  • the base 1022 may contain multiple fans and motors to provide more air flow through the filter assembly. Because of the filter housing geometry, the best performance with this device is obtained by using two centrifugal fans, powered by one or two motors.

Turning the cartridge relative to the openings of the air moving member 1822 will change the size of the opening of the air flow path (open or close the same), thus changing the total air flow and intensity of the substance emitted.
  • the cartridge 1824 has been turned 90 degrees counter-clockwise relative to the air moving member 1822. This covers half of the total area of the air inlet 1826 of the air moving member 1822, leaving the area 152 unobstructed, and reducing the amount of air flowing through the device.

Abstract

L'invention concerne des dispositifs et des procédés pour la désodorisation et/ou l'assainissement de l'air. Selon une variante non limitative, le dispositif décrit comporte un ou plusieurs éléments passifs et un aérateur. Les éléments passifs sont détachables de l'aérateur et peuvent être utilisés séparément comme filtres passifs, à condition de renfermer une substance désodorisante, ou bien ils peuvent être utilisés en tant que diffuseurs passifs, à condition de renfermer une substance destinée à être diffusée dans l'air. On peut utiliser un grand nombre de combinaisons de filtres passifs et de diffuseurs passifs en association avec l'aérateur, ou bien comme éléments autonomes, dans le cadre des procédés considérés. Selon une autre variante non limitative, les dispositifs décrits ont une double fonction de désodorisation et de diffusion de substances dans l'air. L'invention concerne également des kits. On peut agencer de différentes manières les substances à diffuser, afin d'améliorer l'extension de la surface de diffusion pour ces substances. L'invention concerne enfin des mécanismes de contrôle d'intensité.
