Description

Toilettenanlage mit einer Toilettenschüssel Toilet facility with a toilet bowl

The invention relates to a toilet system with a toilet bowl can be flushed with a flushing device, leads to a conduit, which is connected to the toilet bowl and to a disposal conduit, having means for transporting a suction-extraction substance from the toilet bowl into the conduit and in the discharge line, Which means have two valves in the line and a pressure chamber between them, in which a negative pressure can be generated to extract the suction mass from the toilet bowl and an excess pressure can be generated to transport the extracted suction mass into the disposal line.

Sie sind in der Haustechnik nicht erwünscht .Toilet systems, in which the suction mass is extracted by means of vacuum, have hitherto been known primarily in vehicles, for example in railway carriages and mobile homes. For example, WO 92/18713 discloses a toilet installation in which a device for generating negative pressure has an intermediate container and a collecting container. Said device evacuates the intermediate container in order to generate the negative pressure, so that when an open valve in a line, the suction mass is sucked into the intermediate container. Collection containers require a lot of space and must be emptied. They are not wanted in building technology.

A partial vacuum is created in the tank by means of a diaphragm pump, which creates a suction effect. EP 0 806 527 discloses a flushing device which has a hollow, cup-shaped closure element. The closure element works together with an inlet opening and an outlet opening, both of which are both open or closed.

Toilet facilities, each with a collecting tank, are also known from EP 0 704 372 and EP 1 022 399.

In der Praxis dürfte sich diese Toilettenanlage kaum bewähren.EP 0 763 633 AI discloses a suction toilet which has a pressure chamber in the discharge line between two valves. Due to a negative pressure in this chamber, when a valve on the inlet side is opened, suction mass is sucked from the toilet bowl through the drain line into this chamber. After switching over the two valves, the suction mass is pressed from the chamber into another line by means of pressure. A suction jet pump, which is operated with compressed air, is provided for evacuating the chamber. A bellows in the pressure chamber forms a flexible membrane and serves as a sealant and is intended to prevent bad air from escaping from the drain line. When a vacuum is generated, a spring is tensioned, which builds up pressure when the pressure is released. The problem with this toilet system is that sealing the chamber by means of a flexible membrane is complex and prone to failure. It takes a comparatively long time to build up a vacuum using a suction jet pump. In addition, the achievable pressure for expelling the suction mass from the chamber is very limited. In practice, this toilet facility is unlikely to prove itself.

The invention has for its object to provide a toilet system of the type mentioned, which is reliable and durable with low water consumption. The object is achieved in a generic toilet system in that the pressure chamber is designed as a piston cylinder and the piston is connected to a controllable drive for generating the overpressure or underpressure. In the toilet system according to the invention, the negative or positive pressure is generated by moving the piston. This enables a vacuum to be built up very quickly, for example within a fraction of a second. An overpressure can also be generated very quickly and also with an overpressure above 1 bar, for example about 2 bar. Another advantage of the toilet system according to the invention is seen in the fact that the stroke and thus the volume of the suction mass that can be extracted is precisely adjustable. It is also possible to carry out two or more suction cycles in succession. This enables a clean rinsing process with very little water. The piston of the piston cylinder can itself serve as a sealant that prevents bad air from escaping to the outside. A flexible membrane or the like is therefore not necessary. According to a development of the invention, the piston is moved by means of an electric motor. In conjunction with a control device, this enables precise and precise control of the suction or ejection process. These processes are also adjustable and adaptable to the respective toilet bowl.

Es zeigen:An exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings. Show it:

Fig. 1 schematisch eine erfindungsgemässe Toilettenanlage, Fig. 2 eine weitere schematische Darstellung der erfindungsge- mässen Toilettenanlage, Fig. 3 schematisch der zeitliche Verfahrensablauf eines Spül- vorgangs und Fig. 4-6 schematisch das Ansaugen und Ausstossen von Absaugmasse.1 schematically shows a toilet installation according to the invention, FIG. 2 shows a further schematic illustration of the toilet installation according to the invention, FIG. 3 schematically shows the time sequence of a flushing process and Fig. 4-6 schematically the suction and ejection of suction mass.

Denkbar ist hier auch eine berührungslose oder automatische Auslösung.1 and 2, the toilet system has a toilet bowl 5 which is funnel-shaped and has a lower outlet 5a. However, this output 5a is comparatively small and has a cross section of, for example, 30 mm 2 . At the bottom of this outlet 5a, a suction line 6 is connected in a line 29, which also has a comparatively small cross section. The toilet bowl 5 can be flushed with a flushing device 1 and has a flushing tube 3 through which flushing water can be introduced into the interior of the toilet bowl 5. The flushing device 1 can be a cistern or another suitable flushing device. It is essential, however, that comparatively little rinse water is used, for example less than one liter. The flush is triggered using a button 2 or another suitable triggering device. Contactless or automatic triggering is also conceivable here.

A valve 7 is arranged in the suction line 6, which shuts off the suction line 6 in a closed state and opens the passage to a chamber 12 of a piston cylinder 8 in the open state. The valve 7 is controlled by a control device 26 via a signal line 24.

The piston cylinder 8 has a housing 9 in which a piston 10 can be displaced to a limited extent in the directions of the double arrow 19. The piston 10 divides the housing 9 into a lower chamber 12 and an upper chamber 13. The piston 10 seals these two chambers 12 and 13 against one another. For this purpose, a circumferential seal 10a is arranged on the outside of the piston 10. The piston 10 is driven by a motor 14, for example, an electric motor and is connected to the piston 10 via a piston rod 11 which, as can be seen, protrudes from the housing 9 at one end. When the piston 10 moves, air is expelled from the upper chamber 13 into the environment by means of valves 22 and 23, or fresh air is drawn in from the ambient air. The valves 22 and 23 can be simple flap valves. The motor 14 is supplied with power via a power line 15. The control device 26 is likewise supplied via this line. The control device 26 can also be integrated in the motor 14.

The lower chamber 12 has an outlet 12a which, as can be seen, is arranged at the lowest point of the lower chamber 12 and to which a pressure line 17 is connected. The pressure line 17 can be a flexible hose or a fixed pipe. Another valve 16 is located in the vicinity of the outlet 12a and is controlled by the control device 26 via a signal line 25. In one state the passage to the pressure line 17 is closed and in the other state it is free. The lower chamber 12 forms a pressure chamber and this can be integrated in the toilet bowl 5 and form a unit with this.

The pressure line 17 has a cross section which can essentially correspond to the cross section of the suction line 6. This cross-section is therefore also comparatively small and can be compared to that of a garden hose, for example. It can be comparatively long, for example several meters long, and, according to FIG. 1, leads to a downpipe of a disposal line 18. The pressure line 17 preferably has a front end 17a which projects comparatively deep, for example several meters, into a disposal line 18. The pressure line 17 is, for example, by a lateral fillet zen 18a introduced into the disposal line 18.

Nachfolgend wird die Arbeitsweise der erfindungsgemässen Toilettenanlage erläutert .The mode of operation of the toilet installation according to the invention is explained below.

The idle state of the toilet system is shown in Fig. 2. The valves 7 and 16 are closed and the piston 10 is in the lower position shown. When using the toilet system, the flushing device 1 can be actuated for prewetting the inside 5b of the toilet bowl 5. Through use, the suction mass 4 collects in the toilet bowl 5 and fills the suction line 6 up to the valve 7. A flush is triggered by pressing the trigger button 2. In this case, water reaches the toilet bowl 5 through the flushing pipe 3. The amount of water used here is controlled by the controller 26 and the signal line 27. One or more nozzles are preferably provided, which in this case spray the inside 5b of the toilet bowl 5.

After spraying, the piston 10 moves approximately into the position shown in FIG. 4. The uppermost position is preferably not fully reached here. Since the valves 7 and 16 are still closed, a vacuum is generated in a chamber 12 ', which is preferably less than about 0.5 bar. At the same time, a further flushing of the toilet bowl 5 can be triggered via the control device 26. At about the same time, the valve 7 is opened comparatively quickly and thus essentially suddenly. The rapid opening can take place, for example, by means of a prestressed spring, not shown here. At about the same time, the flushing of the toilet bowl 5 is interrupted. The lower chamber 12 'is so large that it is filled approximately half with air and half with suction mass 4. When the suction mass 4 is sucked in, the solids are inflow into the chamber 12 'is reduced, so that the extracted mass 4' is similar to a suspension. 5 shows with arrow 28 the inflow direction of the suction mass 4 into the lower chamber 12 '. Above the suction mass 4 'there is an air cushion 21 which, as mentioned above, takes up about half the volume of the lower chamber 12'.

Dieses weitere Spülwasser gelangt in die Entsorgungsleitung 18.If the suction mass 4 is sucked off, the valve 7 is closed and the piston 10 moves downward, the air cushion 21 being compressed and an overpressure of, for example, 2 bar being generated. Now the valve 16 is opened and, as a result of the overpressure, the suction mass 4 1 is expelled into the pressure line 17 and finally into the disposal line 18. The valve 16 is then closed. When the piston 10 moves downward, fresh air is introduced into the upper chamber 13 via the valve 22 from the ambient air. As a rule, the pressure line 17 is at least partially filled with suction mass 4 '. In order to also eject this suction mass, a second rinsing process is preferably triggered. Here, the toilet bowl 5 is rinsed again and this rinsing water is sucked in with the above-described process and then expelled. The pressure line 17 is flushed through with this further process and at least partially cleaned. This further rinse water reaches the disposal line 18.

The suction line 6 preferably opens tangentially and preferably also downwards into the pressure chamber 12. This results in a particularly favorable dynamic of the suction mass 4 and thus the inflow and outflow of this mass 4 in the cylinder 8. The suction mass 4 flows tangentially and downwards into the Pressure chamber 12 and thus rinses cylinder 8, so to speak, and rotates in pressure chamber 12. Subsequently, suction mass 4 is expelled. Since everything is in motion, a stop in the Pressure chamber 12 can be avoided. Any parts that have settled are washed up again. Contact with the piston 10 and the seal is largely avoided.
