less.
- a snow sports hall designed and operated in this way is required much less effort for leveling the Snow layer.
- the layer of snow remains during one day largely unchanged and therefore will exploited more evenly.
- Finally forms the low temperature of the snow layer a very dry one and powdery snow consistency. This is it Skiing is much more pleasant and less dangerous. In the event of a fall, there is a risk of clothing be moistened, significantly less.
- the air cooling device is designed so that the temperature the air can be set to values above -3 ° C is. Because of the low temperature of the snow layer the temperature of the air can even be above freezing being held. This is not just for the ski and Snowboarders an advantage, but also reduced the effort for the air cooling device, especially the air also cooled by the low temperature of the snow layer becomes. Especially when for the air and Snow cooling devices provided separate cooling circuits be, the implementation of the invention Operating mode does not lead to higher energy consumption, so that the lower maintenance costs effect. It is particularly advantageous that the The attractiveness of such a snow sports hall for skiers essential for the reasons already mentioned is bigger.
- the invention is based on a schematic illustrated embodiment illustrated in more detail. It shows a snow sports hall 1 with one Hall floor 2, a first end wall 3, a second Front wall 4, a rear side wall 5 and a ceiling wall 6. The front side wall is omitted.
- the Hall floor 2 is shown folded up at an angle. He is inclined downwards to the right. Perpendicular to the drawing plane it is horizontal.
- the hall floor 2, the End walls 3, 4, side walls 5 and top wall 6 are insulated with thermal insulation panels.
- the Air coolers 13, 14, 15 are in the upper area of the snow sports hall 1 arranged and have heat exchangers 16, 17, 18, which are each acted upon by two fans 19 to 24 are.
- An inlet line 25 ensures the supply of a refrigerant. From it go branch lines 26, 27, 28 to the heat exchangers 16, 17, 18. These open into a return line 29.
- the return line 29 goes outside the snow sports hall 1 in a second evaporator 30 where the refrigerant through a heat exchanger 31 is cooled. This is followed by the feed line 25, with a built-in pump 32 for circulation of the refrigerant through the supply line 25, the Branch lines 26, 27, 28 and the return line 29 provides.
- a warm circuit runs parallel to this cooling circuit, consisting of supply line 33, branch lines 34, 35, 36 and return line 37.
- the branch lines 34, 35, 36 open into the heat exchangers 16, 17, 18 and branch off behind it again.
- the warm circuit serves the air coolers 13, 14, 15 or their heat exchangers 16, 17, 18 if necessary, defrost by using a heat exchange medium with a temperature above freezing is passed through. For such a temperature provides a condenser 47, which is integrated in the heat exchanger 45 is. Switching the cooling circuit to the warm circuit is controlled by the two-way valves 39 to 44.
- the snow sports hall 1 is in the upper area of the first End wall 3 an air inlet opening 48 and also in upper area of the second end wall 4 an air outlet opening 49 on.
- the air inlet opening 48 and Air outlet opening 49 are provided with fins 50, 51, over which the free cross section of the air inlet opening 48 or air outlet 49 set and the can also be closed.
- Heat exchanger 52, 53 which is part of a coolant circuit 54, in which a pump 55 is arranged.
- the evaporators 10, 30 are part of a refrigeration plant 64, outside of the snow sports hall 1 in a separate, Housing not shown here housed is.
- the core of this refrigeration system 64 are two screw compressors 65, 66 that are not through here Motors shown are driven and adjustable Have funding. They point out in a way known per se Have an oil injection. For this reason the vaporous refrigerant via lines 67 or 68 first passed into an oil separator 69 or 70, where the oil is separated from the refrigerant and through a Return line 71 or 72 and cooler 73 contained therein or 74 fed back to the screw compressors 65, 66 becomes.
- a larger part of the refrigerant is supplied via lines 75, 76 passed into a large capacitor 78 and there liquefied. Blowers 79, 80 provide cooling for the Capacitor 78.
- a smaller portion passes through the line 81 into the condenser 47 and from there into a pre-evaporator 82 where it evaporates.
- the one through the condenser 78 conducted part of the refrigerant is divided.
- On The greater part goes via line 83 into the pre-evaporator 82, with a motor-adjustable throttle 84 ensures the pressure reduction.
- the other, smaller part goes via a line 85 to two parallel heat exchangers 86, 87 and then on to line 81 which goes into the pre-evaporator 82 flows.
- Partial evaporation takes place in the pre-evaporator 82 of the refrigerant instead.
- the vaporous part is over the lines 89, 90 back to the screw compressors 65, 66 returned.
- the liquid portion is over a Line 91 discharged. This divides into the lines 92, 93 on which via motor-adjustable throttles 94 or 95 go to the evaporators 10 or 30. By Adjusting the throttles 94, 95 can reduce the inflow of the coolant to the evaporators 10, 30 corresponding to the respective Requirements are adjusted.
- Each air cooler 13, 14, 15 is a snow cannon 96, 97, 98 assigned.
- the snow cannons 96, 97, 98 are via a water pump 99 and an inlet line 100 and supplied with water via branch lines 101, 102, 103, which is cooled in the heat exchanger 86. Further the snow cannons 96, 97, 98 via a compressor 104, an inlet line 105 and branch lines 106, 107, 108 supplied with compressed air through the heat exchanger 87 has cooled.
- the compressed air cares for a fine atomization of the injected water.
