Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Sitz- und Liegemöbel, beispielsweise ein sog. Schlafsofa (10). Die Erfindung schlägt vor, das Schlafsofa (10) mit einem schwenkbaren Seitenteil (26) auszubilden, das in einer horizontalen Position eine Sitz- und Liegefläche (14) des Sofas (10) verlängert und in einer schräg nach oben stehenden Position eine Armstütze bildet. Das Seitenteil (26) ist in sich nochmals schwenkbar, so dass das Seitenteil (26) auch insgesamt in eine schräg nach oben stehende Position gebracht werden kann, in der das Seitenteil (26) eine Rückenlehne bildet. Des Weiteren ist eine Rückenlehne (20) des Sofas (10) in eine horizontale Position schwenkbar, in der sie die Liegefläche (14) in einer Tiefenrichtung des Sofas (10) vergrößert. <IMAGE>

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Sitz- und Liegemöbel mit den Merkmalen des Oberbegriffs des Anspruchs 1.
Es sind Sofas mit Seitenteilen bekannt, die zwischen einer senkrecht oder schräg nach oben stehenden Position und einer liegenden oder horizontalen Position hin- und herschwenkbar sind. In der nach oben stehenden Position bilden die Seitenteile Armstützen. In der liegenden oder horizontalen Position verlängern die Seitenteile eine Sitzfläche zu einer Liegefläche. Das Sofa ist dadurch zum Sitzen und zum Liegen nutzbar.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein derartiges Sitz- und Liegemöbel mit einem erweiterten Verwendungsbereich vorzuschlagen.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch die Merkmale des Anspruchs 1 gelöst. Das erfindungsgemäße Sitz- und Liegemöbel weist ein Seitenteil mit zwei gegeneinander schwenkbaren Elementen auf. Das Seitenteil lässt sich dadurch nicht nur insgesamt gegenüber der Sitz- und Liegefläche verschwenken, sondern es ist zusätzlich in sich schwenkbar. Dadurch sind drei Positionen des Seitenteils möglich: Zum einen kann das Seitenteil horizontal eingestellt werden und verlängert dadurch die Sitzfläche des Sitz- und Liegemöbels zu einer Liegefläche. Zum zweiten lässt sich ein Endelement des Seitenteils schräg oder senkrecht nach oben stehend schwenken und bildet dadurch eine Armstütze des Sitz- und Liegemöbels, das Sitz- und Liegemöbel bildet in dieser Position des Seitenteils beispielsweise ein Sofa. Diese beiden Positionen des Seitenteils des erfindungsgemäßen Sitz- und Liegemöbels sind an sich bekannt und eingangs der Beschreibung dargelegt worden. Als dritte und neue Funktion lässt sich das Seitenteil insgesamt in eine schräg nach oben stehende Position schwenken, es bildet eine Rückenlehne für ein langgestrecktes Sitzen auf dem Sitz- und Liegemöbel mit den Beinen auf der Sitzfläche ausgestreckt. In dieser Position des Seitenteils bildet das erfindungsgemäße Sitz- und Liegemöbel beispielsweise eine Chaiselongue oder einen Longchair. Am anderen Seitenende der Sitz- und Liegefläche ist vorzugsweise ein schwenkbares Seitenteil vorgesehen, dies ist allerdings nicht zwingend. Die Erfindung hat den Vorteil, dass die Verwendungsmöglichkeiten des Sitz- und Liegemöbels auf einfache Weise erweitert sind.
Eine Weiterbildung der Erfindung sieht vor, dass die Sitz- und Liegefläche einschließlich der daran schwenkbar angebrachten Seitenteile auf einem Gestell in seitlicher Richtung verschiebbar angebracht sind. Durch diese Verschiebbarkeit lässt sich die Sitz- und Liegefläche in jeder Position der Seitenteile so verschieben, dass sich die Sitz- und Liegefläche in etwa in einer Mitte des Gestells befindet. Die Verschiebbarkeit ist zum einen aus ästhetischen- und Symmetriegründen vorteilhaft, da es beispielsweise unvorteilhaft aussehen würde, wenn bei insgesamt als Rückenlehne nach oben geschwenktem Seitenteil das Gestell des Sitz- und Liegemöbels auf der Seite des nach oben geschwenkten Seitenteils überstehen und auf der anderen Seite die Sitz- und Liegefläche über das Gestell überstehen würde. Zum anderen hat diese Ausgestaltung der Erfindung den Vorteil, dass die Gefahr eines Kippens des Sitzund Liegemöbels bei Belastung an einem Ende der Sitz- und Liegefläche zumindest verringert ist, da ein Überstand der Sitz- und Liegefläche über das Gestell durch die Verschiebbarkeit verringert ist.
Eine Weiterbildung der Erfindung sieht vor, eine Rückenlehne des Sitz- und Liegemöbels zwischen einer vorzugsweise schräg nach oben stehenden und einer liegenden oder horizontalen Position hin- und herschwenkbar auszubilden. In der stehenden Position dient die Rückenlehne zum Anlehnen, in der liegenden Position vergrößert Sie eine Liegefläche des Sitz- und Liegemöbels in einer Tiefenrichtung. Lässt sich die Liegefläche durch das oder die Seitenteile verlängern so lässt sie sich durch die schwenkbare Rückenlehne verbreitern.
Die Erfindung wird nachfolgend anhand eines in der Zeichnung dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiels näher erläutert. Es zeigen:
Figur 1a bis 1c
ein erfindungsgemäßes Sitz- und Liegemöbel mit drei verschiedenen Seitenteil-Positionen in Vorderansicht; und

eine Seitenansicht auf das Sitz- und Liegemöbel aus Figur 1a ohne Polsterung.
Das in Figuren 1a bis 1c dargestellte, erfindungsgemäße Sitz- und Liegemöbel kann als sog. Schlafsofa 10 bezeichnet werden. Es weist ein Stahlrohrgestell 12 auf, auf dem eine Sitz- und Liegefläche 14 angeordnet ist. Die Sitz- und Liegefläche 14 weist einen mehrteiligen Stahlrahmen 16 auf, der von einer Polsterung 18 umschlossen ist. An einer Rückseite des Schlafsofas 10 ist eine Rückenlehne 20 angeordnet, die mit Schwenkbeschlägen 22 (vgl. Figur 2) am Gestell 12 befestigt ist. Die Rückenlehne 20 ist zwischen einer schräg nach oben stehenden Lehnposition und einer horizontal liegenden Position hin- und herschwenkbar. Die stehende Lehnposition ist in Figur 2 mit durchgezogenen Linien dargestellt. In der Lehnposition dient die Rückenlehne 20 zum Anlehnen eines Rückens einer auf dem Sofa 10 sitzenden Person. Die liegende Position der Rückenlehne 20 ist in Figur 2 mit Strichlinien angedeutet. In dieser Position vergrößert die Rückenlehne 20 die Sitz- und Liegefläche 14 in einer Tiefenrichtung des Sofas. In der stehenden Position ist die Rückenlehne 20 mit einem nicht dargestellten Rastbeschlag arretiert. Derartige Rastbeschläge sind dem Fachmann an sich bekannt und sollen an dieser Stelle nicht erläutert werden. Die Rückenlehne 20 ist in Figuren 1a bis 1c in ihrer stehenden Position mit dünnen Linien angedeutet.
Die Sitz- und Liegefläche 14 weist an ihren beiden seitlichen Enden Seitenteile 24, 26 auf die mit Schwenk- und Rastbeschlägen 28 aus einer horizontalen oder liegenden, die Sitz- und Liegefläche 14 verlängernden, in Figur 1a dargestellten Position um einen Winkel von beispielsweise etwa 60° nach6 oben schwenkbar sind. Derartige Schwenk- und Rastbeschläge sind dem Fachmann an sich bekannt und sollen, da sie nicht den eigentlichen Gegenstand der Erfindung bilden, an dieser Stelle nicht näher erläutert werden. Das in Figuren 1a bis c rechts dargestellte Seitenteil 26 umfasst zwei Elemente 30, 32, die mit einem weiteren, gleichen Schwenk- und Rastbeschlag 28 schwenkbar miteinander verbunden sind. Das Seitenteil 26 ist dadurch in sich schwenkbar.
Das in Figuren 1a bis 1c links dargestellte Seitenteil 24 lässt sich, wie in Figur 1b dargestellt, in eine von der Sitz- und Liegefläche 14 schräg nach oben stehende Position schwenken, in der das Seitenteil 24 eine Armstütze bildet. In gleicher Weise lässt sich ein äußeres- oder Endelement 32 des in Figuren 1a bis c rechts dargestellten Seitenteils 26 nach oben schwenken und bildet in dieser Position ebenfalls eine Armstütze, wie in Figur 1b zu sehen.
Anstatt das Endelement 32 des in Figuren 1a bis c rechts dargestellten Seitenteils 26 für sich nach oben zu schwenken, kann auch, wie in Figur 1c dargestellt, das Seitenteil 26 insgesamt in eine schräg nach oben stehende Position geschwenkt werden. In dieser Position bildet das Seitenteil 26 eine Rückenlehne. Das in Figuren 1a bis c links dargestellte Seitenteil 24 verbleibt dabei vorzugsweise in seiner horizontalen Position. Das Sofa 10 bildet in der in Figur 1c dargestellten Position seiner Seitenteile 24, 26 eine Chaiselongue oder einen Longchair für eine ausgestreckt auf ihm sitzende oder ruhende Person. Die Person lehnt mit ihrem Rücken auf dem schräg nach oben stehenden Seitenteil 26 und hat die Beine ausgestreckt auf der Sitz- und Liegefläche 14, die durch das horizontal stehende Seitenteil 24 auf einer Seite verlängert wird.
Um eine Mitte des horizontalen Teils der Sitz- und Liegefläche 14 in einer Mitte des Gestells 12 des Schlafsofas halten zu können, ist die Sitz- und Liegefläche 14 in seitlicher Richtung verschiebbar auf dem Gestell 12 angebracht. Verschiebbarkeit in seitlicher Richtung bedeutet in Figuren 1a bis c nach links oder rechts. Eine Schiebeführung der Sitz- und Liegefläche 14 auf dem Gestell 12 ist in Figur 2 gut erkennbar. In Figur 2 ist die Polsterung 18 sowohl der Sitzund Liegefläche 14 als auch der Rückenlehne 20 weggelassen, so dass der Rahmen 16 sichtbar ist. Der Rahmen 16 der Sitz- und Liegefläche 14 weist an seiner Unterseite bügelförmige Klauen 34 auf, die mit Kunststoffrutschern 36 an ihren Enden versehen sind. Jeweils einer der Rutscher 36 liegt oben auf in seitlicher Richtung des Schlafsofas 10 verlaufenden Längsholmen 38 des Gestells 12 auf. Der jeweils andere Rutscher 36 untergreift den Längsholm 38 schräg seitlich von einer Innenseite und von unten und sichert die Sitz- und Liegefläche 14 gegen Abheben vom Gestell 12. Die Verschiebbarkeit der Sitzund Liegefläche 14 auf dem Gestell 12 ist durch einen Vergleich der Figuren 1a und b mit Figur 1c unschwer erkennbar.

Claims (3)

  1. Sitz- und Liegemöbel, mit einer Sitz- und Liegefläche, und mit einem Seitenteil, das zwischen einer liegenden, die Sitz- und Liegefläche seitlich verlängernden und einer stehenden Position hin- und herschwenkbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Seitenteil (26) zwei gegeneinander schwenkbare Elemente (30, 32) aufweist, so dass das Seitenteil (26) in sich in derselben Richtung schwenkbar ist wie das Seitenteil (26) insgesamt.
  2. Sitz- und Liegemöbel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Sitz- und Liegemöbel (10) ein Gestell (12) aufweist, auf dem die Sitzund Liegefläche (14) einschließlich des Seitenteils (26) in seitlicher Richtung verschiebbar angebracht ist.
  3. Sitz- und Liegemöbel nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Sitz- und Liegemöbel (10) eine Rückelehne (20) aufweist, die zwischen einer stehenden Lehnposition und einer die Sitz- und Liegefläche (14) in einer Tiefenrichtung vergrößernden, liegenden Position hin- und herschwenkbar ist.
